Jose Mourinho is expected to shatter the world record transfer fee to sign the France midfielder.
It is understood United have agreed personal terms worth £250,000-a-week to re-sign the player they let leave for just £800,000 four years ago.
But an agreement between the Premier League giants and the Italian champions has not officially been struck - and Allegri is refusing to discuss to matter any further.
"I am not going to talk about the transfer market news we are just here to get ready," he said, speaking during the club’s tour of Australia where they will face Tottenham on Tuesday.
"The club is going to talk about the transfer market and they are doing very well so I am happy in that regard."
