Plane crash into house and bursts into flame as horrified neighbours looked on

The plane, thought to be a light aircraft, smashed into a house in Illinois this afternoon causing terrified neighbours to run from their homes.
Stunned passers-by told how they heard an explosion tear through the area just seconds before the plane slammed into a suburban home at around 11am local time.
Joliet Fire Department Battalion Chief Jeff Carey told local news no residents inside the home were injured at the time of the crash.
"They did a search of it and nobody was inside," Carey said.
Carey said he had no information about those inside the plane.
Shocking photographs from the scene showed a house lit up in flames as a smouldering pile of wreckage lies on the ground.
Witnesses believe the aircraft was small and unlikely to be a commercial jet but what appears to be plane wreckage can be seen in some of the images shared. The Joliet Police Department has asked local residents to stay away from the crash site in order that emergency services can carry out their work.
It posted a message on Facebook that read: "At approximately 11:15, a small plane went down in the area of Theodore and Brighton.
"Please seek alternative routes near Rt. 59 and Theodore, and Theodore and River Rd while the crash is investigated."

20-year-old mum gave birth to three sets of twins within the place of 26 months

A mum who has beat odds of 88,000 to one to give birth to THREE sets of twins in little over TWO YEARS says that she feels "blessed". Danesha Couch has shared pictures of her six adorable bundles of joy and says she feels like a "special lady".
The Kansas City, Kansas resident became a mum of two on April 13, 2014, when two little boys arrived very prematurely at just 26 weeks into the usual 40-week pregnancy.
Sadly, a placental abruption meant that little Desmond was starved of oxygen and died within minutes of his birth. His twin Danarius is now a healthy, happy two-year-old.
Another premature birth came on on May 29, 2015, at 29 weeks, when Delilah and Davina arrived - to be joined on June 17, 2016 - at 33 weeks - by Dalanie and Darla.
The 20-year-old, who is getting married in September, told Today that she is nicknamed 'Double Trouble' by her mum.
"Every time I get pregnant, it's double trouble," she laughs.
"I feel blessed because some women I've met in my lifetime can't even have kids," she added.
"I feel really lucky that I can."
The reason is, Ms Couch explains, because her body releases more than one egg at a time, although she has started a GoFundMe page to help with the financial burden of so many tots.
Ms Couch says her partner Presler, 25, helps her be the best mum she can to her five little ones in a family she describes as "a big pot of gumbo".

Post-menopause babies: Aged women can start having babies again, claim scientists

Women could start having babies post- menopause after medics claim to reversed its affects on fertility.
A team of researchers say they have found a way to restart periods by rejuvenating ovaries to release fertile eggs.
They claim the technique even worked on a woman who had not menstruated in five years.
The researchers say they have successfully fertilised two eggs using her husband’s sperm and the embryos are now on ice before they are implanted in her uterus.
Another 30 women who want children have had the treatment, which is said to have worked in two-thirds of cases.
Konstantinos Sfakianoudis, a gynaecologist at the Greek fertility clinic Genesis Athens said of the breakthrough: “It offers a window of hope that menopausal women will be able to get pregnant using their own genetic material.”
Fertility is thought to peak in the women’s early 20s then dwindle around the age of 50 when most experience the menopause.
It also comes early – before the age of 40 – for around 1 per cent of women, either because of a medical condition or certain cancer treatments.
But the team found ovaries can be restarted with a blood treatment used to help wounds heal faster called Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) which helps trigger growth of tissue and blood vessels.
When injected into older ovaries it was found to restart menstrual cycles, allowing the team to collect and fertilise eggs released, according to the New Scientist.
It is thought more studies will be done before it is truly known how affective the treatment is.
Roger Sturmey at Hull York Medical School in the UK said: “It is potentially quite exciting. But it also opens up ethical questions over what the upper age limit of mothers should be.”
He added: “Where would the line be drawn?"

Sleeping with a chicken next to your bed can protect one from malaria- Research

Sleeping with a chicken next to your bed can help protect against malaria, according to new research.
Scientists have shown that malaria-transmitting mosquitoes actively avoid feeding on certain animals, such as chickens, by using their sense of smell.
Odours emitted by species such chickens could provide protection for humans at risk of mosquito-transmitted diseases.
Researchers found that Anopheles arabiensis, one of the predominant mosquito species transmitting malaria in sub-Saharan Africa, avoids chickens when looking for creatures to feed on.
This suggests that unlike humans, cattle, goats and sheep, chickens are a non-host species for the insects, and that they have found ways of distinguishing them from their preferred types of food.
To find out which species the mosquitoes prefer, the team collected data on the population of human and domestic animals in three Ethiopian villages.
They also collected blood-fed mosquitoes to test for the source of the blood that the mosquitoes had fed on.
People living in the areas in which the research was conducted share their living quarters with their livestock.
The study, found that while An. arabiensis prefers human over animal blood when seeking hosts indoors, it randomly feeds on cattle, goats and sheep when outdoors, but avoids chickens in both settings.
Since mosquitoes select and choose between their hosts mainly by smelling them, scientists collected hair, wool and feathers from potential host and non-host species to analyse their smells.
Identifying certain odours that were only present in chicken feathers, researchers used these and other odours from all species to test their ability to repel mosquitoes from traps.
Traps were set up in 11 thatched houses for 11 days, and in each house a single volunteer aged between 27 and 36 slept under an untreated bed net.
Significantly fewer mosquitoes were caught in traps baited with chicken smells than in control traps and suspending a living chicken in a cage next to a trap had a similar repellent effect.
Because the mosquito feeds indoors and outdoors on various host species, it is difficult to control with existing methods, according to previous research.
The results of this study, published in the open access Malaria Journal, suggest that, in combination with other methods, the odours emitted by chickens and other non-host species could control the species of mosquito.
Corresponding author Rickard Ignell said: “People in sub-Saharan Africa have suffered considerably under the burden of malaria over an extended period of time.
Mosquitoes are becoming increasingly physiologically resistant to pesticides, while also changing their feeding habits for example by moving from indoors to outdoors.
“For this reason there is a need to develop novel control methods.
“In our study, we have been able to identify a number of natural odour compounds which could repel host-seeking malaria mosquitoes and prevent them from getting in contact with people."

19-year-old teenage girl born with no limbs lives her life in a plastic bowl used to move her around

A teenage girl born without limbs lives her life in a plastic bowl because of a mysterious condition that stopped her arms and legs developing properly.
Rahma Haruna is a bright, happy girl, despite being practically limbless and in constant pain.
The 19-year-old, from Kano, Nigeria, was born a healthy baby but at six months old her growth came to a sudden halt and she stopped hitting key development milestones.
Her mother, Fadi, said: "From six months when she learnt how to sit that was when it began. She didn't learn how to crawl.
"She started with a fever and that was it. Then stomach pains.
Then her body parts like hands and legs. She cannot use any if the ache strikes."
Rahma's family do their best to provide her with a fulfilling life and transport her around the village in a plastic bowl.
Rahma said: "They help me a lot. How do they? They give me anything I need."
She is particularly close to her 10-year-old brother Fahad, who dotes on his older sister.
Fahad said: "I help her in many ways. Bathing her is another thing I do. And taking her out everyday.
"I feel happy whenever I see people helping her. I like taking to our relatives. She feels happy when we visit them."
The cause of Rahma's condition is unknown, despite her family working hard to secure a diagnosis.
Rahma's father, Hussaini, said: "I've spent 15 years searching for the cure. I farm, go to the market and lots more looking for money to pay for her bills.
"I sold almost everything in my possession. I have spent more than one million naira (£2,600), so far. Only God knows the real amount of what I had spent."
Doctors have been baffled by Rahma's condition and some have even put it down to the teenager being struck down by a jinn - a supernatural being in Islamic mythology.
Rahma's family hope to get the attention of a charity or medical specialist who can help with the teen's daily pain.
Rahma recently received some generous gifts after being featured in the local press such as a donation of a wheelchair - and they have already made a big difference.Fahad said: "We once went to a supermarket and we met someone who bought her wheels.
"He snapped our photo and it was published in the local papers. Since then we have been getting help from people."
And despite the daily challenges Rahma faces, the brave teenager is full of hope for her future and dreams of opening her own shop.
She said: "I thank God in everything I do.
"I want to start a business. A grocery store and anything people buy, that is what I want."

Traditional Ritual: HIV-infected man is paid to have sex with young teenagers... they all find pleasure in it

A HIV-infected man in his 40s has told how he makes a living by being paid to have sex with children.
Eric Aniva, who would not reveal his exact age, lives in the Nsanje district of southern Malawi where he works a sex worker.
His work - known as a "hyena" - is embedded into the sacred traditions of his village.
There, young women are regularly "cleansed" by having sex with a hyena, sometimes as punishment for an offence such as having an abortion.
But for locals a hyena's main duty is overseeing a coming-of-age ritual, where girls take part in sex over a three-day period after their first menstruation.
Mr Aniva, speaking to the BBC, said: "Most of those I have slept with are girls, school-going girls.
"Some girls are just 12 or 13 years old, but I prefer them older. All these girls find pleasure in having me as their hyena.
"They actually are proud and tell other people that this man is a real man, he knows how to please a woman."
But with one in 10 Malawians having HIV, the work of hyenas is riddled with the risk of spreading serious disease.
And Mr Aniva himself has HIV, but continues his work regardless.
He is paid £3 to £5 by locals to perform the sex rituals.
And village elders, who are responsible for organising the "cleansing", insist that they are necessary to "avoid infection with their parents or the rest of the community".
Government officials do not endorse the traditions, but they do not actively campaign against them either.
Dr May Shaba, permanent secretary of the Ministry of Gender and Welfare, said: "We are not going to condemn these people. But we are going to give them information that they need to change their rituals."
One of the elders, Chrissie, said: "There's nothing wrong with our culture.
"If you look at today's society, you can see that girls are not responsible, so we have to train our girls in a good manner in the village, so that they don't go astray, are good wives so that the husband is satisfied, and so that nothing bad happens to their families."

Unarmed black therapist shot by police as he tried to calm autistic patient

This is the shocking moment an unarmed black therapist was shot by police as he desperately tried to calm his autistic patient . Charles Kinsey was hit in the leg by a bullet, despite his claims that he had been lying on the floor with his hands in the air throughout the entire incident.
The shooting occurred in North Miami, Florida, on July 18 after police responded to an emergency call from a member of the public, who claimed they had witnessed a man walking around with a gun threatening suicide.
Mr Kinsey had been looking after his 23-year-old patient, who was playing with a toy truck, after the man had run away from his group home.
He added that the toy truck was clearly visible to police at the time of the incident.
But as Mr Kinsey lay down on the ground, with his hands in the air, an officer shot him in the leg , despite him attempting to explain the situation.
In the footage, Mr Kinsey says: "All he has is a toy truck. A toy truck. I am a behaviour therapist at a group home."
He is then heard begging his patient to lie flat on the pavement and keep still.
Mr Kinsey told WSVN News : "I was really more worried about him than myself. I was thinking, 'as long as I have my hands up...they're not going to shoot me'. Wow, was I wrong.
"I said [to the officer], 'Sir, why did you shoot me?' And his words to me, he said, 'I don't know'."
He added: "My life flashed in front of me. When he hit me, my first thing I'm thinking, I'm thinking about my family."
Mr Kinsey's lawyer, Hilton Napoleon: "There's no justification for shooting an unarmed person who's talking to you and telling you that they don't have a gun, and that they're a mental health counsellor."
The case is now being investigated by North Miami Police and the State Attorney.

Art installation placed on Donald Trump Walk of Fame Star- Trump's border to stop illegal immigration

Donald Trump has had at least one of his dreams come true even before he's elected as the new President of the U.S. On Tuesday afternoon, July 19, street artist who goes by the name Plastic Jesus installed a mini wall around Trump's Hollywood Walk of Fame star.

"I built and paid for the wall myself. No Mexican money," the artist wrote on Twitter along with a photo of onlookers taking pictures of his street art installation. He also posted on Instagram, "Hollywood sight-seers on the famous walk of fame were confronted with an unusual edition to Trump's Famous Star. Someone had built a 6" tall grey concrete wall around it. Complete with 'Keep out' signs and topped with razor wire. The unofficial addition to the iconic star appeared early Tuesday afternoon, to the amusement of onlookers."
To ABC, the artist says he built the tiny wall "to air my opinions about this idea that Trump has about building a wall." The street artist, who says he's a former British journalist who has been living in Los Angeles for nine years, says while he's "got nothing against Donald Trump" personally, he thinks "his idea of isolating the U.S. is idiotic really."
"The U.S. is made up of immigrants - how you can build a wall to supposedly protect the nation is just crazy," he adds. "I'd say 99.9 per cent of the feedback I've got is good ... I have got the occasional insult but you kind of tend to expect those."
Plastic Jesus, who says he's against Trump's "policies and the culture he's trying to create in America," reveals that he "previously put a load of No Trump anytime signs. I put them in NY, Chicago, Washington DC and LA."
Throughout his campaign, Trump has expressed his idea to build a wall on the border between the U.S. and Mexico to stop illegal immigration and he insisted that "Mexico will pay for" it"

He's not Famous Enough: Kim Kardashian disapproves of Kendall Jenner and Jordan Clarkson union

Kim Kardashian appears to have problem with Kendall Jenner's boyfriend Jordan Clarkson. The 35-year-old reality TV star is said to be "firmly against the union" between her sister and the Los Angeles Lakers star because he's "not famous enough."

"He's a nice guy, but he barely has 150,000 followers on Twitter and she'd never heard of him until Kendall brought him up," a source allegedly told Life & Style magazine. "She told Kendall that dating Jordan isn't a smart move, and that she should be dating a famous rapper or musician if she wants to gain popularity."

Kendall and Jordan have been quietly dating for a few months now. They've been spotted together several times. Most recently, the 20-year-old Victoria's Secret model was seen among the crowd at a Lakers game and sitting just a few steps away from the NBA star who sat on the bench.

So, why is this a lot of people's first time hearing that Kim is against Kendall and Jordan's relationship? According to Gossip Cop, it's probably because the mother of two has never complained about her half-sister's lover. The site has set the records straight, saying that a rep for the family has told them the Life & Style report is completely "false."
