P. Diddy set to retire from Music and focus on acting

P. Diddy's music career is coming to an end. Gracing the cover of the June issue of Cigar Aficionado, the rapper opens up in an accompanying interview with the magazine about his plans to retire from the game to focus on acting.

"I'm going to put out my last album and devote 100 percent of my time to doing films," he tells the publication. "I want to stop at a great place. And a final album is a great place to stop. I want to take a victory lap, to do a world tour and really enjoy it one last time."

Diddy's final album will be "No Way Out II", which he announced in November. He hasn't given it an official release date, but he's promised he'll make the project "the most honest and best that I can. If I can be fearless with it, nothing can stop me."

He also expresses desire to make good music that will solidify his legacy. "When I'm gone, only the songs will survive. I know I'm making music that will live on. I don't go into the studio just to be hot or to hear myself on the radio," he says. "Michael Jackson, Tupac, Biggie - part of them lives on in their music, even though they're not here anymore. That's really deep, man. The only thing like that is religion."

Lionel Richie set to launch own cosmetic line HELLO

Lionel Richie is launching his own cosmetic line inspired by the title of his hit song "Hello". According to TMZ, the "Hello" hitmaker's company filed a trademark for the beauty line called "Hello by Lionel Richie" last week.

The copyright covers everything related to beauty including, cosmetics, face masks, body glitter, bath beads, hair bows, nail polish, etc. However, there's a separate trademark for products like candles and candle accessories.

Back in December, Lionel hinted at collaboration with Adele after their "Hello" mash-up went viral. "We are going to be doing something together," he told E! News at the time. "That's already almost in the works ... I can almost say that we are talking, but right now she has a mission. Her mission is [to] get her record out and go on tour, so until she finishes that cycle, that won't happen just yet. She is committed to that."

He said of the mashup, "Someone said to me, 'Lionel, Adele did 'Hello'' and I said, 'Retirement. I am done' ... Then, all of a sudden I realized this is not 'Hello.' She just used 'Hello.' You have no idea how many people called me on the phone and said, 'Are you going to let her get away with that? She stole 'Hello!' I said I don't own 'Hello.' I own the melody. What it did was it blew everything to the ceiling. If you say Adele and you say Lionel or Lionel and Adele...that's the best pairing you could have!"
