86-year-old woman who was a former model tie the knot with her long-time friend

Except it's too late. The former model has just got married – at the age of 86.
Millie has become an internet sensation after tying the knot with her long-time friend, Harold Morrison.
The New Jersey bride wowed thousands on Facebook after she posted beautiful photographs of her wedding day.

Millie's dress, a stylish purple number, was designed by Marco Hall, who described her as “a regal lady” who “wows me each time she entered the room.”
The glamorous Millie, who modelled through the 1950s and 60s, told Marco that she wanted to go all out as it could be her "last hurrah".
Millie and her new husband Harold grew up together. They used to see each other at church.
When Millie's husband passed away, they built up a stronger connection – she drove Harold to church, and then later asked him to move in with her. Harold had fallen ill in his old age.
Harold decided to ask Millie to marry him once he'd recovered. He considered it to be the right thing to do in the eyes of God.

Thousands have been touched by Millie's story. And hundreds have expressed their admiration.
