"Iron Man 3" is the biggest moneymaker in movie industry. As 2013 is coming to an end, the Robert Downey Jr.-starring Marvel superhero movie tops the highest-selling films of the year with an estimated worldwide gross of $1,215.4 million, according to Box Office Mojo.
Snoop Dogg, who changed his name to Snoop Lion
for his reggae project, has returned with a brand new video for his
collaboration with Collie Buddz, "Smoke the Weed". The
three-and-a-half-minute clip mostly features Snoop sharing his love for
marijuana.
The "Drop It Like It's Hot" hitmaker enjoys smoking weed while hanging out with friends, working and performing onstage. Daz, Kurupt, Curren$y, Dead Prez and more make guest appearances in the clip.
"We keep planting these seeds/ Watch them grow a new breed/ Cultivating
these trees," Snoop says. He then sings the hook, "Smoke the weed,
everyday/ Don't smoke the seed, no way/ Smoke the weed."
"Smoke the Weed" appears in Snoop's album "Reincarnated".
The reggae set, which hit No.1 on U.S. Top Reggae Albums chart after
being released back in April, has been nominated for Best Reggae Album
at the upcoming Grammy Awards.
Kanye West wrapped up the North American leg of his "Yeezus" tour at Toronto's Air Canada Centre on Monday, December 23. For the special night, the rapper brought out a special guest to perform together. Drake
surprised his hometown crowd when he joined West onstage. The "Started
From the Bottom" hitmaker, who became the first guest on the tour,
teamed up with West to perform their 2009 collaboration single "Forever". Drake also treated the crowd with his "All Me".
On Sunday, December 22, Drake was spotted attending West's concert at the same venue. He sat in the audience. At the end of the show, West thanked Drake for his support and called him a "rap God." "I want to thank the rap god, Drake, for coming out tonight," he said.
They were later seen partying at a nightclub together. Drake then
performed his "Worst Behavior" and "Headlines" while West swang from the
ceiling.
Paul Walker's Brian O'Conner will not be completely written off of "Fast and Furious 7".
While the new plotline for the upcoming seventh installment is still
unclear, Universal assures that the actor who passed away last month in a
fiery car accident will still be a part of the movie.
Beyonce Knowles gets raunchy in the music video of "Yonce". In the two-minute clip, the singer
is seen showing off her curves in tiny outfit while hanging out with
Victoria's Secret models Chanel Iman, Joan Smalls and Jourdan Dunn.
The scantily-clad models writhe and give some seductive looks at the camera as they lip sync the track. In other scenes, Beyonce shows some provocative dance moves, licks a lollipop and caresses herself in a risque bodysuit. At one point, Smalls licks the singer's chest.
The music video was shot in Brooklyn last summer by director Ricky Saiz. He recently explained that the clip was inspired by George Michael's "Freedom! '90" video, which featured top models like Naomi Campbell and Cindy Crawford.
"That was the drop-off video," he told MTV. "It was amazing. We wanted
to do something more contemporary and a bit more street and, of course,
use iconic black women."
"Yonce" is featured in Bey's self-titled visual album, "Beyonce", which hit Billboard 200's No.1 after being released exclusively on iTunes earlier this month.
Even the Most Hardcore Travelers Should Not Visit North Korea. Here's Why.
North Korea, among the most isolated places in the world, is known for its repressive regime, empty threats, and its dictator's unusual friendship with
eccentric former NBA player Dennis Rodman. The combination of its
politics and isolation, make it an appealing destination for daring
travelers.
A new documentary released by VICE Media
follows five New Zealanders on motorbikes as they traverse the
mountainous North Korea. The film offers a glimpse into a world rarely
seen by foreigners where the regime keeps its citizens in abject
poverty, isolated from the rest of the world and any notion of reality.
The scope of the film is restricted as it has been sanctioned by
North Korea's government. Government

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho insists he wants to remain in charge of
the club for more than a decade after revealing he took a pay cut to
return to Stamford Bridge last summer.
Mourinho is still reported to be one of the highest earning managers in
the game, but stressed his desire to make an emotional return to
Chelsea, and not a motivation to increase his bank balance, was the
driving force behind his move from Real Madrid.
“If I was here for me, I wouldn’t be here,” Mourinho told reporters
ahead of the crunch game against Arsenal on Monday. “If I was here for
financial reasons, I wouldn’t be here getting a lot less money than I
The General Overseer of The Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor W.F Kumuyi
warned his church members during their annual National December
Convention which held on Saturday Dec 21st, against celebrating
Christmas, because according to him it is idolatrous and unscriptural.
Kumuyi said;
“We don’t celebrate Christmas.
It actually came from idolatrous background. That is why you don’t hear
us sing what they call Christmas carol, Never! We always say it is the
December retreat. We are only gathering together because it is the
holiday period and love the lord more, and rededicate ourselves more.
There were originally more victims in "X-Men: The Last Stand" where Professor X was disintegrated by Phoenix. In a storyboard obtained by Comic Book Movie, Magneto was supposed to meet his demise as well.
In the movie's final version, however, Magneto was saved due to "the
cure" Beast injected on him. Magneto originally opposed the serum which
was invented by pharmaceutical company Worthington Labs to suppress
mutants' X-gene.
Moreover, the film featured the final battle taking place at Alcatraz Island but the storyboard showed Washington DC setting.
Brett Ratner directed the third "X-Men" film after Bryan Singer who helmed the first two films left the franchise to make "Superman Returns".
Cyclops also became Dark Phoenix's victims, while Mystique and Rogue
were among those taking "the cure" either forcibly or voluntarily. Patrick Stewart starred as Prof. X, Anna Paquin as Rogue, Kelsey Grammer as Beast, Ian McKellen as Magneto, Rebecca Romijn as Mystique, Famke Janssen as Phoenix, and James Marsden as Cyclops. Released in 2006, the film got mixed reviews but gained success at box office.

Paul Walker's memory is kept alive in a music video for his last movie, "Hours",
soundtrack, "All I Feel Is You". Singer/actress Natalia Safran
premiered a music video for the song as an ode to the actor who died
November 30 in a car crash.
Inserted in the clip are scenes focusing on Walker as a father trying to
keep his newborn baby alive in a New Orleans hospital during Hurricane
Katrina. At the end of the video, Safran encouraged fans to donate to
Walker's first responder organization Reach Out WorldWide. Proceeds from
the song will also go to the charity.
Description under the video said, "Video for the official track of 'Hours', a dramatic thriller starring Paul Walker and Genesis Rodriguez.
...Paul delivers an incredible performance with electrifying intensity
and truth. To know this is his last film is heartbreaking."
"The song and the video were an ode to lost love and an unbreakable connection. Now they must be a farewell. A farewell
to an incredible man and a dear friend. We wanted to honor his memory
and his inspiring life and hope this video does it in some small way.
All profits from the single benefit Please donate, support it and keep
Paul's vision alive!"
"Hours" was released a couple of weeks after Walker died.
There is something inherently lame about a
cappella singing. This may be because of its roots in barbershop or the
high technical barrier required for entry. Or maybe it’s the fact that a
group of people standing around mimicking instruments is kind of
ridiculous. How could voices ever stand up to actual instruments,
especially in the face of an era benchmarked by electronic sound? That
said, what a cappella groups can do is undeniably distinct. When done
well, a cappella definitely does stand up. As we move through the 2010s a
cappella is seeing its moment in the sun. Popular culture is finally
catching up to what so many fans already knew: a cappella is worthy of
our iPods, our downloads, our views. If it weren’t for the internet and
viral videos, the genre would not be nearly as successful.
Like many modern trends, the internet played a huge role
in the birth of a cappella’s popularity. The form was popular on college
campuses for decades, but the web allowed for the rapid spread of
ideas, technique and music. Suddenly schools across the country — and
the world — could see what other talented students were doing and
replicate it. Portals like YouTube and iTunes became indispensable for
the dissemination of a cappella. It was only a matter of time until the
mainstream media took notice and saw dollar signs.
NBC premiered The Sing-Off,
a limited-run reality competition series, in December of 2009. The show
pitted 10 a cappella groups ranging from high school to professional in
a head-to-head battle for the title of the ultimate team. A cappella
was getting its first shot at major exposure. The show
constantly reminded viewers the groups were only doing this with their
voices, and the public responded by showing up in big numbers.
Former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has told The Sun of his respect for Jose Mourinho, who he will face in the Champions League knockout phase.
Chelsea have been drawn against Drogba's current club Galatasaray in
the last 16 of the Champions League, with the first leg to take place on
Feb. 26, 2014.
Drogba, who left the Blues in 2012, and Mourinho worked together at
Stamford Bridge for three years, before the latter parted company with
the club in 2007.
This might be one of the most unique Christmas videos we've seen this year. Artists George Zisiadis and Mustafa Khan
decked a mini "drone" with glittering garlands and sprigs of mistletoe,
before flying it over the heads of unsuspecting passerby in San
Francisco's Union Square. Couples (or would-be couples) — both young and
old, gay and straight — adorably obliged the drone's demands. Some even
signaled for it to fly their way.
Zisiadis' imaginative and
subversive works seek to alter people's relationships to their
environments for the better, and are a nice shift from the popular tone
of technological paranoia. Zisiadis told PolicyMic, "My work is about
playfully re-imagining the world around us. Drones have been causing all
sorts of paranoia lately and I wanted to reframe them from being
something scary and ominous to be being fun and human. Its not about the
technology, its about how we use it." It's certainly one way to get
people into the holiday spirit.
Zisiadis' past projects include the world's first interactive balloon immersion, a bubbleverse, and cards placed on public transit
that encourage people sitting next to each other to strike up a
conversation. More whimsical ideas for city transformation can be found
in his book Urban Imagination, out now.
