Kim Kardashian should take down the world's biggest popstar more often because it appears to do wonders for her.
The
Keeping Up With The Kardashians star stole the spotlight last night
when she rocked up to an event at MGM Grand in Las Vegas days after she
made THAT phone call with Taylor Swift public.
The busty beauty oozed confidence as she squeezed her curvaceous figure into a gorgeous little black dress.
The reality stunner made sure to show off her curves from every angle as she posed up a storm on the red carpet.
Kim glowed as she strutted into the event and couldn't seem to keep a sultry smirk off her face.
The star almost didn't make it to the event after she experienced a major tooth disaster.
Cristiano Ronaldo is to have an airport named after him on his native island of Madeira after Portugal's Euro 2016 success.
The Real Madrid
star already has a bronze statue, a museum and a hotel bearing his name
in the island's capital city of Funchal, but will soon see the main
airport rechristened the Madeira Cristiano Ronaldo airport.
Local governor Miguel Albuquerque confirmed the decision, according to Mundo Deportivo, with the 31-year-old superstar currently back on the island after holidaying in Ibiza.
Ronaldo
was recently reported as desperate to play in the Super Cup in early
August but Madrid sources say their number 7 is extremely unlikely to
feature.
The forward was stretchered off in tears during Portugal's Euro 2016
final win over France, but recovered enough to prowl the touch line for
the final few minutes and then lift the Henri Delaunay trophy.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo opened the doors of his new five-star hotel this week.
Taylor Swift has broken her social media silence to wish Selena Gomez a happy birthday.
The Shake It Off singer put the drama behind her as she took to Instagram to celebrate her pal turning 24.
Calvin
Harris' ex-girlfriend shared a throwback snap of herself posing with
the Hands To Myself singer on webcam, and told fans that she couldn't
live without the star's friendship.
She captioned the snap:
"Going through old pictures today, because @selenagomez just turned 24! I
can't imagine my life without you, Selena. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"
A Muslim teacher called Islam claims a barman 'ordered him to take
off a hoodie with his name on - as it was offending other customers'.
Humiliated Nurul Islam, 32, claims he had arrived to meet fellow
teachers at his local pub when the worker told him his top was upsetting
others after last week's Nice terror attack .
Nurul - a father-of-three who is not a practising Muslim - says he
refused and reported the incident to police who confirmed they are
investigating it as a possible hate crime .
He said: "I was made to feel in my own country that I cannot even say my own name.
"My grandfather gave me that name. He fought in the Second World War against tyranny.
"I feel that this is making a mockery of that. As a grown man he should have done his research and not been so ignorant."
The alleged incident happened as Nurul, a technology teacher, went to the Coach and Horses pub near Hertford last Friday.
He is a GCSE year head at The Thomas Alleyne Academy in Stevenage and helps run the school's Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme.
He
was meeting fellow teachers who had had eaten and had some drinks at
the pub as they waited for pupils to finish the last leg of their
expedition.
Nurul had just arrived and was preparing to sit down when he says the barman approached him.
He said he has seen the barman before and claims he knows he is a teacher.
Everyone taking part in the expedition have official Duke of Edinburgh Award hoodies with their names on the back.
Nurul explained: "I didn't really know what he was going on about to start with.
"When I realised what he meant I was really upset. I have been through a lot of racist abuse growing up as a child.
"I
can deal with that ignorance but this was different. They are a service
provider and for them to do that is really upsetting."
Shocked Nurul returned to his car still wearing his hoodie, leaving the other teachers to wait for the pupils.
He added: "When the police called the barman he said two black guys had got in a fight in the pub the night before.
"The
officer asked him if three black guys came into his pub the next day
would he ask them to leave and he replied of course not.
"He thinks it is OK to treat me like this because my name is Islam and I am a Muslim."
Miqdaad
Versi of the Muslim Council of Britain said: "It's shocking and very
worrying to see this growth in Islamophobia and bigotry.
"We need
to really move beyond this, and the problem that we're facing is this
type of attitude seems to be getting more prevalent in society and more
socially acceptable."
Hertfordshire Police said: "A specialist hate crime officer is investigating to establish whether offences have been committed."
The pub declined to comment.
Usain Bolt laid down a marker for the Rio 2016 Olympics as he stormed to 200metres victory at the London Anniversary Games.
The
Jamaican sprinter, 29, showed no signs of rust, in what was his return
following a pelvic injury, as beat his rivals in 19.89 seconds.
The
world's fastest man will be bidding to make history this summer as the
first person to win the 100m and 200m double at three consecutive Games,
following his successes in Beijing (2008) and London, four years ago.
Bolt confirmed to the BBC after the race that he was not in peak condition.
“I’m getting there, I’m not fully in shape, but I’ll get there in time,” admitted Bolt.
“It’s always great [to be here in London]; a lot of fun,” added the Jamaican.
HBO tries to tide fans over "Game of Thrones"
season 7, which isn't premiering until summer 2017, by releasing an
"In-Production" video. While the actors are not back on the set yet due
to the sunny weather which can't reflect the gloomy mood of the show,
the crew's already working behind the camera which is shown in the
teaser.
Meanwhile, the cast including Sophie Turner, Liam Cunningham, John Bradley-West, Conleth Hill, Isaac Hempstead-Wright, Kristian Nairn and more attended the show's panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Friday, July 22. Rob McElhenney who was moderating the panel kicked it off with a parody starring him and his "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" co-star Charlie Day.
They were parts of the show in the video parody, poking fun at the
repeated line on the show, "Winter is coming." McElhenney asked, "When
the f***k is winter coming?" Day wasn't that eager to welcome the season
as he said, "I don't have any shoes that aren't open-toed!"
Addressing the production delay, co-showrunner David Benioff said,
"Winter is here and we gotta shoot where there are trees ... and we're
waiting to shoot later in the year so we won't finish shooting until
February and there's no way to get the show out there until summer."
While they always kept their lips tight, the stars dished on what they expected to see from their characters in season 7. Nathalie Emmanuel
said of Missandei, "It's hard to know what the future brings for her
but I think that she genuinely believes in Daenerys and her claim.
Daenerys has saved her life and liberated her and acknowledged her
brilliance... these are two women who respect and lift each other up.
It's a really sweet friendship... so I kind of hope that Missandei
continues to support Daenerys and they continue to be this girl power
couple."
Sophie Turner talked about Sansa's relationship with Jon Snow. "She
thinks they should be King and Queen of the North, I'm not so sure she's
so keen on the Iron Throne anymore," she said. "I'm not sure she thinks
Jon is capable of running Winterfell and the North... She doesn't think
he has the intellect, the knowledge and the experience that she has,
and I concur."
Asked who should sit on the Iron Throne, they all had different answers.
Liam Cunningham enthused, "Knowing the deranged minds we're dealing
with on this show... I have an image of a White Walker sitting on the
Iron Throne... The Night King with a leg over an arm smoking a cigar."
John Bradley-West who plays Samwell Tarly answered, "Just out of pure
loyalty, I'd say... Jon. Just because that means I may be there until
the end." Nathalie Emmanuel's rooting for Daenerys. Conleth Hill claimed
he knew, but he "can't say."
Turner wants "Littlefinger on the throne," which drew a loud boo from
the crowd. She tried to explain it, "I just think it'd be fun, it'd be
quirky, sadistic. We like that kind of thing. Come on we all watch 'Game
of Thrones'."
Isaac Hempstead-Wright wants "a four pronged Stark dream team.... With
Bran just sitting in the corner with a tree," while Kristian Nairn got
positive response as saying, "I think Westeros deserves someone with
honor and integrity so I think Brienne (Gwendoline Christie) would be good."
Amber Rose and Kanye West aren't really on good terms, but she sides with him anyway amid his and wife Kim Kardashian's nasty feud with Taylor Swift. The model publicly defended her ex-boyfriend against the pop superstar in the Friday, July 22 episode of her "The Amber Rose Show".
"I want to talk about Kim and Kanye's Snapchat," Rose said during her
new VH1 show, before recalling the infamous moment when West interrupted
Swift's speech during the 2009 MTV Video
Music Awards, "So, I'm not the biggest fan of Kanye... but I was next
to him at the VMAs that year. I remember the repercussions after that."
"I remember Taylor's mother and father coming up to us and saying, 'One
day Kanye, you'll have a daughter and somebody is going to do that to
you,' " she continued. "He was so remorseful. I mean he really felt so
bad, because it wasn't about Taylor. It was about Beyonce and her video ... he didn't want to interrupt Taylor - he didn't even know who she was at the time."
She went on explaining that things were so hard for West after the
incident and she knew he would never want to mess with Swift again. "It
was just a very hard time for him, and I was around to see that," she
shared. "I watched Lady GaGa cancel the tour. I watched people say that they did not want to work with him anymore because of it."
"And he really went through a lot of bulls**t and I know that Kanye
would never ever go through that again by not calling Taylor and say,
'Heads up, I'm about to go write this verse real quick. Just wanted to
make sure you're cool with it.' I know that about Kanye," she added.
Turns out, Rose didn't defend West because she cared about him. She
actually used the opportunity to call him out for not asking for
permission to use a naked wax figure of her in his "Famous" music video. "So, I say all of that to say, why didn't I get a phone call for using a naked wax figure in your video Kanye?" she asked. "I mean, Taylor gets a call but I don't get a call."
Rose then begged him to stop making headlines so she doesn't have to
talk about him again in the future. "Please stay the f**k out of the
news so I don't need to talk about your ass anymore," she added.
