Leicester
fans will be delighted to hear that they will have two Jamie Vardys at
the club next season after Ahmed Musa insisted he is just like the
England star.
Claudio
Ranieri bolstered his squad following their surprising Premier League
triumph by forking out a club record fee of £18million on Musa from CSKA
Moscow.
The
23-year-old Nigerian is not a player that most Foxes supporters will be
familiar with but they should not worry as he claims he is fast and a
hard worker like Vardy.
'I think I am like Jamie Vardy,' insists Musa. 'I have speed, I like to work hard, we are similar in lots of things.
'Am
I faster? I can't say yet, I have never played with him, but I am
looking forward to finding out. I'm looking forward to playing with
Vardy. I like his style. I think we can fit well together.'
The
former CSKA man has been surprised by the speed of Leicester's training
sessions since joining up with his new team-mates but is looking
forward to adding a new dimension to the champions.
He added: 'When I started my first session I was thinking, "wow".
'I
have never seen that in Russia but now I am getting used to it. The
intensity here is quite different to Russia. Here it is a little bit
harder, in Russia they are more laid back.
'I think that is the most difficult thing, but I think that is the secret behind Leicester's success.'
Musa is one of four summer signings as Ranieiri has also brought in Nampalys Mendy, Ron-Robert Zieler and Luis Hernandez.
N'Golo Kante's move to Chelsea was confirmed on Saturday following months of speculation.
