Young guys make swimming pool using beer crates

A group of young men decided to cool off in the summer heat by making their own swimming pool - out of beer crates.
The four Dutch men made a video showing the process of making their own pool in a garden in the Netherlands.
Building the swimming pool required a huge amount of drinking, but it seems the fearless builders were up to the task.
It took a whopping 138 crates of beer, totalling 3,312 beer bottles - just over 1,923 pints to make the entire pool.
The crates of beer were tied together using tie-wraps, and fortified with wooden beams bolted to the crates.
And a huge blue plastic sheet was then laid on top before the pool was filled with a hosepipe.
They then added some stones for decoration and a small staircase to get in, also made out of crates.
The four men were then able to enjoy a swim in their brand new pool.

Manchester United €100million target Paul Pogba medical cancelled by agent Mino Raiola

Mino Raiola has cancelled Paul Pogba’s Manchester United medical, according to reports in Spain.
The Old Trafford club have agreed personal terms with the France midfielder and a fee with Juventus, but there is currently an impasse between Raiola, Pogba’s agent, and United over his enormous commission.
While United still expect the deal to get done, Raiola has moved to startle the Premier League giants by cancelling a medical that was booked in Miami.
Madrid-based sports daily AS have revealed that Pogba was due to have a full check with Dr Italo Linfante of the Miami Cardic and Vascular Institute.
However Linfante, who is currently holidaying in Europe, has been told not to cut short his vacation by Raiola as the deal teeters on a knife edge.
Despite recently closing the transfers of Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Zlatan Ibrahimovic to United, the 48-year-old Italian agent is putting the Old Trafford club through the mill if they are to confirm the world’s most expensive ever transfer.
Juventus will receive €120million for the 23-year-old midfielder who joined from Manchester United on a free.

Europe First Zika Baby: Parent VERY EXCITED despite effects of disease

The parents of the first baby to be born in Europe with the Zika virus were “very excited” at the birth, say doctors.
His mother became infected during a trip to Latin America, where the disease is raging, although doctors will not reveal the country.
The boy, who microephaly, an abnormally small head caused by the disease, was born at the Vall d’Hebron hospital in Barcelona.
Neonatal chief Felix Castillo said: “The baby did not require any resuscitation.
“Its head circumference is smaller than normal and it has microcephaly. The baby’s vital signs were normal and stable.”
The mum was 20 weeks into her pregnancy when she was diagnosed with the virus – along with dengue.
But she and the boy’s dad, who have not been identified, were determined to keep the child.
In fact head of obstetrics at the hospital Elena Carrera declared the couple were “very excited”.
The mum had the baby via caesarean 40 weeks into her pregnancy. A woman in Slovenia was carrying a tot with microcephaly but she had an abortion.
Zika is a virus mainly spread by mosquitoes. For most people it is a very mild infection and isn’t harmful, but it has been linked to birth defects.
Hundreds of adults from Europe have contracted Zika after spending time in countries such as Brazil, which is preparing for the start of the Olympics next month.
Scientists calculated how many people could become infected by the mosquito-borne virus in every five square kilometre region of Central and South America.
Prof Andrew Tatem, of the University of Southampton – a member of the Anglo-French research team – said: “These projections are an important early contribution to global efforts to understand the scale of the Zika epidemic.
“They also provide information about its possible magnitude to help allow for better planning for surveillance and outbreak response, internationally and locally.”
Since the horrific epidemic began in 2015, nearly 5,000 cases of microcephaly have been recorded in affected regions.

Two terrorist slit priest's throat before taking two nuns and two worshippers hostage in Rouen, Normandyare

A parish priest has been killed after having his throat cut by two knife-wielding hostage-takers who stormed a French church in a suspected terror attack.
The two attackers entered the Church of the Gambetta at around 9.45am local time (8.45am UK time) during morning prayers.
They took the priest, two nuns and two worshippers hostage and local media reports suggest the knifemen shouted a message in support of Islamic State as they launched the attack.
A third nun is said to have escaped the siege, in Rouen, Normandy, and raised the alarm.
The hour-long armed stand-off was ended when the hostage-takers were shot dead.
Police found the body of the priest - named locally as 84-year-old Jacques Hamel - inside the church.
One of the worshipper is said to be fighting for their life in hospital after suffering serious injuries.
The incident is being treated as a suspect terror attack and the anti-terror of the French prosecutor's office have now launched an investigation into the attack.
The Priest
France's Interior Ministry confirmed the priest and two hostage-takers had died at the scene.
A local police source said the men stormed a back entrance of the church before taking the hostages.
Police blocked off the roads around the church as nearby residents were told to stay indoors.
Paramedics were seen pulling stretchers out of ambulances.
One resident said he was walking to church as the horror broke out and he was told to go home and stay indoors by armed officers.
He told French newspaper MetroNews: "I was going to go out and do my shopping when the police started shouting me to go straight home and barricade myself.
"There is a lot of agitation, the police are bulletproof vest and armed."

Pokemon Go Fever: Rihanna warns Fans not to play Game at her Concert

Is Pokemon Go more popular than Rihanna now so that someone would catch the Pocket Monsters rather than pay attention to her performance at concerts? As the game fever has spread all around the world, the Bajan beauty had to warn her fans not play the game during her show in Lille, France.

"I don't want to see you texting your boyfriends or your girlfriends," she told the crowd attending her concert on Saturday, July 23. She added, "I don't want to see you catching any Pokemons up in this b***h!"
The 28-year-old might see it necessary to remind her fans to focus on her during her shows since other artists have been facing the same issue. During a recent Beyonce Knowles concert, a fan caught a fellow concertgoer engrossed in the game.

"She's finding Pokemon when Beyonce's singing. F**king Pokemon! Look at where she is. Look at where she is. She's next to the stage!" the fan reported.

Dr Dre handcuffed and detained outside his Malibu home after accused of "pointing a gun" at a motorist

Dr Dre handcuffed and detained after driver accuses rapper of "pointing a gun at him" outside Malibu home
Police in Los Angeles say they were called to the star's house at around 11.15am yesterday to reports of a man "brandishing a firearm".
When they arrived, a driver alleged the hip hop mogul - real name Andre Young - pulled out a gun and ordered him to move his car from the end of his driveway.
In a press release, the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department said the Beats entrepreneur was "searched, handcuffed, and briefly detained in a patrol car" while they investigated.
They added he was "cooperative with investigating deputies, consented to a search of his person, and denied all allegations regarding the handgun."
Dre said the alleged victim was parked directly in front of his home and blocking his driveway, and he asked him to leave.
He said the motorist drove a short distance down the road, but came back a short time later and did the same thing.
The Straight Outta Compton star said he pulled out his mobile phone to film the incident and the person drove away. He denied threatening him.
Police added they found no weapon at the scene, the rapper was not taken into custody, and no arrests were made.

I wake up in a house built by slaves- Michelle Obama's speech endorsing Hillary Clinton

Michelle Obama has endorsed Hillary Clinton in a rousing speech to the Democratic National Convention .
The First Lady told the crowd in Philadelphia that "this election isn't about Democrat or Republican, it's about who we trust with power to influence our children in the next four to eight years."
Her speech was greeted by huge applause, as she set about making the case for Clinton and at the same time getting in attacks on Donald Trump without mentioning his name.
"The issues a president faces are not black and white and cannot be boiled down to 140 characters," she said.
Her speech was inspirational and personal in that she recounted moving into the White House and sending off her two daughters to school.
On the first day, as they left with Secret Service agents, she said, "I saw those little faces up against the window and the only thing I could think, 'What have we done?'"
The line drew laughs.
She also noted the awareness she and her husband had of the significance of being in the Oval Office.
"I wake up every morning in a house built by slaves," she said.
She then seemed to struggle against tears as she recounted the history making nature of Clinton's bid.
"Hillary has spent the decades to do the absolutely thankless work to actually make a difference in their lives," she said.
Obama noted that when Clinton "didn't win the nomination eight years ago, she didn't get angry or disillusioned. Hillary didn't pack up and go home."
The message was not lost after a day in which supporters of Bernie Sanders openly expressed their dismay at the party and booed at points when speakers mentioned unifying behind Clinton.
She needled Trump's signature slogan. "Don't let anyone tell you that this country isn't great - that we somehow need to make it great again," she said.

Toilet-themed Cafe in Indonesian where customers food is served in squat loos

A toilet-themed cafe where customers dine on meatballs floating in soup-filled latrines may not be everyone's idea of haute cuisine, but Indonesians are flocking to try it out.
Guests at the 'Jamban Cafe' sit on upright toilets around a table where food is served in squat loos.
The restaurant in Semarang on Java island serves traditional Indonesian 'bakso' - meatballs - bobbing in a murky soup.
Other loos contain a brightly-coloured, alcohol-free cocktail for washing the meatballs down.
For those who find the whole experience too nauseating, there is a sick bag hanging by the entrance.
Other places, such as Taiwan and Russia, are home to similar themed restaurants, but Indonesia's modest version has a key difference - it aims to educate people about sanitation and encourage the increased use of toilets.
'I was disgusted at first, but I eventually ate some of the food out of curiosity,' said customer Mukodas, a 27-year-old who, like many Indonesians, goes by one name.
'I think the idea is pretty interesting because if you try to have a campaign without a gimmick like this, the information won't stick.'
Another customer, 15-year-old Annisa Dhea, conceded she initially found the toilet treats 'a bit unappealing' but felt somewhat reassured after 'the owner told me that the food was clean and hygienic'.
The cafe - whose name 'Jamban' means toilet in Indonesian - has been open since April and currently only welcomes small groups who book ahead.
Owner Budi Laksono, a public health expert who used to work for the local government, hosts discussions with customers and shows them videos as he seeks to encourage people to use dedicated facilities for their bodily functions.
Millions of Indonesians live below the poverty line and the country has one of the world's highest rates of open defecation -- defecating outside and not in a designated toilet -- a practice blamed for spreading disease.
'This cafe serves as a reminder that many people in Indonesia still do not have toilets,' said Laksono, 52.
However he admitted that his unusual approach had sparked some controversy in the Muslim-majority country.
'Many critics say the cafe is inappropriate and against Islamic law,' he said.

Conrad Murray reveals he still love Michael Jackson and holds no grudge despite serving two-year for his death

He was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the case of Michael Jackson's death in 2009.
And after serving two years of a four year sentence between 2011 and 2013, Conrad Murray maintains that he did nothing wrong and still holds a soft spot for the Jackson Five star.
'I do not in any way have any anger. I am disappointed Michael had a very serious disability, he was addicted to opioids and he never shared that with me,' Murray said.
Adding: 'Outside of that, I love him.
He then voiced his opinion on believing he was wrongly convicted of a crime.
'I did not commit a crime. My conviction was completely unjust.
'This was a huge wrong that was done to me and I will right this wrong some time in my lifetime.'
Murray met Jackson for the first time in 2006, three years before the singer's death of a cardiac arrest, and he was the singer's personal physician and private confidante.
However, he was sent to jail for killing the King of Pop with an overdose of intravenous sedative in a case that made headlines around the world.
His license to practice was revoked in the state of Texas and suspended in California as well as Nevada.
But to this day, Murray maintains he was not responsible for Jackson's tragic death, despite being found guilty and serving two years.

Flood Disaster: Husband sacrificed self for wife by tying her to tree to save her from flood which killed him

An elderly woman has been rescued by soldiers after her husband tied her to a tree so she would not be washed away by floodwaters - and then was washed away himself.
Her lifelong partner had reportedly tied her to a tree with a makeshift rope made of his own clothes, but he was unable to hold on to the trunk until rescuers arrived.
Reports from Jingmen City, in Central China ’s Hubei Province, said that military firefighters received a distress call from a local who claimed his mother, aged 72, was stranded in the recent wave of flooding.
The caller said he was unable to reach his mum, and that attempts to throw her a lifebuoy had been unsuccessful.
Rescuers arrived at the victim’s location on an inflatable raft and found her clinging onto the tree for dear life, helped by the clothes knotted round her waist.
The woman reportedly told firefighters: "He tied me to the tree, but he was washed away by the floods" - referring to her loyal husband whose last act was to use his own clothes to tether his wife to the tree in order to ensure that she survived the horrific ordeal.
The soldiers eventually convinced the victim to let go of the tree and allow herself to be dragged onto the lifeboat.
The rescue footage has since gone viral on social media, along with the heartbreaking story of the victim’s loss which has typified the tragic floods of the last few weeks.

National Honour: Cristiano Ronaldo to have Airport named after him in Portugal

Cristiano Ronaldo is to have an airport named after him on his native island of Madeira after Portugal's Euro 2016 success.
The Real Madrid star already has a bronze statue, a museum and a hotel bearing his name in the island's capital city of Funchal, but will soon see the main airport rechristened the Madeira Cristiano Ronaldo airport.
Local governor Miguel Albuquerque confirmed the decision, according to Mundo Deportivo, with the 31-year-old superstar currently back on the island after holidaying in Ibiza.
Ronaldo was recently reported as desperate to play in the Super Cup in early August but Madrid sources say their number 7 is extremely unlikely to feature.
The forward was stretchered off in tears during Portugal's Euro 2016 final win over France, but recovered enough to prowl the touch line for the final few minutes and then lift the Henri Delaunay trophy.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo opened the doors of his new five-star hotel this week.
The Euro 2016 and Champions League winner is currently on holiday on Ibiza, recovering from a busy season on board a private yacht.
But he returned to Funchal in Madeira for the grand opening of his boutique hotel on Friday.
