Cristiano Ronaldo paid McGregor a visit as the UFC star trains for his UFC 202 bout

Cristiano Ronaldo and Conor McGregor locked horns in the Octagon on Sunday evening when the Real Madrid man met up with the UFC star.
Ronaldo is currently enjoying a post- Euro 2016 break following Portugal's win in France and dropped into the Irishman's Las Vegas training camp as he prepares for his return to UFC.
He then took to Instagram to post a photo of the pair sizing each other up in the Octagon with the caption "Great to see you bro!".

As entertaining as it would be, a fight between the pair is not on the cards, despite the eye-watering pay-per-view figures it would draw.
McGregor also post a picture of the two greats of their field on Instagram, calling the Real Madrid man 'an animal'.

"My brother Ronaldo dropped by the gym today," he posted.
"He is an animal.
"Thank you @cristiano, much respect! I will see you for that Forbes number 1 spot next year."
