Twitter users are urging Marvel to give Captain America a.k.a. Steve Rogers, played by Chris Evans, a boyfriend. Using the hashtag #GiveCaptainAmericaABoyfriend, some fans paired Captain America with his best friend Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) while others paired him with Iron Man Downey
Chris isn't opposed to the idea of romance between Cap and Bucky. "That wouldn't be so bad," the "Captain America: Civil War" actor told Flickering Myth. "It's just never been part of my approach to the character. My subtext didn't involve that dynamic. I think even with the first Captain America film you see how drawn he is to Peggy Carter...I thought I put all that in the final scene, but maybe I didn't. Maybe I was just gazing at Sebastian too much."

Other fans refused to give Captain America a boyfriend, asking people to stop "gaying" all the things.Fully support #GiveCaptainAmericaABoyfriend (although they've already given him a soulmate) https://t.co/W7CkpWioGe pic.twitter.com/tAk9RKQkuA— Jarett Wieselman (@JarettSays) May 24, 2016
