Lady Gaga was made to pull over by the police for not having plates on her brand new truck

She may have brushed off being pulled over by the police on Twitter.

But Lady Gaga looked less than impressed as she was pictured in the moment she was stopped by the cops, in Malibu. 

The 30-year-old sported a quizzical expression as the policeman checked paperwork by the side of her brand new van.

The star looked casual as she sat in the car in a simple white T-shirt and styled her cropped hair into tousled waves.

And she sported picture perfect makeup with lashings of mascara and a dusky pink lip.

However, the policeman looked unphased about meeting the star as he stared intently at her driver's license - which the singer had obtained just two weeks before.

Lady Gaga was initially spotted embracing her rite of passage on Friday, when she was spotted driving her red pick-up truck but was later pulled over by police.

The Poker Face singer responded online to the event by writing on Twitter the following day: 'Ya I got pulled over. Big deal! I just haven't received plates yet for my new pick up!'

Ealier in the day, Gaga was pictured driving her van as she paired a black T-shirt with a trucker hat, a perfect outfit for a drive in her red pick-up.

The blonde singer and actress added a pair of denim elastic trousers and Converse sneakers.  

To complete her look, the American Horror Story star accessorized with a pair of polka dot shades.
