'A piece of meat': Dying mother-of-four Claudia Silva Ferreira is dragged behind a police car after being hit in the crossfire during a gun battle between police and drug traffickers

This is the horrifying moment the body of a dying woman is left dragging along the road hanging out the back of a police car.

Claudia Silva Ferreira was hit in crossfire during an alleged exchange of bullets between police and traffickers in Morro da Congonha favela in Madurai, Rio de Janeiro on Sunday morning.

The innocent 38-year-old mother of four, who had gone out to buy bread for her family, was alive when her body was allegedly 'thrown like a piece of meat' into the boot of the police car by three officers who have since been arrested.

Didier Drogba among the greatest - Jose Mourinho

Didier Drogba among the greatest - Jose Mourinho

Jose Mourinho has described Didier Drogba as “one of the most important players in the history” of Chelsea and tipped the striker to return to the club “one day.”

Drogba will take to the Stamford Bridge pitch for the first time since leaving the club in 2012 when Galatasaray take on Chelsea in their Champions League last-16 second leg on Tuesday.

The Ivory Coast striker won ten major trophies in eight years with the Blues -- including scoring the winning penalty in the 2012 Champions League final with his last kick of a ball for the club.

When specifically asked about the player’s future, Mourinho initially said it wasn’t the right time to talk about it but did float the prospect of a return.

“I don't think it's a moment to answer that,” Mourinho told reporters at his prematch news conference.  “Tomorrow is a big game. I don't think it's the right moment to think about it. He's a Galatasaray player. We know he's a free agent and finishes his contract at the end of the season, but I don't think it's the right moment to think about it.

Paramount Denies The Pope Canceled Meeting With 'Noah' Star Russell Crowe

Paramount Denies The Pope Canceled Meeting With 'Noah' Star Russell Crowe

The Pope did not cancel a meeting with "Noah" actor Russell Crowe, director Darren Aronofsky, and Paramount vice chair Rob Moore, despite rumor to the contrary. "A meeting was never scheduled," a spokesperson for the movie studio slams down the report.

"The meeting was tentatively on the calendar for 8:30 A.M. Wednesday in the VIP section so the pope could figuratively lend a blessing to the $125 million biblical epic," Variety reported. The photo-op was allegedly canceled due to concerns that words would leak ahead of time.

In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, Paramount explained that Crowe did want to attend Wednesday's papal general audience in St. Peter's Square while he was in Rome for press junket and the movie's Italian premiere on Tuesday, March 18, so they reached out to the Vatican to propose a meeting.

United Board turning against David Moyes

United Board turning against David Moyes

Key Manchester United boardroom figures have now turned against David Moyes, as the prospect of the manager getting sacked has been properly raised for the first time.

The Glazer family owners are now more open to the idea of a change of manager, although they presently remain behind Moyes, but the next week could prove decisive, sources said. Over that time, United must overturn a 2-0 deficit in the Champions League against Olympiakos, before facing an awkward trip to West Ham United and then a potentially daunting second derby of the season against Manchester City.

While qualification for the quarter-finals of the Champions League would be seen as a huge positive and possibly change the entire dynamic of his job, an elimination followed by poor performances in the two games after that could well bring the pressure to breaking point. The Glazers are said to have become very "nervous" about the nature of recent performances, let alone the results, with a nadir coming in the 3-0 home defeat to Liverpool. Some United officials now openly maintain that a managerial change is needed.

Kanye West Gets 2 Years Probation, Community Service for Attacking Paparazzo

Kanye West got 24 months probation and 240 hours of community service for attacking a paparazzo. The 36-year-old rapper's lawyer pled no contest on his behalf to one misdemeanor count of battery against the photographer on Monday, March 17.

The case stemmed from an August incident where a shutterbug was trying to get a picture of West at Los Angeles International Airport. The paparazzo, named Daniel Ramos, filed a lawsuit against him in 2013.

"The lawsuit alleges that on July 19, 2013 Daniel was outside of the Tom Bradley Terminals International Arrivals at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on July 19, 2013, with a number of other professional photographers," Ramos' attorney Gloria Allred detailed the lawsuit in a statement after the verdict was reached.

"Daniel and the photographers were gathered on the sidewalk area in front of LAX to photograph celebrities

Chris Brown Kept in Jail Till April for Violating Rehab Rules

Chris Brown will stay in jail until late April without the possibility of being bailed out, a judge has ruled on Monday, March 17. The singer was arrested on Friday for violating his rehab rules and getting kicked out of the treatment facility.

The case was stemming from the 2009 attack that Brown committed against then-girlfriend Rihanna. He was sentenced to probation after the incident but he was involved in a fight in Washington D.C. late last year and told to stay for three months as inpatient rehab. His rehab stay was extended on February 28 after the judge received the report that he was only recently making progress.
