Transgender dad who started relationship with girlfriend as a female is now happy to be a great dad

Posing happily with their three-year-old daughter, dad Dade Barlow and mum Tiffany Grimes look like any other contented family.
But Dade was born female, and when the pair first got together in 2008 theirs was a lesbian relationship.
After realising he was transgender, Dade began his transition to becoming a man aged 29 in 2011 - just before Tiffany became pregnant using a sperm donor.
Life coach Tiffany, 41, says: "When Dade told me he wanted to be a man, we nearly split. I'd left my previous husband because I believed I was gay - but I loved Dade and stood by him. Now we have our daughter, we're happier than ever."
Electrical engineer Dade, 33 - who has had full gender reassignment surgery - adds: "I couldn't keep living a lie. I'm so grateful Tiffany supported me."

Dade, who grew up in Arizona, USA, and prefers not to reveal his female name, had always felt uncomfortable as a girl.
He says: "Mum called me her 'beautiful little butterfly,' which I hated. I dressed like a boy from the age of three and when I was older I wore a coat all year to hide my figure."
Dade, who dated both men and women, says: "I didn't understand my feelings. I thought maybe I was bisexual, but I was scared of being different so I dated men. I even got married aged 18, but we split seven years later after drifting apart."

Divorcee Dade started talking to Tiffany online in 2008 and they met up a few weeks later.
Tiffany says: "I'd been married before, too, but realised I was also attracted to women and we split. I came out to my family and when I met Dade as a woman I was instantly attracted to her - she was petite and sexy."
Six months later, the pair moved in together. But in 2010, Dade realised he was transgender. He says: "We were watching a TV documentary about being transgender and it finally dawned on me that's what I was. Initially I kept it to myself because I was terrified of losing Tiffany."
A year later, Dade confessed. He says: "I told Tiffany I wanted to be a man. She was shocked, but I explained I couldn't live a lie."

Tiffany says: "I thought it might be a phase, but I realised Dade couldn't be himself as a woman. The first six months were hard, but I still loved him and decided to support him."
In November 2011, Dade began hormone treatment. Tiffany says: "He developed body hair, his voice gradually deepened and he became more muscular. I worried I'd no longer be physically attracted to him as a man, but that wasn't the case.
"We'd already talked about having a baby using a sperm donor and decided to go ahead - so while Dade was transitioning I was pregnant with our daughter!"

In April 2012 Dade had a double mastectomy, and daughter Zane was born six months later. Dade went on to have full gender reassignment in October 2014 to create a fully-functioning penis.Tiffany says: "It was hard to get used to all the changes. Our sex life was affected, but that was also because I'd just become a mum. We had therapy to deal with it and now we have a healthy sex life. We married in 2011 - the year Dade transitioned - and we're happier than ever now."
The couple documented Dade's transition on YouTube and are now looking forward to the future.
She says: "We've gone through so much, but most people have been supportive. People don't even realise Dade's past and are shocked when they find out!
"I'm so proud of him - we're just like any other family."

The star is transported from a terrifying war scene, as explosions take off behind her.
Wearing thigh-high boots and a long coat, she looks super stylish for the shoot, staring off into the distance with a seductive pose.

Meanwhile another shows her swap to leather in a black and white photo, holding her arm up to hold a man's shoulder and hiding behind a huge face mask.

The original short story is by screenwriter Andrew Kevin Walker, and the narrative follows a group of warriors fighting for freedom of expression, with Rihanna in the lead role, in a far-off world dominated by thinking machines.

With lace-up corsets, motorbikes, and ripped tights, she looks smokin' in each photo, before stripping everything back and becoming Regal in a final cover photo.

Make-up artist transforms herself into terrifying characters capable of giving you nightmares

Jessy Malone, from Dublin, Ireland, wanted to create something other than just smokey eyes and 'eyebrows on fleek' - so she decided to try special effects make-up instead.

The 22-year-old, who trained in beauty at college and now works as a make-up artist, enjoys thinking up quirky and unconventional looks in her spare time.

Since starting her experiments two years ago she has created a 'crazy old woman' look - complete with no hair and half a face - and a makeover with gruesome teeth coming out of her cheek.

Jessy said: 'I get a lot of people telling me how weird I am for wanting to create these scary looks but I love it.

'I think it's really interesting and I wanted to do something different than the smoky eye and nice eyebrows look.

'At first I was a bit worried about being judged and hesitated to put them on my Facebook but then I just stopped caring because it's what I enjoy doing so I don't care how people react to it.

'We touched on it in college and I found it really interesting, I knew it was definitely something I'd want to experiment with.

'It takes a long time for me to make everything that I then put on my face but then it's only about an hour to two hours.'

Even though Jessy works full time as a make-up artist and works as a freelance on the side, she said her dream is now to do special effects make-up permanently.

She mainly uses latex, grease paints and clay to create her gruesome results and spends ages thinking of funny and scary looks she can replicate.

Jessy lives with her family and said they think she is mad when she walks out of her room made up in bizarre and horrific ways - but she absolutely loves their reactions.

Chelsea Midfielder John Mikel Obi officially changes his name

John Obi Mikel has been called many things by Chelsea fans during his decade at Stamford Bridge… many of which are far too rude for us to repeat.
However, while he may have got used to the abusive slurs hurled his way by a section of the Stamford Bridge support, it seems the Nigerian midfielder has finally had enough of people getting his ACTUAL NAME wrong.
That is why the Chelsea stalwart has just officially changed his name… to Mikel John Obi.
Confused? You will be.

For starters, it turns out that he was never actually called 'Mikel'. The Guus Hiddink favourite was born John Michael Nchekwube Obinna - 'Mikel' only became a thing when the Nigerian FA mistakenly used Mikel instead of Michael on his submission form for the 2003 FIFA Under-17 World Championships.
We did say this was going to get confusing…

Just to muddy the waters further, John (let's just call him John for now) liked the mistake.
So much so, that despite the fact it's not actually his name, he's been happy to let us all call him John Obi Mikel ever since he joined Chelsea in 2006.

Which we're going to have to stop doing… because has now officially changed his name to… Mikel John Obi.

Hate for mother: Plastic surgery addict admitted she won't stop surgery untill she no longer resembles estranged mum

A plastic surgery addict has admitted she won't give up going under the knife - whatever the dangers - as she is determined to overhaul her look so she no longer resembles her estranged mother.

Star, 30, from Birmingham, has already spent £50,000 on plastic surgery including cheek implants, lip fillers and a breast implants.

Even a botched nose job, that left her struggling to breathe, has not been enough to put her off cosmetic procedures - and she's wracked up 15 already.

Speaking of her 'horrendous' nose job, she told Channel 5's Body Freaks: 'I had a rhinoplasty septo and my whole nose has collapsed in the middle, I can't breathe that much.

'When I'm jogging and stuff, sometimes I can't breathe. Well, I can breathe but not like I used to before because my nostrils were bigger.' 

She added that she has learnt to live with not being able to inhale as well as 'it looks good, so that's all I'm bothered about.'

Star was called Stacey when she was born but she has ditched her old name as well as her natural features after her mother kicked her out of the family home when she was 17 and made her live in a hostel.

Star admitted she used to hate her own reflection as she looked so much like her mother and the surgery has been a way to distance herself from her painful past. 

She explained: 'I don't want to look anything like her. My dad used to say "you look like your mother".

'My old face represents all my past, all my bad luck, all my negatively.

'Me and my mother do not have a relationship in any kind of way. That's probably why I've changed my appearance.

'I had so much hate for her, I didn't want to look anything like her. I have achieved that. Now noone thinks she looks like my mum.'

Over the last ten years, Star said she has lost count of all the procedures she's had in order to 'recreate' herself, including make-up tattoos of permanent eyeliner and eyebrows.

She said she has gone so far she doesn't even recognise herself sometimes.

But she said she doesn't intend to stop yet and is next planning to have a chin implant.

She also wants to have a face lift before she's 35, liposuction and another boob job.

She said: 'I want to keep changing, I am never happy.' 

Her boyfriend, Sham, says he wishes she would stop.

He said: 'She is having all this work done to her body and face, she doesn't need it, she is a beautiful woman as she is. She is doing it to feel better about herself.'

Drunk on Plane: US Pilot tackle intoxicated man who attacked a female member of a flight crew

The pilot of an American Airlines flight from Lexington, Kentucky, to Charlotte, North Carolina, did not tolerate an intoxicated man who attacked members of a flight crew. 

Michael Kerr, 25, from Kentucky, was banned from flying after appearing in court on charges of being intoxicated and disruptive, assault on a female and communicating threats, according to the Charlotte Observer. 

He also face charges of interfering with the duties of a flight crew or attendant.

A video of the incident that occurred on July 21 showed the pilot tackling Kerr to the floor yelling: 'You don't put your hands on my flight attendant!'

In the video, the pilot and a female flight attendant patiently asked Kerr to have a seat. 

Kerr was attempting to exit the aircraft when the flight crew tried to get the insolent man to calm down. 

'Move, move, move,' Kerr said repeatedly as the flight attendant and pilot stood in the aisle blocking him from leaving.

The pilot said: 'Take a seat. I said take a seat sir.'

Kerr then told the pilot that he didn't want to take a seat and the pilot said: 'I don't care what you want to do, you're going to take a seat right now.'

They went back and forth with Kerr until he pushed through them and shoved the flight attendant to the floor.

The pilot then tackled the man to the floor and restrained him.  

As Kerr was being restrained on the floor he warned the pilot that he'll regret the move when the incident is put on Facebook.

He is out on $25,000 bond, according to the US Attorney's Office.

The court ordered that Kerr cannot fly on commercial airlines and must not make contact with the flight attendant he attacked, according to the Observer.

An FBI affidavit obtained by the Observer said that Kerr remained standing and when an attendant interceded, he threatened to break her jaw.

Kerr, who had three Jack Daniels during the flight, refused to sit down as the plane taxied to the gate. 

The document said he kicked one attendant in the leg and shoved another to the floor. 

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police took Kerr into custody.
