Record set: Ronaldo break Dane Jon Dahl Tomasson Euro Championships goals record

With his game-winning goal against Armenia in Euro 2016 qualifying, Cristiano Ronaldo became the all-time leading scorer in UEFA European Championship history.
The Portuguese striker put in a loose ball from point-blank range to help his country to a 1-0 win over a game Armenian squad. The goal brings his Euro tally in qualifying and tournament matches to 23, passing Dane Jon Dahl Tomasson's total of 22.
Ronaldo has now scored 24 goals in 19 games this season with club and country and has failed to score in only four of his 24 games since the World Cup.

Boko Haram militants claim Chibok town where more than 200 schoolgirls where kidnapped since April

Boko Haram militants have seized the north-eastern Nigerian town of Chibok, the home of more than 200 schoolgirls the insurgents kidnapped in April, residents who fled have told the BBC.
Militants attacked and took control of the town, in Borno state, on Thursday evening, residents said.
The militants have repeatedly targeted villages around Chibok over recent months.
Boko Haram says it is fighting to create an Islamic state in Nigeria.
A senator for Borno state, Ali Ndume, told the BBC Hausa service that security forces posted in the town ran away when the insurgents attacked.
Residents told the Sahara Reporters news website that the militants headed to the centre of Chibok and declared that they were taking it over as part of their caliphate.
The crisis in Nigeria is deepening every week, but politicians appear more focused on next year's elections, our correspondent says.
Boko Haram has changed tactics in recent months by holding on to territory rather than using hit-and-run attacks that have left thousands dead.

2015 Africa Cup of Nation: Equatorial Guinea to host the Tournament

Equatorial Guinea have been named as the hosts for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, the Confederation of African Football has confirmed.
Caf selected a replacement for Morocco after rejecting their request to delay the 17 January to 8 February finals.
Morocco were concerned over the spread of the outbreak of the Ebola virus.
Caf subsequently expelled Morocco from the relocated tournament, which will now be held in the country which co-hosted with Gabon in 2012.
Equatorial Guinea will now take on sole responsibility for holding the 16-team event.
Caf said the decision was made after a meeting in Malabo on Friday between Equatorial Guinea's president Teodoro Obiang and Caf president Issa Hayatou.
African football's governing body also announced that Equatorial Guinea will play in the tournament - despite the team being disqualified in July for fielding an ineligible player in a preliminary qualifier against Mauritania on 17 May.
Hayatou said in a statement:  "The head of state of Equatorial Guinea agreed to host the competition.
"As a result, the Caf executive committee confirms that the tournament will go ahead and Equatorial Guinea will compete as the host nation.
"Caf wishes to express its sincere thanks to the Equatorial Guinean people, its government and particularly president Obiang."
Matches will be held at four venues in Bata, Ebebiyin, Mongomo and the capital Malabo. In 2012, only Malabo and Bata were used.
The draw for the finals will be in Malabo on 3 December.

Testing an Armored car: CEO of Armored Car Company got behind the wheel while an employee fired an AK-47 at him

An employee of a Texas armored car company got to do just that this week to 'demonstrate that they take client safety seriously'.
And to further that demonstration, the CEO was sitting alone inside the Mercedes-Benz as 12 rounds from an AK-47 rained down upon the SUV.

The shots were fired by the company's sales and export compliance manager, Lawrence Kosub, who seemed very familiar with an assault rifle.
In the driver's seat was Texas Armoring Corporation president R. Trent Kimball.
All of Kosub's shots hit the windscreen and none of them breached it.

'When it comes to assuring our clients' safety, we take product testing extremely seriously,' Kimball says in a video taken of the display.
'Life is valuable - protect it,' Kimball adds at the end.
Kimball does not address whether he is nervous before getting in the vehicle, but he doesn't appear to be.
The company, Texas Armoring Corporation, has supplied protected vehicles to the Pope, celebrities like rapper T.I. and actor Steven Segal and oil executives in West Africa, according to My San Antonio.

Australian protesters bury heads in sand to mock government's attitude on climate change

More than 400 protesters stuck their heads in the sand on Australia’s Bondi Beach on Thursday, mocking the government’s reluctance to put climate change on the agenda of a G20 summit this weekend.
Prime minister Tony Abbott’s perceived failure to address climate change is all the more galling in the wake of an agreement between the United States and China on Wednesday to limit their carbon emissions, they said.
“Obama’s on board, Xi Jinping’s on board, everyone’s on board except one man,” activist Pat Norman, 28, bellowed into a megaphone on the Sydney beach.
“Tony Abbott!” the protesters shouted back.
Parents with babies, school children and working people in business suits dug holes on the beach and stuck their heads in them. The ostrich is said to stick its head in the sand in futile bid to avoid danger.
Ornithologists say the African bird does no such thing but that didn’t spoil the protest.
“Wiggle ya bums if you feel like it,” Norman shouted over the megaphone.
A few athletic types did handstands with their heads in the sand.

Petr Cech depends on Chelsea to decide his future

Petr Cech has said his future at Chelsea "depends entirely upon the club" because he has two years left on his Stamford Bridge contract.
The Czech Republic international goalkeeper has lost his first-team place to Belgium's Thibaut Courtois -- a development that has seen him hint at a move during the transfer window.
But Cech, 32, said he remained committed to the Blues, and would wait and see whether they made any decision on his future.
"Everyone is asking me what if and what will happen," he told Czech news agency CTK in quotes reported by Sky Sports. "As a player who has two years left on his contract, I cannot make the choice.
"It is simple. If the club says: 'You are staying here,' then I will be staying. I can only leave if the club lets me go, and that is not the case.
"As a player with a two-year contract, I have absolutely no chance of influencing the wishes of the club.
"I am doing my best to change the situation. I want to play as often as possible and be prepared to be as good as possible for the fixtures what will come in the new year."

Guinness World Record Day: World tallest Man meet with the planet shortest man

The world's tallest and shortest men met for the first time this morning to commemorate Guinness World Record Day.
Sultan Kösen, who is 8ft 1in. tall, and Chandra Dangi, who measures just 21.5ins., posed for photos outside the Houses of Parliament to mark the book's 60th anniversary.
The two men join hundreds of others who are taking part in a number of record attempts across the world to celebrate the occasion.
The annual broke a record of its own in 2004 when it became the world's best-selling copyright book. Guinness World Record Day was set up to commemorate the date.
Mr Kösen, 31, from Ankara, Turkey, became the world's tallest living man in 2009, when he took the title from 63-year-old Xi Shun, from China, who measured 7 ft 8.95 ins. in 2005.

Mr Kösen, a part-time farmer, was the first man over 8ft to be measured by the company in over 20 years - and one of only 10 people on record to break the height barrier.
Mr Kösen also holds the record for largest hands of a living person, each one measuring 11.22 in from the wrist to the tip of the middle finger.
And he previously held the record for largest feet on a living person, with his left foot measuring 1 ft 2 ins and right foot measuring 1 ft 1.98 ins.
Speaking at the time of his entry into the Guinness World Records, he said: 'I never imagined I would be in the book, I dreamed about it, but it was still a huge surprise'.

Mr Dangi, who lives in the isolated Nepalese village of Reemkholi, some 335miles southwest of Kathmandu, is the shortest adult human to have their height verified by Guinness.
At just 21.5ins, Mr Dangi is the same size as six cans of baked beans stacked on top of each other. He beat the benchmark set by Gul Mohammed, from New Delhi, India, who measured 22.5ins.
Three of his five brothers were less than four feet tall, while his two sisters and two brothers are of average height.

Bruce Jenner could possibly be seeking for a gender change

The former Olympian has previously been alleged to be seeking gender reassignment treatment with a preference to be named 'Brigitte,' and now a new report claims his 'goal is to be a woman'.
Us Weekly recently published a cover story claiming the 65-year-old is finally free to be himself following his split from Kris Jenner.
A source told the publication Bruce's 'goal is to live as a woman and look as much like one' and further claimed he has been 'struggling for a long time with his feelings about being a woman inside'.
The allegation comes after a series of sightings in which the former decathlete appears to be making a transition in his physical appearance.
On his birthday last month Bruce was spotted stealing a solo smoke as he wore bright pink nail polish.
In September he was seen wearing what appeared to be Spanx, a brand of control pants favoured by his step-daughters.
That same month he was also pictured with suspiciously smooth legs, which appeared to have been freshly waxed or shaved.
All of this comes after the star underwent surgery to flatten his Adam's apple, a procedure often undertaken by people seeking gender reassignment.
Amid these changes various speculations have emerged to explain his changing appearance with some believing he is simply trying to recapture his youth with various cosmetic adjustments.
The most popular opinion is the allegation of sexual reassignment and Us Weekly's report furthers that speculation.
One family insider told the publication that media coverage of his appearance 'crushes him' but that he plans on unveiling his gender identification in a format of his choosing.

Bono narrowly escape Plane Accident as Door Falls Off Mid-Air

Bono avoided a plane disaster in a recent flight to Germany. According to Daily Mail, the tailgate of the Learjet 60 D-CGEO carrying the U2 member and his four friends became detached on German coast during a two-hour flight from Dublin, Ireland to Berlin on Wednesday, November 12.

"He was extremely lucky, the plane could have gone down. About an hour into the journey they heard a big thud coming from the rear of the plane," a source close to the singer said. "They were startled for a bit but they continued on and made the descent into Berlin airport. When they landed they were horrified to learn that the compartment at the rear of the plane had completely detached."

"The entire door along with Bono and his companions' luggage had fallen out mid-air. They don't know if the door and the contents landed over water or land but they were extremely lucky. They were at an altitude where anything could have happened and they are all feeling very lucky to be alive," the source continued.

German officials confirmed that Bono's plane suffered in-flight incident, but it was able to make safe landing despite the damage. "To our knowledge, there was no danger of crashing," said Ralf Kunkel, Berlin Schonefeld Airport spokesperson. "The German Federal Bureau of Aircraft Accidents Investigation has begun an investigation into the cause of the incident."

Bono and his bandmates were set to attend Bambi International Music Awards in Berlin. Just hours after the incident, he carried out his schedule, meeting the German minister of economic cooperation and development, Gerd Mueller.

Kim Kardashian famous derriere on cover of Paper magazine's winter 2014 issue receives online reaction

Kim Kardashian put her famous derriere on the cover of a US magazine and got exactly the online reaction she wanted.
Within hours of posting the image of her oiled-up, Photoshop-enhanced behind, the internet went to town on creating their own versions, from centaurs to docking stations.
Kim may have wanted to 'break the internet' but it seems she united the online world in finding the most comical way of parodying the lewd cover.
Kim's rear becomes the rump of a horse, turning the reality star into a centaur, who certainly wouldn't have been booted out of the Forbidden Forest.
The wife of Kanye West was then given the capital treatment by @AngryBritain, who joked that the Barclays Cycle Hire Docking Stations have been given a bootylicious makeover.
@GeneralBoles killed two celebrity birds with one stone by photoshopping Russell Brand's face onto Kim's derriere with a speech bubble exclaiming 'PARKLIFE!'
Food items has also been another way to describe Kim's glistening rear; from peaches and potatoes to glazed donuts the internet went to the market on comparisons.
And one user even compared the image of Kim to that of a Barbie doll, as @SarahKhalegh pointed out: 'Kim Kardashian literally looks like a plastic &unrealistic Barbie doll. Look at her waist in comparison to her body.'
'@MayorOfLondon unveils new style Boris Bike rack coming to the streets of the capital soon,' the parody tweeter posted with an image of Boris Johnson parking his bike between Kim's cheeks.

2015 Africa Cup of Nations: Morocco will no longer host the tournament for fear of ebola... who will step in as host?

Morocco will not host the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations because of its fears over the Ebola outbreak elsewhere on the continent, the Confederation of African Football (Caf) has confirmed.
Caf expelled Morocco,  who would have qualified as hosts, from the finals.
It did not announce a new venue for the tournament, due to take place from 17 January to 8 February.
But BBC Sport understands three nations have expressed an interest and the new host will be confirmed on Wednesday.
Morocco had been given until Saturday to make a final decision on whether or not it would host the tournament.
It had asked to postpone the competition until 2016.
Egypt has stated it will not host the tournament for "economic and political reasons", while 2013 and 2008 hosts South Africa and Ghana have also ruled themselves out of contention.
Gabon, who co-hosted in 2012 with Equatorial Guinea, has been mentioned, but they only have two stadiums available.
Angola hosted in 2010 and have the stadia and the financial ability to host at short notice.
Tunisia hosted in 2004 and has the venues, but recent political turmoil and violence at football matches might count them out.
Algeria is one of seven nations who have said they want to host the 2017 tournament and are the only ones who might be in a position to host earlier.
Nigeria has the stadia after hosting the under-17 World Cup in 2009 and a brand new facility in Akwa-Ibom state. But presidential elections are set for a week after the tournament.
Qualification matches for the tournament will continue as planned on 14 and 15 November to decide which 15 teams will join the new host country for the finals.
Morocco had expressed fears an influx of foreign fans could help spread the epidemic.
The North African country is scheduled to host Fifa's Club World Cup  next month, featuring Champions League winners Real Madrid.
It said it was willing to continue with its hosting duties for that tournament because it did not expect many supporters to travel from Ebola-affected regions.
The two African teams playing in the Club World Cup are from Morocco and Algeria.

Kim Kardashian goes completely naked for the cover of Paper magazine winter 2014 issue

Kim Kardashian goes completely naked for the cover of Paper magazine's winter 2014 issue. In one version of the cover photo, Kim can be seen showing off her well-oiled derriere while holding a black dress she just peeled off in each hand.

In another cover picture, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star poses in a black sequined long dress with a champagne glass perfectly balanced on her bottom, recreating French photographer Jean-Paul Goude's famous "Champagne Incident" shot. Both covers state, "Break the Internet Kim Kardashian."

Kim shared both photos on Instagram. She captioned one of the snaps, "Paper Magazine new cover alert! - such a honor to work with the legendary Jean-Paul Goude!!!! Shot this in Paris. Can't wait for you to see the the whole issue."

Kim later tweeted, "And they say I didn't have a talent... try balancing a champagne glass on your ass LOL #BreakTheInternet #PaperMagazine."

Di Maria was too wastful in possession- Carlo Ancelotti

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has said Angel Di Maria was too wasteful in possession, one of the reasons why the club was happy to let him go in the summer.
Di Maria was controversially sold to Manchester United for 59.7 million pounds in August, with many Blancos fans and pundits unhappy at the loss of a player who had taken a key role in last season's Champions League and Copa del Rey wins.
Ancelotti told Al Primer Toque that Di Maria's all-action style had been useful at times in "breaking" tight games, but said the Argentina international could also misplace passes at important times.
"[James] and Di Maria are very different players," he explained. "Di Maria could break games with his energy, but also sometimes he lost control -- he lost the ball in important moments."

America has been declared officially free from Ebola

America became officially free of the deadly virus Tuesday with the release of Dr. Craig Spencer, the New York doctor who fell ill with Ebola almost three weeks ago following a medical trip to Guinea, where the 33-year-old was treating the disease.
At a press conference announcing his recovery, New York Mayor Bill de Blasio dubbed him "a real hero" and said he's "come back really strong." Spencer gave the mayor and his wife a big hug to as the staff taking care of him erupted in applause.
"Today I am healthy and no longer infectious," Spencer said in a short statement, according to the New York Daily News. "Since I was admitted on Oct. 23, I have received an exceptional level of medical care, support and encouragement."
Clean bill of health: Spencer's release means it's been 41 days since the first case of Ebola was diagnosed in the U.S.
The first patient diagnosed with the virus, Thomas Eric Duncan, died on Oct. 8 in a Dallas hospital. After that, two nurses who contracted it from him, Amber Vinson and Nina Pham, were treated. Thankfully, an experimental drug helped them survive the infection, and they have fully recovered.
That was enough to plunge the country into panic. A joint Washington Post-ABC News survey conducted in late October revealed that more than two-thirds of Americans were worried about an Ebola outbreak spreading across the country.
With Spencer's clean bill of health plus the lack of any new cases in weeks, perhaps Americans will finally get a grip. And better yet, we can stop dressing like this:

David Moyes named Real Sociedad new manager

David Moyes has been named as the new coach of La Liga side Real Sociedad on a year-and-a-half deal.
Moyes, who was axed by Manchester United in April following a dismal first season in charge at Old Trafford, has been handed a contract until June 2016 with the Spanish outfit.
"The Royal Society has reached an agreement with David Moyes to be the first team coach until 30 June 2016," a statement on Sociedad's official website read.
Moyes left United just 10 months into a six-year contract after being named as the successor to Sir Alex Ferguson in the summer of 2013.
Moyes' first game in charge is set to be the trip to promoted Deportivo La Coruna after the international break.
Moyes becomes the fourth British manager of the San Sebastian-based outfit, following in the footsteps of Englishman Harry Lowe and Welsh duo John Toshack and Chris Coleman.

Liverpool Striker 'Mario Balotelli' partied at London nightclub after defeat to chelsea

He may be struggling to find the back of the net since his £16million move to Liverpool in the summer, but Mario Balotelli appears to have no problem locating London's nightclubs.
The misfiring striker was spotted partying the night away at celebrity haunt Libertine on Saturday - hours after his team folded in a 2-1 defeat by Premier League table-toppers Chelsea.
In fact, the 24-year-old appeared quite dedicated to soaking up as much of the British capital's night-life as he could, staying at the club until 4:30am.
As he finally made his exit, Mario appeared intent on going incognito, attempting to cover his face with the hood of his velvet black sleeveless top as he walked underneath a large red umbrella.

The flamboyant star dressed in his usual eye-catching style, opting for an all-black ensemble that would have captured attention even if he hadn't been one of the football world's better known faces.
Former Manchester City player Balotelli had his arms on full display, thanks to the fitted top under his black-and-gold outerwear.
He teamed it with a pair of cropped black harem trousers, while he strode along in a pair of metallic hi-tops, giving just as much shine as the selection of gold chains adorning his neck.

Chelsea midfielder 'Oscar' extended stay with the blues with a new contract until 2019

One picture saw the "We Can't Stop" singer holding and brushing pot-bellied Bubba Sue while a friend was painting the animal's toenails. Another was a close-up snapshot of the pig's new flaming red nails. "Pig gonna be lookin fresh," so she captioned the pic.

While Miley and her friend were laughing in the photo, many of her fans were not amused. They were concerned that the animal was being exposed to potentially harmful chemicals in the nail polish, while some others quickly came to the star's defense.

Brendan Rodgers disappointed with Referee Anthony after penalty snub in Liverpool's defeat to Chelsea

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers was disappointed his side were not given what he described as a "clear penalty" in their 2-1 Premier League defeat against Chelsea at Anfield.
The Reds took a ninth-minute lead through Emre Can's deflected effort before Gary Cahill levelled five minutes later. Diego Costa's 67th-minute strike sealed victory as the Spain international scored his 10th goal in just his 12th game for the Blues.
However, it was the non-award of the penalty by referee Anthony Taylor which was the main talking point, after a shot from Steven Gerrard hit the arm of Cahill in the area late on.
"It was a clear one," Rodgers told BT Sport 1.
"We worked so hard in the game, we need those decisions. It was quite obvious, it hits his hand, it was a clear clear penalty and the referee has a clear view of it. The players gave everything and we deserved at least a point."
It was Liverpool's fifth league defeat of the season.
