Paul Pogba's world record move to Manchester United appears to have finally been confirmed... by launderette workers. The Frenchman, who will cost the Old Trafford club a £90million transfer fee and a further £20million in agent fees, was in Manchester today for his medical.
Boss Jose Mourinho expects the tests to be a formality and is due to meet the France star tomorrow ahead of his unveiling.

But three workers at a local launderette beat the Portuguese to it after Pogba wandered into their place of work.
The 23-year-old posed for a picture with the workers while wearing United's 2016/17 training kit.
United's total outlay on signing Pogba is expected to hit £110million because his agent Mino Raiola is due £20million.

The sum is even more staggering because United received just £800,000 in compensation when Pogba quit United to join Juventus on a Bosman four years ago.
United have still to agree personal terms with Pogba, but this is expected to be a formality and it is understood he will sign a five-year deal worth an initial £220,000-a-week.
Pogba's transfer could be completed tomorrow afternoon and Mourinho is considering handing him his debut against Bournemouth on Sunday.

Dropout law student turn porn star achieves her dream as she skydives completely naked

A promising law student who dropped out of uni to pursue a career as a porn actress has achieved another 'dream' - by taking part in a naked skydive.
The 22-year-old, Angelina Doroshenkova, jumped from an aeroplane above one of the airfields in the Moscow Oblast region.
She said that it was not only a personal challenge but also a challenge to prove to others that porn stars are capable of much more than what their profession requires.

She explained: "I always dreamt of doing this! And now I finally did it! I want everyone to know that the porn industry is rich in talented and brave people, capable of many things!
"I’ll also climb a mountain naked, and get to the bottom of the sea naked, you’ll see!"

The young woman was in headlines last year when she gave up studying her law degree to become a full-time porn star.
She had studied in the Russian city of Smolensk and even reportedly had a promising legal career ahead of her.

But after she graduated high school with top marks, won several school competitions in many subjects, and was admitted to the best university in Moscow, she "got bored" and went into the porn industry instead.

Man shares list of lay down rules his girlfriend gave him before his trip to Spain

As many women know, the idea of a 'lads' holiday' can leave you full of dread.

But one woman came up with a handy solution by creating a 'rule book' for her boyfriend ahead of his trip to Magaluf, Spain, with his friends. 

Whitney Travers, from Edinburgh, curated a hilarious 10-step rule book for boyfriend Kieran Lumsden ahead of his jaunt abroad in the hope of putting him off getting up to anything mischievous.

Kieran, who works in a supermarket and is currently sunning himself on the Spanish island with his friends, shared the book on Twitter with the caption: 'Whitneys took psychoness to a new level' [sic].

The book, which she created using colourful pens, glitter and palm tree illustrations, began with rule 1: 'Make sure your phone is charged at ALL times! Phone me at least once a day (2 mins)'.

Her second rule quite clearly conveyed her opinion on cheating - and she even made threats, writing: 'No girls whatsoever. Don't look. Don't talk. Do not touch!!!!!! (Cheat and I will destroy everything Celtic, I will also make your life a living hell. Kim will be told too.)'

Rule three followed a similar theme, with Whitney warning her boyfriend: 'Do not follow girls on social media.'

She also warned him against getting any inkings, stating: 'TATTOO = NAW, you'll be checked when you get home.'

Showing her caring side, rule five stated: 'DON'T mix drink! "DRUGS ARE FOR MUGS".'

Rules six, seven and eight reverted to theme of avoiding the opposite sex, with Whitney writing: 'If on boat party, no drinking games with the opposite sex', 'stay in your own bed!' and 'Dinny buy girls drink. That money can be spent on me.'

She also reminded Kieran to text 'Kim' - presumably his mother - every day. 'Text Kim every day! She'll be worrying,' she said.

Rule ten, again, warned her beau against coming into contact with members of the opposite sex. 'You tell every girl about me ok - if someone flirts, WALK AWAY,' she stated.

Whitney signed off her rules with one final word of warning, writing: 'NO PHOTOS WITH RANDOM GIRLS OR SC STORIES', and added: 'Have a nice flight, stay safe.'

Kieran's post has garnered 12,000 likes and over 5,000 retweets with men and women sharing differing views. 

One man wrote: 'She's lucky she's no single after that tae be honest' and another added: 'she's got you wrapped up' [sic].

Other men tagged their girlfriends in the post, with many writing: 'This is something you'd do'.

Women who clearly empathised with Whitney wrote: 'Why didn't I think of that' and 'Smart gal that'.

Oscar Pistorius has rubbished claims that he tried to kill himself in prison cell

Oscar Pistorius denied trying to commit suicide in jail yesterday (SUN) as it was revealed he is ‘very upset’ in solitary confinement and has ‘suffered enough’.
The disgraced Olympian, who is serving a six year prison sentence for murdering girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, was rushed to hospital on Saturday with slashed wrists.
Officers who searched his cell reportedly found blades, but Pistorius and his family denied he was trying to commit suicide. instead insisting he had fallen out of bed.
The latest drama took place as his legal team attacked the prosecution’s decision to appeal his prison sentence for murder.
They claim Oscar’s case has become “too personal” for prosecutor Gerrie Nel.
A defence source said: “Any decent human being will say the man has suffered enough, let this verdict lie.
They also revealed how the 29-year-old Paralympian was “very upset”, languishing in a tiny cell in solitary confinement.
The source said: “Oscar is back in exactly the same cell, we all know he’s suffering enough but tell Nell that, he doesn’t know that, it’s become too personal for him.
“I feel enough is enough. I don’t know what he has against Oscar, I’m very disillusioned about it.
“He’s in (his cell) more or less 24 hours a day, they open the cell for about six hours but just for him to walk up and down the passageway, there’s nothing there.
“He can’t go into a recreational hall or a dining room or an exercise yard or a gym because they are keeping him away from the other prisoners entirely because they are so concerned about his safety.
“They have a tiny room for him with two of three small training things, nothing much, very limited equipment, but he cant go to the big gym.
“There is no TV, no desk, he only has a narrow bed and nothing else. he has no window, no natural light, he doesn’t see any natural light. His cell is 3 metres by 3 metres.
“He’s accepted the new sentence but he’s not a happy man. The cell is very lonely.”
A prosecution source said in response: “No comment. We are doing what we are entitled to do under the law.”
On Saturday, warders were called to the athlete’s single cell in Kgosi Mampuru II prison.
He told them he had fallen out of bed and was checked by the prison medical team before being taken to a nearby hospital. He was treated under heavy guard then sent back to prison that evening.

82-year-old Emperor of Japan has hinted he wants to step down in a rare TV address

Akihito - who has been on the throne for 27 years - warned he may be too frail to carry on after having prostate cancer and heart surgery.
It is a landmark move for the oldest imperial family in the world, which was founded by Akihito's ancient ancestor Jimmu 1,400 years ago.
But modern Japanese law has no system for the 125th emperor to abdicate, meaning he could be caught in limbo.

He did not directly mention abdication in his speech but hinted strongly in the 10-minute message that he wanted to quit.
The move is in stark contrast to the Queen, who at 90 is Britain's longest-serving monarch and still going strong.
According to an official translation handed to the BBC, he said: "I am now more than 80 years old and there are times when I feel various constraints such as in my physical fitness.
"In the last few years I have started to reflect on my years as the Emperor, and contemplate on my role and my duties as the Emperor in the days to come.

"It was some years ago, after my two surgeries that I began to feel a decline in my fitness level because of my advancing age, and I started to think about the pending future, how I should conduct myself should it become difficult for me to carry out my heavy duties in the way I have been doing, and what would be best for the country, for the people, and also for the Imperial Family members who will follow after me.
"I am already 80 years old, and fortunately I am now in good health.

"However, when I consider that my fitness level is gradually declining, I am worried that it may become difficult for me to carry out my duties as the symbol of the State with my whole being as I have done until now.
"When the Emperor has ill health and his condition becomes serious, I am concerned that, as we have seen in the past, society comes to a standstill and people's lives are impacted in various ways.

"The practice in the Imperial Family has been that the death of the Emperor called for events of heavy mourning, continuing every day for two months, followed by funeral events which continue for one year.
"These various events occur simultaneously with events related to the new era, placing a very heavy strain on those involved in the events, in particular, the family left behind.
"It occurs to me from time to time to wonder whether it is possible to prevent such a situation."
