Young obese teacher lost 8 stone to inspire her pupils

A morbidly obese woman who was accused of going under the knife after shedding almost half her body weight has revealed the secrets of her dramatic weightloss.
Stunning Laura Micetich, 25, who shed an impressive eight stone, has undergone a miraculous transformation after splitting up with her boyfriend of four years.
The 25-year-old saw her weight soar to 21 stone having gorged on secret meals her entire life.
But after her ex broke up with her, six foot-tall Laura, who says her giant frame made her 'intimidating', decided to get fit.

The teacher from Jackson, Tennessee, USA, initially considered weight loss surgery.
But when she joined a gym and watched the first few pounds fall off she realised she could do it naturally.
And having documented her transformation on Instagram, Laura claims social media has been crucial in motivating her to lose weight.
Two years later and the beautiful brunette looks so different people accuse her of having surgery or taking weight loss pills.
Laura, who is known online as the Iron Giantess, said: "With my height and being that size, I was imitating.
"I struggled with binge eating and secretive eating.
"I would go to the fridge and find something I needed - it was a bit of addiction.
"It wasn't emotional eating, it was just something I did."
Laura said the turning point came when she started her teaching degree and wanted to lose weight to be a better role model for children.
She added: "I was going into a teaching degree and wanted to be a good role model the kids.
"I am a teacher and my size was the first thing the kids picked up on.
"It wasn't them being mean spirited, kids just have no problem being honest."
Laura switched to clean eating and started weight lifting. In just a year she had lost half her body weight.
She said:"People think I have had surgery but it was all natural. I worked really hard.
"I've even had people steal my photos and used it for weight loss pills claiming I used them to slim down but that's not true.
"There was no pills or surgery, just hard work.
"I think the weight lifting also helped me not to have lots of excess skin."

The parents of the boy who fell into a gorilla enclosure - resulting in the death of 17-year-old silverback Harambe - have been issued with death threats.
Staff at the zoo in Cincinatti, Ohio, shot the endangered primate fearing four-year-old boy Isaiah's life was at risk.
Now couple Michelle Gregg, 32, and Deonne Dickerson, 37, have been blasted by those angry at the endangered animal's tragic death.

One Twitter user wrote: "How about blaming the f*****g numb-nut parents. Shoot them not the Gorilla."
"I'm pro animals. Take better care of your 3yr old F*****G KID you lazy son of a b***h. Shoot the parents first then the gorilla. Rant over," wrote on furious tweeter.
Another said: "Feel for the gorilla. Didn't deserve to get shot. Shoot the s****y mum instead."
The couple, who reportedly have four children together, are now facing neglect charges over the incident in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Reporters outside the couple's Ohio home were turned away politely, with the family even said to have turned down a big money offer from a New York breakfast show as they shield themselves from the massive social media backlash.

Plugging mobile phone to computer exposes it to hackers

When your phone starts complaining that its battery is running low, you probably wouldn't think twice about plugging it into a computer to charge it up.
But security experts claim that this simple act could be enough to get you hacked.
According to researchers at Kaspersky Lab, plugging your iPhone or Android smartphone into a computer results in a whole load of data being exchanged between the two devices.
This could include the phone's name, the manufacturer, the device type, the serial number, firmware information, the operating system information, the file system and the electronic chip ID.
The amount of data sent varies depending on the device and the host, but each smartphone transfers the same basic set of information - like device name, manufacturer and serial number.
While this information may seem fairly innocuous, it is enough for a hacker to break into a smartphone and take control, according to Kaspersky.
Using a regular PC and a standard micro USB cable, the researchers were able to silently install a "root application" on a test smartphone, amounting to a total compromise of the device.


This is not the first time theft of data from a mobile connected to a computer has been observed.
This technique was used in 2013 as part of the cyberespionage campaign Red October . The Hacking Team group also made use of a computer connection to load a mobile device with malware.
In both of these cases, the hackers found a way to exploit the supposedly safe data exchange between the smartphone and the PC it was connected to.
By checking the identification data received from the connected device, the hackers were able to discover what device model the victim was using and then use this information to tailor their attack.
This would not have been as easy to achieve if smartphones did not automatically exchange data with a PC upon connecting to the USB port.
"The security risks here are obvious: if you’re a regular user you can be tracked through your device IDs; your phone could be silently packed with anything from adware to ransomware," warns Alexey Komarov, researcher at Kaspersky Lab.
It you're worried about getting hacked in this way, Kaspersky Lab says there are several ways to protect yourself:

• Use only trusted USB charging points and computers to charge your device
• Protect your mobile phone with a password, or with another method such as fingerprint recognition, and don’t unlock it while charging
• Use encryption technologies and secure containers (protected areas on mobile devices used to isolate sensitive information) to protect the data
• Install some kind of antivirus software that is capable of detecting malware even if a "charging" vulnerability is used.

Kanye West is reportedly ready to go to war if one of his sex tapes leaks. According to HollywoodLife.com, the 38-year-old rapper has hired lawyers to fight against any potential leak.

"Kanye is fascinated by sex tapes, but he's not worried about any of his tapes leaking. What terrifies him is that one of his exes, or even a hook-up, might have filmed him at some point without his knowledge," a source told the site.

The site suggested that Kanye might do some "dirt" if there's someone who threatened to leak his sex tapes. "When he hears that people have tapes of him, that's the first fear that comes to mind. This is not something he takes lightly, his lawyers are all prepped to take aggressive action. If anything like that ever happens it will be war," the insider added.

The report followed a previous report by MediaTakeOut which stated that Kanye's sex tape just leaked. The site alleged that the video was taken in 2012 before Kanye dated Kim Kardashian. The video was said to feature Kanye engaging in a sexual activity with an African-American woman.

According to the site, in the video, "Kanye is seen PUTTING HIS BACK into every stroke. Dude was looking like an adult film star. And the woman, who was VERY well built, seemed to be really enjoying it."

The site later said that they couldn't show any of the screenshots or the footage, but the clip would probably surface online soon.

Man fed himself to lions, claimed apocalypse was coming

A former soldier who jumped naked into a lion enclosure claimed the apocalypse was coming and he was a prophet from God.
Franco Ferrada, 20, leapt into the pit at Santiago Zoo on Saturday in an apparent suicide attempt.
Two lions at the zoo in Chile were shot dead as they attacked the man after he jumped into the enclosure.
A note was reportedly found in his abandoned clothes, that said: "The apocalypse has arrived, and I will know when it shall come.
"I am the prophet and I have returned for my people."

He also had a piece of paper in his wallet with two scribbled drawings of lions on, according to Mail Online.
Witnesses said he was also speaking about biblical hero, Daniel, who was thrown to the lions but saved by an angel sent by God.
His apparent suicide attempt is believed to be linked to his mother's death, which family members said he never came to terms with after she passed away from breast cancer when he was 11.
Family members said Mr Ferrada was put in care after his mother died and his dad turned to drink. He then went on to join the army.

World's Heaviest: 19 years old mum gives birth to baby weighing whopping 15lbs

A mother has given birth to a baby girl weighing a whopping 15lbs - the heaviest girl ever born in the world.
Nandini, 19, who goes only by her first name, welcomed her first child, a daughter, by caesarean section on Monday evening at a government-run hospital in Hassan in southern state Karnataka.
The average baby is born weighing 7.5lbs - making Nadini's newborn female twice the size.

Dr Venkatesh Raju, the local health officer, said: "In my 25 years of experience, I had never seen such a big baby. She is a miracle.

 “I believe she is not only the heaviest baby born in India but the heaviest baby girl ever born in the world."
The yet-to-be named baby left everyone including her mother and medics in shock due her sheer size.
Dr Poornima Manu, gynaecologist who delivered the baby said: "She came as a big surprise for all of us. The surgery took place for nearly half an hour and it was free of any risk. She is really big and beautiful.
"She does not have any health issues like irregular sugar levels or thyroid and is breathing well. We were initially concerned about her sugar levels but that is normal. The mother had made regular visits for check-ups at the hospital and never showed signs of gestational diabetes or thyroid disorders.
"Both the mother and the child are doing fine and we will discharge them once we are confident of the baby's health."

A man was caught in a blood-soaked battle with a massive snake after it slithered up sewer pipes and bit onto his penis as he sat going to the toilet.
Atthaporn Boonmakchuay was squatting over the toilet at his Thailand home this morning when he suddenly felt a sharp bite to the tip of his penis.

He immediately grabbed down below with his hand and was horrified to discover he had caught hold of the head of a huge snake that had clamped its jaws around his privates.

The pair were thrashing around the tiny toilet - leaving blood splattered across the floors and walls but just as he feared he could lose his penis, Atthaporn hatched an ingenious plan to remove the snake with seconds to spare.

He called out for a rope and just before passing out managed to grab the four-metre serpent’s head and tie it to the bathroom door.
The 38-year-old was hospitalised after suffering huge blood loss and collapsing from the dramatic snake attack during his morning bathroom routine.
According to Bangpakong News , emergency services were then called in to free the massive serpent from pipes under the family home in Chachoengsao, east of Bangkok.
Fire crews used hammers to smash the toilet and drag the python, which was still alive, out of the ground according to reports in Thailand.

The Queen joked about people 'wanting her dead' after she was given two bunches of highly poisonous plants by well-wishers this week.
Her Majesty was touring the RHS Chelsea Flower Show when she was told by a gardener that the lily of the valley was once used as a poison before making the dark quip.
Herb gardener Jekka McVicar explained to the Queen that the flowering plant has the same properties as the toxic digitalis - also known as the common foxglvoe.
Ms McVicar, designer of the St John's Hospice garden at the show, said: "She (the Queen) said, 'I've been given two bunches this week. Perhaps they want me dead'."

Lily of the valley (Convallaria majalis) have small bell-shaped white flowers followed by a small orange-red berry and are highly poisonous.
If ingested the plant can cause abdominal pain, vomiting, reduced heart rate, blurred vision, drowsiness and red skin rashes.
The Queen, who was at the annual famous flower show with her family on Monday, was also given a bunch of fresh herbs to smell, including lemon verbena.
"She said it was lovely," she said.

Mourinho is expected to be called to the London South Employment Tribunal in Croydon to appear as a witness when the case resumes on June 6.
Details surrounding Carneiro's dismissal from Chelsea at the start of last season are due to be made public , including e-mails and text messages sent by Mourinho.
Carneiro is still pushing for a public apology from the Portuguese.

Mourinho branded Carneiro as "impulsive and naive" after Chelsea's first game of the 2015/16 season, where she ran onto the pitch to treat Eden Hazard, who was down injured.

She was subsequently dropped from her first-team duties and left the club a month later.
Carneiro is suing the club for constructive dismissal, but is also tangled in a separate personal legal battle against Mourinho after accusing him of victimisation and discrimination.
The legal battle could make Mourinho's introduction to life at Manchester United difficult, with him poised to be named the club's new manager imminently.
Carneiro, who is seeking 'substantial damages', took part in a five hour private hearing in March but no agreement with Chelsea was reached.

She added to Paris Match magazine: "I called the doctor, who I had to comfort, saying, 'René won't suffer any more, it's better this way.'
"Later, the doctor found that René hadn't suffered any fracture or wound or bleed - that had haunted me."
Meanwhile, singer Celine , 48, previously admitted she feels at "peace" after her husband's passing.
She shared: "I really, really want to prove to my kids their mother is strong. René always insisted the show must go on. You know what, I'm 48 years old and I lost the love of my life.
"I miss him a lot from when he was great but not when he was suffering. I cannot be selfish. You have to let people go. I feel at peace.
"He left me with all of his strength. Every day we live with him, just not physically. I'm thankful that he does not suffer anymore."
