Miss Great Britain: Zara Holland's mum is disappointed daughter's behaviour cost her the crown

Zara Holland's mum has admitted she was "really surprised" by her daughter's racy behaviour that got her stripped of the Miss Great Britain crown.
The Love Island star and model sparked controversy after she had sex on the ITV show, which cost her the beauty pageant title this month .
Now, her own mother has spoken out about the incident - which led to the likes of Vicky Pattison branding her "Miss BJ" - and described it as "out of character".
"I'm really surprised by Zara's behaviour - it's definitely out of character. But, although it's not her proudest moment, she hasn't committed any crime," Cheryl Hakeney told Heat magazine.
"I'm disappointed they took her title away. I hoped they would understand that all young women make mistakes."

Paris Jackson respond to fans backlashes for not sharing Father's Day post

Paris Jackson was once again annoyed by her social media followers. The daughter of the late music icon Michael Jackson vented her anger on Twitter after she got many backlashes for not posting a Father's Day tribute to her daddy.
After fans slammed the 18-year-old for not posting about Father's Day on Sunday, June 19, she took to Twitter to fire back at those whom she found annoying. "If you try to harass someone into posting online about a holiday (father's day), ask yourself if it's any of your business," she wrote.
Paris seemingly didn't want haters to judge her. Hours later, she added, "having 8 tattoos dedicated to someone overrules a single post about them on a stupid social media acc because of a holiday. #justmyopinion."
She also retweeted another user who said, "wait they're really giving you a hard time for not posting yesterday? Really? How you remember your father is your business."
Paris was 11 years old when Michael passed away. She has paid tribute to her father with several tattoos, including a tattoo of Michael's eyes and a group of animals. Previously on her 18th birthday, she revealed a new tattoo featuring the words "Queen of My Heart" in her late father's handwriting.

US Gun Control Bill: Kim Kardashian, John Legend and more outraged by Senate voting

Hollywood has reacted to the senate rejecting gun control bill offered in the aftermath of Orlando mass shooting. Kim Kardashian and John Legend are among those outraged by the result. Mia Farrow, Billy Eichner and Ilana Glazer has also expressed their frustration.
The gun control reform had four proposed amendments that would prevent terrorists on watch list to possess a gun and make the background check stricter. Despite polls showing that 90% of Americans supported the amendments, none of them passed in the senate house.
"So sad!" Kim wrote in a series of tweets. "The senate voted against background checks being needed to buy guns. So terrorists on fbi's wanted lists can legally still buy guns. Oh & mentally ill people can buy guns without a background check too. The fact that anyone can so easily access guns is so scary & after all of the devastating loss the Senate should have not failed us!!!"
In a similar tone, John Legend tweeted, "The foolishness and heartlessness coming from our Congress re: gun control is not surprising, but still so very disappointing and shameful. You don't get to talk 'tough on terror' if you're too afraid of the NRA to do anything about guns. You're a coward. We have to vote the GOP out of leadership of both House & Senate to get anything done on guns. Please vote in November."
Billy Eichner commented, "The Senate just voted 2 block gun safety reforms inspired by the Orlando massacre. If ur not outraged ur not a human being. This is insanity."

FBI release full transcript of 911 call from Orlando gunman, as he pledged allegiance to ISIS leader

The FBI released the full transcript of a 911 call made by the Orlando nightclub killer which confirms he did pledge allegiance to the leader of Islamic State.
Earlier today the FBI released a transcript of the 911 calls made by Omar Mateen as he launched the sickening attack inside Pulse nightclub.
However, a number of words were redacted with the transcript not showing who the killer pledged allegiance too.
Now, after pressure from a number of politicians, the full transcript has been released.
It shows that Mateen told 911: "I pledge allegiance to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi may God protect him [in Arabic] on behalf of the Islamic State."
The earlier version released by the FBI had deleted the name of the ISIS leader and Islamic State.
Mateen, 29, is said to have paused during a three-hour siege to telephone emergency dispatchers three times.
He told the operator he was Islamic soldier
He is also thought to have posted internet messages from inside the club professing his support for ISIS.
It emerged today that as well as threatening to strap bombs to hostages, he also told 911 operators he had a vehicle outside the club laden with bombs.
In a transcript of the conversation released by the FBI, Omar Mateen also demanded the US stop bombing Syria and Iraq.
When asked by a crisis negotiator to describe what he had done, the 29-year-old said: "No, you already know what I did.”
He then told them: "There is some vehicle outside that has some bombs, just to let you know.
“You people are gonna get it, and I'm gonna ignite it if they try to do anything stupid.'' No explosives were found on the nightclub premises by authorities.
He described himself as an "Islamic soldier’' before demanding the US military withdraw from their fight against terror group ISIS.
Over the next hour, Mateen had three conversations with crisis negotiators.
Mateen told the emergency dispatcher he was wearing an explosive vest like the kind they "used in France," apparently referring to the deadly assault in Paris last November by Islamic militants, according to the transcript.
According to the FBI, the first lasted nine minutes, the second 16 and the final call lasted three minutes.
"In these calls the shooter, who identified himself as an Islamic soldier, told the crisis negotiator that he was the person who pledged his allegiance to (omitted), and told the negotiator to tell America to stop bombing Syria and Iraq and that is why he was 'out here right now,'" investigators said in a statement.

Selena Gomez trips and falls down stairs on stage, days after Ex fell during his show

The 23-year-old took an embarrassing tumble during her gig in Tulsa on Sunday night – much like her ex boyfriend did in April and again in June.
During a rendition of her new single Kill 'Em With Kindness, the gorgeous brunette appeared to trip down a set of stairs.
But rather than jump up all embarrassed, the star stayed on the ground to laugh it off, telling her audience: "First fall of the whole damn tour".
Wearing a turquoise sequin leotard, Selena sent her arms flailing as she tripped over on her high heels – and her face was an absolute picture.
Selena's unfortunate tumble comes just days after her ex did the same during his showing in Saskatoon, Canada, last Thursday.
A frankly hilarious video surfaced of the Sorry hitmaker strutting his stuff down the stage catwalk before appearing to fall off it.
Taking to Twitter a couple of days later, Justin joked that he was "a cat. I got 9 lives. Lol".

Beyonce shows off incredible bikini body on holiday with hubby Jay Z in Hawaii

Beyonce managed to cause a world-wide meltdown with her album Lemonade, and she's nowhere near done with it yet.
The singer was snapped as she soaked up the sun in a skimpy multi-coloured swimsuit on holiday with hubby Jay Z this weekend in Hawaii - noticeably wearing a band of lemons in her hair.
She knows how to get tongues wagging.
While those famous lyrics were previously rumoured to be about Jay's alleged cheating, Beyonce couldn't have looked happier as she showed off the noticeable head-wear while putting on a loved up display with her other half.
Showing off her famous curves and slim figure, the star stood out a mile off in the long-sleeved cut-out one-piece, as she stopped to take selfies and share a kiss with her other half.
Adding to her accessories, she also rocked a necklace of lemons - in case anyone missed them.
Bey was later snapped donning a bright yellow kaftan for the stroll on the beach, keeping her hair naturally curly and wearing sunglasses.
Meanwhile Jay opted for navy shorts and a striped t-shirt, keeping things casual to let his wife steal the limelight.

video posted by Kim Kardashian, the 18-year-old star seemed to be getting close to the rapper, sparking speculations that the two have rekindled their romance.
The mother of two posted a video featuring Kylie's friend Harry Hudson, who was promoting Kimoji cellphone case, but she didn't realize that Kylie and Tyga appeared in the background. The makeup guru was seen having a conversation with the rapper and a man at North West and Penelope Disick's Disney princess-themed birthday party.
It's MediaTakeOut who first noticed that Kylie and Tyga were together in the background. The site later claimed that the couple has gotten back together, but they kept it a secret because they would reveal the reconciliation news on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians".

Call for reform of DMCA: Taylor Swift seeks proper compensation of Artists by YouTube

Taylor Swift now takes aim at YouTube too. Nearly two years after she made headlines for removing her
entire catalog from Spotify and criticizing them for not fairly compensating artists, the singer has joined a bunch of other musicians to sign a petition calling for a reform of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

The petition, organized by producer Irving Azoff, claims that YouTube has provided a "safe harbor" for copyright infringement under the current writing of the DMCA. The copyright law signed in 1998 by Bill Clinton has been allowing the website to serve copyrighted music without paying royalties to the artists or their labels.

"[The DMCA] has allowed major tech companies to grow and generate huge profits by creating ease of use for consumers to carry almost every recorded song in history in their pocket via a smartphone, while songwriters' and artists' earnings continue to diminish," the petition reads. "Music consumption has skyrocketed, but the monies generated by individual writers and artists for that consumption has plummeted."

Swift joined music's big names including Paul McCartney, U2, Lionel Richie and even her nemesis Katy Perry who also demand the DMCA to be amended. The petition will be published in issues of Politico, The Hill and other Washington D.C.-based publications throughout the week.
