Daphna Nachminovitch, PETA's Senior Vice President of Cruelty Investigations, tells Wenn, "Whether or not reports are true that Justin Bieber purchased a puppy from a pet store for $600, PETA wants to remind everyone that when you buy a dog or cat from a pet store or breeder, you sentence an animal in a shelter to death."

Everything I'm saying that’s not allowed, soak it in right now. This might be the last time y’all hear me talk s*** for a long time. Might be another like 6 months, at least. You’re just gonna have to run back the interviews and sh*t if you wanna hear some realness!

I’m not [going to] ever bring up Nike again, and the only way I’ll bring them up is in a positive light … I’ll never bring up the Grammys again in a negative light, because I actually appreciate the 21 Grammys that I did win.”

Photos Showing How Christmas was Celebrated Around the World

Photos Showing How Christmas was Celebrated Around the World

In America, we typically think of Christmas as a celebration of snow, Santa, warm fires, and a beautifully decorated tree. But the traditions look different, depending on where you are in the world.

While some prefer eggnog, others prefer a pint of Guinness; while some call him Santa Claus, others know him as 'Sinterklaas.' Here's a look at 15 unique ways in which Christmas is celebrated around the world:

1. Japan

Forget Santa Claus!

When it comes to Christmas in Japan, Colonel Sanders wears the red suit. Although Christmas is not a national holiday, Kentucky Fried Chicken is the Christmas meal of choice on the big day, thanks to the "Kurisumasu ni wa kentakkii!" (Kentucky for Christmas) campaign back in 1974. The fast-food chain is so popular during the holiday season that they have a special Christmas countdown on their website and recommend customers to place their orders two months in advance!

2. Ireland

There's nothing like the Christmas season to bring out Irish festivities, reunions, celebrations at midnight mass, and week-long partying. One of Ireland's many traditions is placing a lighted candle in the window on Christmas Eve to welcome Mary and Joseph in their biblical search for an inn.

Magneto Was Supposed to Die in 'X-Men: The Last Stand'

There were originally more victims in "X-Men: The Last Stand" where Professor X was disintegrated by Phoenix. In a storyboard obtained by Comic Book Movie, Magneto was supposed to meet his demise as well.

In the movie's final version, however, Magneto was saved due to "the cure" Beast injected on him. Magneto originally opposed the serum which was invented by pharmaceutical company Worthington Labs to suppress mutants' X-gene.

Moreover, the film featured the final battle taking place at Alcatraz Island but the storyboard showed Washington DC setting.

Brett Ratner directed the third "X-Men" film after Bryan Singer who helmed the first two films left the franchise to make "Superman Returns". Cyclops also became Dark Phoenix's victims, while Mystique and Rogue were among those taking "the cure" either forcibly or voluntarily.
Patrick Stewart starred as Prof. X, Anna Paquin as Rogue, Kelsey Grammer as Beast, Ian McKellen as Magneto, Rebecca Romijn as Mystique, Famke Janssen as Phoenix, and James Marsden as Cyclops. Released in 2006, the film got mixed reviews but gained success at box office.

"Hours" was released a couple of weeks after Walker died.

How A Cappella Took Over the Music World

There is something inherently lame about a cappella singing. This may be because of its roots in barbershop or the high technical barrier required for entry. Or maybe it’s the fact that a group of people standing around mimicking instruments is kind of ridiculous. How could voices ever stand up to actual instruments, especially in the face of an era benchmarked by electronic sound? That said, what a cappella groups can do is undeniably distinct. When done well, a cappella definitely does stand up. As we move through the 2010s a cappella is seeing its moment in the sun. Popular culture is finally catching up to what so many fans already knew: a cappella is worthy of our iPods, our downloads, our views. If it weren’t for the internet and viral videos, the genre would not be nearly as successful.

Like many modern trends, the internet played a huge role in the birth of a cappella’s popularity. The form was popular on college campuses for decades, but the web allowed for the rapid spread of ideas, technique and music. Suddenly schools across the country — and the world — could see what other talented students were doing and replicate it. Portals like YouTube and iTunes became indispensable for the dissemination of a cappella. It was only a matter of time until the mainstream media took notice and saw dollar signs.

NBC premiered The Sing-Off, a limited-run reality competition series, in December of 2009. The show pitted 10 a cappella groups ranging from high school to professional in a head-to-head battle for the title of the ultimate team. A cappella was getting its first shot at major exposure. The show constantly reminded viewers the groups were only doing this with their voices, and the public responded by showing up in big numbers.

The Most Cheerful Drone Video Ever

This might be one of the most unique Christmas videos we've seen this year. Artists George Zisiadis and Mustafa Khan decked a mini "drone" with glittering garlands and sprigs of mistletoe, before flying it over the heads of unsuspecting passerby in San Francisco's Union Square. Couples (or would-be couples) — both young and old, gay and straight — adorably obliged the drone's demands. Some even signaled for it to fly their way.

Zisiadis' imaginative and subversive works seek to alter people's relationships to their environments for the better, and are a nice shift from the popular tone of technological paranoia. Zisiadis told PolicyMic, "My work is about playfully re-imagining the world around us. Drones have been causing all sorts of paranoia lately and I wanted to reframe them from being something scary and ominous to be being fun and human. Its not about the technology, its about how we use it." It's certainly one way to get people into the holiday spirit.

Zisiadis' past projects include the world's first interactive balloon immersion, a bubbleverse, and cards placed on public transit that encourage people sitting next to each other to strike up a conversation. More whimsical ideas for city transformation can be found in his book Urban Imagination, out now.

PRINCE HARRY: 1984

Prince Charles and Princess Diana's second son takes the spotlight, posing with his mum and dad after his Dec. 21 baptism at St George's Chapel in Windsor, England, performed by the then Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Robert Runcie.
