Donald Trump says the police shooting of a black man in Milwaukee was 'JUSTIFIED'

Presidential hopeful Donald Trump says initial evidence pointed to the police shooting of a black man in Milwaukee being justified as he visited the city.
The Republican nominee has been vocal in his support of law enforcement during a spate of protests across the country over high-profile police shootings
Following his visit to the Wisconsin city, he told Fox News: "It's law and order. We have to obey the laws or we don't have a country.
"We have a case where good people are out there trying to get people to sort of calm down and they're not calming down and we have our police who are doing a phenomenal job."
Violent protests broke out in Milwaukee on Saturday night after the death earlier in the day of Sylville Smith, 23.
Authorities said Smith was stopped for acting suspiciously and then fled, and was shot by police because he was carrying an illegal handgun and refused orders to drop it.
Trump added: "But the gun was pointed at his (a police officer's) head supposedly ready to be fired. Who can have a problem with that? That's what the narrative is.
"Maybe it's not true. If it is true, people shouldn't be rioting."
Around two dozen peaceful protesters greeted Trump on Tuesday evening outside a Milwaukee theater where he taped a town hall session with Fox News.
Earlier on Tuesday, Trump held a roundtable discussion with Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke and Inspector Edward Bailey.
Clarke, who is black and spoke last month at the Republican National Convention, has been blunt in his assessment of the unrest, writing in an opinion piece for The Hill that "it was a collapse of the social order where tribal behavior leads to reacting to circumstances instead of waiting for facts to emerge."

I Am Cait: Caitlyn Jenner responds to cancellation of the docu-series after two seasons

"I Am Cait" is no more. After two seasons, E! has officially canned the docu-series that followed Caitlyn Jenner after her transformation. "After 2 amazing seasons of @IAmCait, it's time for the next adventure. Thank you E! & thank you to the best girlfriends I could ask for!" she tweeted following the announcement.
The show debuted to a strong rating last year but it gradually declined. The final episode aired in April. The cancellation rumor has been floating on the internet since March, but it was denied by both Caitlyn and E!.
The former athlete receives a lot of backlash over her preferred party Republican's views on LGBTQ. Although her solo show was abandoned, she is still expected to make regular appearances on TV through "Keeping Up with the Kardashians". She is also set to guest star on "Transparent".

A rep for E! said, "We are incredibly proud of the two seasons of 'I Am Cait', a groundbreaking docu-series that sparked an important and unprecedented global conversation about transgender people, their struggles and triumphs. Caitlyn and E! have mutually decided not to move forward with another season at this time. She will always remain a part of the E! family, and we look forward to continue following her journey as she appears on 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians.' "

Massive flooding: Taylor Swift donates $1 million to Louisiana for flood relief

Taylor Swift gives fans another reason to adore her. The always-generous pop superstar has just announced that she's donating a large amount of money to Louisiana which has been in crisis due to the massive flooding that has killed at least 11 people.

In a statement to The Associated Press, Swift said that she's giving away $1 million to Louisiana after receiving warm welcome from Swifties in the state when she kicked off the U.S. leg of her massive "1989 World Tour" last year.

"We began 'The 1989 World Tour' in Louisiana, and the wonderful fans there made us feel completely at home. The fact that so many people in Louisiana have been forced out of their own homes this week is heartbreaking," Swift shared.

"I encourage those who can to help out and send your love and prayers their way during this devastating time," the 26-year-old songbird added.

In addition to those who lost their lives, the worst flooding in Louisiana history has affected thousands of other people in the state. About 40,000 homes have been destroyed and more than 60,000 people have registered for disaster aid from the Federal Emergency Management Agency since the flooding hit the state, according to Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards' office.

Justin Bieber ignores Selena Gomez advances to reach out to him after social media spat

Selena Gomez is sorry for everything that recently happened between her and Justin Bieber. Following their highly-publicized Instagram spat, the former Disney darling has apparently tried to personally apologize to him, but he's been giving her the cold shoulder.

Citing sources close to the "Love Yourself" singer, TMZ reports that Selena has been trying to reach out to Justin, who's completely ignoring her. "We're told he feels like his ex won't let go, and she's constantly looking for ways to insert herself in his biz," claims the site.

The drama between Selena and Justin started last weekend, after he threatened to make his Instagram page private if his fans didn't stop posting nasty comments about his rumored new girlfriend Sofia Richie.

Selena later lashed out at him for the way he handled haters, and Justin found her criticism amusing since she also threatened to make a similar social media move earlier this year. Back in February, the "Good for You" hitmaker said she wanted to quit Instagram because everyone kept creating dramas. Justin reportedly didn't like that and he's "very over her" right now.

TMZ additionally says that Justin didn't accuse Selena of cheating on him with Zayn Malik. The 22-year-old Canadian's sources can confirm that an internet troll was the one responding to Selena's infidelity allegation.
After the fight, Justin deactivated his Instagram account on late Tuesday, August 16 and Selena kind of apologized to him on Snapchat. She posted a cryptic message that read, "What I said was selfish and pointless."
