Beyonce Knowles
is Vogue's cover girl for the highly-coveted September issue. "There's
only one September Issue, and there's only one @beyonce," the magazine
says on Instagram in a caption accompanying a picture that shows the singer giving a come-hither look at the camera.
Photographed by Mario Testino,
Queen Bey sports wet hair and flaunts her curves in a figure-hugging
dress by Marc Jacobs. "The word diva is used for so many female
performers, and it often means they have reputations for being
difficult, but she exudes charm and a lovable quality," the designer says.
For the spread in the inside pages, the mother of one shows off her
killer body in haute couture gowns by several other famed designers like
Versace, Stella McCartney,
and Givenchy. "Her appeal crosses art forms, genders and generations,"
McCartney gushes. Givenchy's Ricardo Tisci adds, "There is a magnetic
presence to her."
