Colombia star Cuadrado joined Chelsea for £26million in January but has struggled to make an impact so far.
The winger has started just twice and played only 175 minutes since his big-money move from Italian side Fiorentina.
His slow start is in stark contrast to the man he replaced at Stamford Bridge, Mohamed Salah.
Salah has been an instant hit since going the other way to join Fiorentina on loan from Chelsea.
The Egyptian has bagged six goals in just 11 appearances leaving many Blues fans questioning the wisdom of the swap.
But Cuadrado insists he has no regrets about joining Chelsea and just needs time to adapt to life in a new city and league.
He said: “I am happy. I am adapting to the city, the game and the new teammates.
“The Premier League is a little bit different to the Italian league. The transition from defence to attack is very fast.
“After a change a player needs to be patient. I have just started. I need to work hard and when the chance arrives be ready for it.”
