Qatar 2022 World Cup Stadium- Video

The striking design is meant to resemble an ancient dhow boat that Qataris traditionally used for pearl diving.

But when plans were released for a new 45,000-capacity stadium to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup the first reaction was something different entirely.

As Qatar unveiled the stunning blueprints for its new state-of-the-art climate-controlled Al-Wakrah sports stadium, design went viral.

Thousands of fans posted tweets likening it to a woman’s private parts – something that was almost certainly unintentional.

My Biggest Fashion Regret- Michelle Obama

When asked what her biggest fashion regret was during an interview with BET's "106 and Park" this week, US First Lady Michelle Obama said the shorts (pictured above) which she wore as she exited  Air Force One with her daughters during a family vacation in Arizona was her biggest fashion regret.

Mrs Obama said she regretted wearing it back in 2009 because of the backlash she received from people who felt it was inappropriate for a First Lady to dress like that.

She told BET,

"Because people were like, 'she's wearing shorts getting off of Air Force One. Sometimes I forget I'm the first lady and I'm running around in shorts."

Michelle said she won't wear shorts on Air Force One or out in public again.

Nigerian Transgender- claimed ‘I was jailed in Nigeria for being trans

Nigerian model and singer Miss Sahhara (pictured above - who was born male) claimed in an article yesterday to mark the Transgender Day of Remembrance that she was harassed and jailed in Nigeria for being a transgender and even attempted suicide but is now proud and free.

Miss Sahhara writes...
I am standing in front of the mirror looking at my reflection. Tears of joy trickle down my rouged cheek before going on stage.

I am in tears because I just can’t believe how realistic my dreams have become. I am a woman! Living my life freely. Accepted and respected for my achievements as a model and a performer.

My fellow transgendered sisters and brothers paved this way for me. They fought for acceptance, understanding and respect. Some died while fighting for what they believed in and others fell before their time due to hate, rejection and society’s unfairness. Every single story gave me strength to fight on and never to give up.

I wish I could tell the younger me who tried to commit suicide twice that life gets better and dreams come true.
