The Shake It Off singer - who has maintained she didn't know Kanye West was going to refer to her as ‘that b****’ in the track - responded to the drama on Instagram, and while her rival is keeping quiet publicly, she is said to not understand the issue.
A source told E! News: "[Kim thinks it's so stupid]. She says the word 'b****' bothered her but on the Grammys stage she never mentioned that. She said, 'Don't ever let anyone say they made you famous.’”
The 1989 star took to Instagram just hours after the row was the subject of the latest episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians and insisted she was being painted as a "liar" and was never given the "full story" about the track.
Slamming claims Kanye has video proof of Swift giving her blessing for the song, she began: "Where is the video of Kanye telling me he was going to call me 'that b****' in his song? It doesn't exist because it never happened. You don't get to control someone's emotional response to being called 'that b****' in front of the entire world."
The post continued: "Of course I wanted to like the song. I wanted to believe Kanye when he told me that I would love the song. I wanted us to have a friendly relationship. He promised to play the song for me, but he never did.
"While I wanted to be supportive of Kanye on the phone call, you cannot 'approve' a song you haven't heard. Being falsely painted as a liar when I was never given the full story or played any part of the song is character assassination."
Swift captioned the picture: "That moment when Kanye West secretly records your phone call, then Kim posts it on the Internet."
In the video Taylor can be heard saying: "Go with whatever line you think is better. It's obviously very tongue in cheek either way. And I really appreciate you telling me about it, that's really nice!"
She added: "I'm really glad you had the respect to call me that and tell me that as a friend, about the song."

"I never talk s*** about anyone publicly, especially in interviews, but I was just like, I have so had it," says Kim in the KUWTK clip – appearing to reference her claim in the interview that Taylor had 'lied' about Famous.
"I just felt like I wanted to defend him in it cause she legitimately, quote, said: 'As soon as I get on that Grammy red carpet I'm gonna tell all the press I was in on it'."
"And then she just didn't like the reaction," interjected Kourtney as she nodded along in agreement.
"Yeah just another way to play the victim. It definitely got her a lot of attention the first time," added Kim. Ouch.
"I just don't think he should be punished for it still to this day."
The mum-of-two then tells the camera: "I've had it with people blatantly treating me husband a certain way and making him look a certain way.
"Kanye is always so honest and speaks his mind and when we were first dating people would always talk s*** and he always had my back.
"At this point I really don't give a f*** so I'll do whatever to protect my husband."

Cantona told Ibrahimovic he could be the 'prince' of the city following his switch to Old Trafford, but he would always be the king.

The French Prime Minister was booed as he visited Nice in the aftermath of the terror attacks.
As
Manuel Valls made his was to the scene where Mohamed Bouhlel mowed down
84 people on the promenade during the Bastille Day celebrations on
Thursday night, some of the crowd voiced their anger.
He was jeered by large portions of the thousands of people who had turned up to pay their respects in the coastal city.
Valls
and his government has been criticised over the last 18 months for not
doing enough to stop terror attacks in the country, following the
Charlie Hebdo attacks last January and the Paris massacre in November.
Talking
last month the French Prime Minister insisted the country is doing all
it can to foil terror plots but admitted 'more innocents will lose their
lives'.
Speaking
on French Inter radio, Mr Valls said before the Euros: 'We need to
tighten the net and give police and intelligence services all the means
they need, but we will witness further attacks.
'More innocents will lose their lives.'
Lady Gaga was made to pull over by the police for not having plates on her brand new truck
She may have brushed off being pulled over by the police on Twitter.
But Lady Gaga looked less than impressed as she was pictured in the moment she was stopped by the cops, in Malibu.
The 30-year-old sported a quizzical expression as the policeman checked paperwork by the side of her brand new van.
The star looked casual as she sat in the car in a simple white T-shirt and styled her cropped hair into tousled waves.
And she sported picture perfect makeup with lashings of mascara and a dusky pink lip.
However,
the policeman looked unphased about meeting the star as he stared
intently at her driver's license - which the singer had obtained just two weeks before.
Lady Gaga
was initially spotted embracing her rite of passage on Friday, when she
was spotted driving her red pick-up truck but was later pulled over by
police.
The
Poker Face singer responded online to the event by writing on Twitter
the following day: 'Ya I got pulled over. Big deal! I just haven't
received plates yet for my new pick up!'
Ealier
in the day, Gaga was pictured driving her van as she paired a black
T-shirt with a trucker hat, a perfect outfit for a drive in her red
pick-up.
The blonde singer and actress added a pair of denim elastic trousers and Converse sneakers.
To complete her look, the American Horror Story star accessorized with a pair of polka dot shades.

despite the death leading to calls for action against the 'epidemic' of
honour killings
The
strangling of Miss Baloch, 26, a controversial figure in deeply
conservative Muslim Pakistan for posting selfies and videos that would
appear tame by Western standards, has prompted a wave of shock and
revulsion.
Her
brother was arrested late Saturday, Multan City police chief Azhar
Akram said, and confessed to drugging then strangling her 'for honour'.
'Yes of course, I strangled her,' Waseem said at a press conference, organised by police, early Sunday.
'She was on the ground floor while our parents were asleep on the roof top,' he continued.
'It was around 10.45 pm when I gave her a tablet... and then killed her.'
Waseem said he acted alone.
He
added: 'I am not embarrassed at all over what I did. Whatever was the
case, it (his sister's behaviour) was completely intolerable.'
Miss
Baloch, believed to be in her twenties and whose real name was Fauzia
Azeem, rose to fame for her Facebook posts that saw her praised by some
for breaking social taboos but condemned by conservatives.
She was killed on Friday night at her family's home near Multan.
Up
to 100 officers were gathered outside her family's home in
Muzzafarabad, preventing neighbours from gathering. Five ambulances were
also parked nearby.
The model shared hundreds of videos of her dancing in minimal clothing with her 123,000 Instagram followers.
Waseem went on the run and was arrested late Saturday in neighbouring Muzaffargarh district.
Hundreds of women are murdered for 'honour' every year in Pakistan.
The
killers overwhelmingly walk free because of a law that allows the
family of the victim to forgive the murderer - who is often also a
relative.
Filmmaker
Sharmeemn Obaid-Chinoy, whose documentary on honour killings won an
Oscar earlier this year, slammed Miss Baloch's murder as symptomatic of
an 'epidemic' of violence against women in Pakistan.
She
joined other liberals in Pakistan who called for anti-honour killing
legislation. 'Activists have screamed themselves hoarse,' she said.
'When will it stop?'
But many conservatives pushed back, with some arguing online that her family would have had 'no choice'.
The pictures
showed Miss Baloch wearing her traditional lamb's wool cap as she posed
next to the cleric. Qavi later said she had asked him for a meeting and
they met in a hotel.
On
Valentine's Day, she donned a plunging scarlet dress and posted a video
message defying the country's president, who had issued a stern warning
against the 'Western' celebration. The post garnered more than 70,000
'likes'.
Speaking
at the time, she said: 'People are going crazy - especially girls. I
get so many calls where they tell me I'm their inspiration and they want
to be like me.'
She had reportedly spoken of leaving the country after Eid out of fear for her safety.
Malaysia Airlines to settle MH17 victim’s families $145,000 each
Malaysia
Airlines has struck a deal to settle damages claims to most of the
victims of the doomed MH17 flight, which was shot down over eastern
Ukraine two years ago.
Veeru
Mewa, a lawyer representing Dutch victims, said under the Montreal
Convention airlines must pay damages of up to about €130,000 ($145,000)
to victims' families regardless of the circumstances of a crash.
The
Boeing 777, carrying mainly Dutch passengers, was shot down by
pro-Russia separatists en route to Kuala Lumpur from Amsterdam, killing
all 298 on board.
The
Malaysia Airlines passenger jet was hit by a surface-to-air missile on

who were killed phoned us and asked us to find things that were valuable
for them, for example, the toys that belonged to children aboard.'
Some
small pieces of wreckage, not yet handed over to Dutch investigators,
were stacked outside Voloshina's office to mark the anniversary.

The "Shake It Off" hitmaker has responded to the Snapchat videos, insisting in a statement posted on Instagram that she never approved the song and that West never really let her hear it before it's released. "I would very much like to be excluded from this narrative, one that I have never asked to be a part of, since 2009."
