Petr Cech has said his future at Chelsea "depends entirely upon the
club" because he has two years left on his Stamford Bridge contract.
The Czech Republic international goalkeeper has lost his first-team
place to Belgium's Thibaut Courtois -- a development that has seen him hint at a move during the transfer window.
But Cech, 32, said he remained committed to the Blues, and would wait and see whether they made any decision on his future.
"Everyone is asking me what if and what will happen," he told Czech news agency CTK in quotes reported by Sky Sports. "As a player who has two years left on his contract, I cannot make the choice.
"It is simple. If the club says: 'You are staying here,' then I will
be staying. I can only leave if the club lets me go, and that is not the
case.
"As a player with a two-year contract, I have absolutely no chance of influencing the wishes of the club.
"I am doing my best to change the situation. I want to play as often
as possible and be prepared to be as good as possible for the fixtures
what will come in the new year."
