Ray J has defended pal Chris Brown after he allegedly pulled a gun out on a model at his mansion in Tarzana, Los Angeles.
Kim Kardashian's ex was partying at the star's bachelor pad on Tuesday before the row kicked off and the singer ended up in an 11-hour stand-off with police.
Beauty
queen Baylee Curran claimed he pointed the weapon at her head after she
admired a flashy necklace belonging to his friend.
In a video, Ray J said: "People can take a false story and blow it up into something way more than what it should be."
According to records from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Brown was released on £250,000 bail today.
The
star's attorney Mark Geragos tweeted shortly after: "Thanks to everyone
for their support and well wishes. Chris is out and well. The
allegations against him are demonstrably false."
The full
transcript from Ray J's video reads: "I'm real upset about today … I'm
not happy with how things are handled and how people can take a false
story and blow it up into something way more than what it should be.
"We got, just positive people around and you look outside and it's
like a war zone for no reason, for something some stranger said about
something that don’t got nothing to do with nothing.
"And to
react like that, so fast without really knowing the facts … It’s just
not right. It shouldn't be like this. I support the homie Chris [Brown]
and I support the whole movement…
"This sh-t gotta change. It
can’t be like this every time somebody yippin' and yappin' trying to get
an extra buck. It turns around and it’s all bad on us. It ain't cool."
The niece of rapper T-Pain, Javona Glover, was fatally stabbed at a
Walgreens drugstore in Florida on Tuesday morning, the star has
confirmed.
The 23-year-old mother of a two-year-old was
reportedly still alive when Tallahasse police arrived on the scene at
around 10:15am, where they found the victim bleeding heavily.
While she was transported to hospital, Javona later sadly died of her injuries, local media reported.
Faheem Rashad Najm, better known by his stage name T-Pain, hails from
Tallahassee and later took to Twitter to beg anyone to help find his
niece's killer: "The police are still lookin for the coward ass n****
that just killed my niece at Walgreens in Tallahassee. If you got info
pls help us out! (sic)
He later shared a photo of his beloved niece on Instagram.
The 30-year-old double Grammy Award winner released his debut album
Rappa Ternt Sanga in 2005 and is best known for appearing on Flo Rida's
huge hit single Low, which hit the top of the charts around the world.
He also appeared on Chris Brown's 2008 track Kiss Kiss, Kanye West's the Good Life and Blame It alongside Jamie Foxx in 2012.
According
to the Tallahassee Democrat the suspect was a 5-foot, 9-inch black male
weighing about 160 pounds and was described as wearing a black T-shirt
and white tennis shoes.
According to records from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, he was released on £250,000 bail today.
The
star's attorney Mark Geragos tweeted shortly after: "Thanks to everyone
for their support and well wishes. Chris is out and well. The
allegations against him are demonstrably false."
He is now expected to appear in court on September 20, the records show.
It comes after he was held on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
Officers
surrounded the singer's home on Tuesday following a pre-dawn 911 call
from a woman - later named as beauty queen Baylee Curran - who claimed
he had pointed a gun at her.
Brown, 27, denies any wrongdoing and said on Instagram posts that he
had woken up to find police outside and that they would need a warrant
to enter the Tarzana property.
Lieutenant Ramirez said earlier:
"This morning, around three o'clock, officers responded to a radio call
for a woman requiring assistance.
Thanks to everyone for their support and well wishes. Chris is out and well. The allegations against him are demonstrably false #TeamBreezy
Drake and Rihanna are officially dating, according to a new ET Online
report. After months of rumors, a source has confirmed to the
publication that the Canadian rapper and the Bajan beauty are
"definitely a couple."
"They are fully dating," the source says, adding that "no one really knows how long they have been 'official.'
" The insider goes on sharing, "They just decided to let it become a
thing instead of hiding it from everyone. They're happy."
Drake and Rihanna have never confirmed their relationship status though
the Toronto native has numerous times declared his love for her. Most
recently, he praised his "Work" collaborator while presenting her with
the coveted Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at last weekend's 2016 MTV VMAs.
"She's someone I've been in love with since I was 22 years old," he told
the audience. "She's one of my best friends in the world. All my adult
life, I've looked up to her, even though she's younger than me. She's a
living, breathing legend in our industry."
Following their appearance at the annual awards event, the two were
spotted looking so in love at a VMA after-party at Up & Down
nightclub. "They walked in together and never left each other's side all
night," another source told ET Online.
"He was so attentive to her. His eyes were never off her. They were
necking a lot. They would hug and he would kiss into her neck."
Jaden Smith and Willow Smith are considering retirement from showbiz within the next 10 years. In an interview with Pharrell Williams for Interview Magazine's latest issue, the siblings discuss where they see themselves in ten years.
Jaden says he wants to be "gone," while Willow sees herself "in the
mountains somewhere in a tent cooking a squirrel." The 18-year-old actor
asks his sister, "Not a squirrel, Willow! Why!? Why a squirrel?" She
replies, "I don't know! Because that's probably going to be the only
food I have."
Jaden jokes, "Nah, you're going to be a vegetarian. You'll be surviving
off grass in the morning." Willow responds, "Hopefully. Yeah, bro! I
want to retreat back to living off the land and just being in nature,
experiencing life in the most pure, natural way possible."

During the interview, Jaden and Willow also talk about their parents Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith.
"Growing up, all I saw was my parents trying to be the best people they
could be, and people coming to them for wisdom, coming to them for
guidance, and them not pushing themselves on a pedestal, but literally
being face-to-face with these people and saying, 'I'm no better than
you,' " Willow shares, "They always give back what people give to them."

"What my parents have given to me is not anything that has to do with
money or success or anything that society says people should be focusing
on - it's something spiritual that only certain people can grasp and
accept. And that's how I act and move in the world today," she
continues.
Jaden says, "I 100 percent agree with Willow on that one. My parents are
definitely my biggest role models. And that's where me and Willow both
pull all of our inspiration from to change the world. It all comes from a
concept of affecting the world in a positive way and leaving it better
than it was than when we came. I feel like that enters into all types of
different areas because there are so many different outlets that life
has to offer for us."

"That goes into technology, into music. That goes into science, into spirituality, into education," he adds,
"Where me and Willow come from, a lot of it is trying to make society
more efficient, so that kids don't cry, like, 'Why do I have to go to
school?' Instead, kids are like, 'Yeah! I'm so glad to go to school! I'm
a better person than I was yesterday, and I can help people.' "
When Pharrell jokes that the siblings are like "identical twins," Willow
says, "Yeah. It's crazy, the sibling dynamic. I could've spent my
entire childhood like, 'I have to love this person.' And it becomes a
chore. But our parents were never like, 'You have to love them.' It was
more like, 'You have your life. He has his life. And when you guys want
to come together, when you guys want to commune, that's up to you.' And
throughout us realizing ourselves and realizing each other, we just opened our eyes and were like, 'Damn, you are the yin to my yang.' "
