Kanye West finally joins Instagram and got over half a million followers within an hour

02:05:00    No comments

Every moment of the Kardashian clan's lives seems to play out on our screens - whether it's on TV, Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
Kanye West , rapper and husband of Kim , often appears in his wife's Insta snaps but he's avoided setting up his own - that is, until now.
Last night a verified Instagram account appeared in his name, sending Taylor Swift fans into a frenzy (he is, of course, in an ongoing feud with the pop star).
On Sunday afternoon he posted his first every Instagram picture to his followers - he's already got over half a million of them.
This is a big moment, so what's he going to choose?
Will it be a selfie with his wife? A snap with his beloved children, North and Saint? Or a photo of some Yeezy trainers?
No, this is what Kanye chose to post:
As eagle-eyed film fans have pointed out, this snap is a scene from Total Recall.
The film, which was released way back in 1990, starred Arnold Schwarzenegger as a bored construction worker in the year 2084 who dreams of visiting the colonized Mars.

Beyonce Knowles lost her chance to win her first ever Emmy Award. Being nominated for Outstanding Directing for a Variety Special alongside Kahlil Joseph for her visual album "Lemonade", she lost it out to "Grease Live" directors Thomas Kail and Alex Rudzinski.
While Beyonce has not reacted to her loss, her fans are clearly displeased with the result. Many took to Twitter to express their disappointment at the Television Academy. "the emmys itself should have been in the in memoriam section since it disrespected beyonce," one user wrote.
"i truly do not understand how our queen and lord and savior and goddess and supreme ruler did not win. #emmys #LEMONADE," another tweep reacted. Another asked, "Why didn't @Beyonce win? I need answers! #Emmys." Some people posted scenes of Beyonce in "Lemonade" smashing car windows.
Some others took their anger on the winner, "Grease Live". " 'Stupid Grease?!??' - my 8yo Bea about Bey's loss #emmys," someone posted. Other users wrote, "Boycotting hair grease now that Grease beat Beyonce" and "we now live in a world where Grease Live beat Beyonce."

Bobby Brown is pleased Nick Gordon has been found legally responsible for daughter's death

Bobby Brown is "pleased" that Nick Gordon has been found "legally responsible" for the death of his daughter.
Bobbi Kristina Brown tragically passed away in July 2015, six months after she was found unresponsive in a bath tub and her father is glad to have some answers after a judge found her former fiancé legally responsible for her death.
He told People magazine in a statement: "I am pleased with the outcome
of today's court proceedings.
"All I ever wanted was answers relating to who and what caused my daughter's death. Today's judgment tells me it was Nick Gordon. Now I need to process all the emotions I have and lean on God to get me and my family through this."
The decision by the judge was made after Nick failed to show at two civil wrongful death hearings.
R. David Ware, a lawyer for the conservator of Bobbi Kristina's estate, said: "In court today, we finally finished a long journey for justice for Bobbi Kristina Brown. The court agrees with us, by striking Mr. Gordon's answer that he is legally responsible for her death.
"The only thing left to prove is the value of her life. We intend to do that ... It's not a criminal case but it doesn't have to be.
"We want to legally establish he was responsible for her injuries the proceeded her death and we've done that today."
Speaking outside of court, Bobbi Kristina's aunt Leolah Brown added: "It's been a long time. They should have gotten him. He should have been arrested. I'm angry. I'm angry because I want to see some justice. Something has to happen and it has to happen soon."
Following the decision, a jury will now be tasked with deciding what damages Nick will have to pay to the late star's estate.

Kim Kardashian celebrate BFF Stephanie Sheppard's birthday as she flaunt her beautiful derriere in Instagram snap

08:42:00    No comments

Kim Kardashian shared FOUR incredibly gorgeous snaps of herself on Instagram under the guise of celebrating her BFF Steph's birthday - some didn't even feature her pal and instead flaunted Kim's beautiful derriere.
While the reality star is known for often posting unflattering photos of friends and family on their birthdays (Kylie being a frequent target), it seems Kim is very aware of the selfish habit - which sees her only choosing the photos she herself looks best in.
So as Kim posted one photo after another featuring her fabulous bikini body from a photoshoot in Punta Mita, Mexico last month, she did so with her tongue in her cheek.
The first photo playfully victimizing Steph showed Kim bending over, showing off her toned legs in a bikini, with only her assistant's shadow visible with the caption: 'Happy Birthday @steph_shep I love this pic of us!'
While another offered a view of the reality star's behind as she glamorously shook out her dark mane of hair.
In this image Steph's face is right behind Kim's derriere as she can be seen unfortunately stuffing her mouth full of food.
Kim wickedly captioned it: 'Seriously @steph_shep thanks for always having my back and eating all my left overs so they don't go to waste!'

Mariah Carey flaunts a close-up shot of her huge cleavage to mark the start of her holiday

08:25:00    No comments

Mariah Carey has NEVER been shy about showing off her figure.
So what better way for her to announce that she's taking a much-needed holiday than by posing for a close-up shot of her boobs - in a lacy bra?
The Hero hitmaker finished up her Las Vegas residency last Friday and was quick to jet off to Greece for some R'n'R.
Sharing the news with her fans, she uploaded several sexy snaps of herself to Instagram on Tuesday.
Celebrating her break, Mariah posed in a very revealing red bra that featured some black lace detailing and looked like it struggled to contain her ample assets.
She teamed it with some fishnet stockings and a fuschia silk chemise that draped over her shoulders.
She captioned the first of the three snaps: "Vacation begins!"
One image sees her lying back on a white pillow with her long hair spread out around her and with her hands perched just above her chest.
In the second snapshot, she's sitting up to look at the camera and writes: "Greetings #Greece."
In the third photo, a sleepy-looking Mariah grasps the chemise around her upper thigh and captions the pic: "Goodnight."

A giant meteor dubbed World's second biggest space rock has been discovered buried in a field in Argentina

04:12:00    No comments

A giant meteor has been found buried five-metres down in a field in Argentina.
The huge space rock , which weighs around 30 tonnes, was unearthed by scientists in an area called Campo del Cielo, which loosely translates to “Sky Field,” or “Field of Heaven”.
The meteorite was discovered last weekend by researchers from the Chaco Association of Astronomy.
The society's president, Mario Vesconi, told local media that finding the rock "was a big surprise".
“The meteorite was buried about 5 metres deep and has a width of almost two metres,” Vesconi said while talking to En Compactonea .
The 30,800kg boulder has been named "Gancedo meteorite".
The Field of Heaven is nestled in the provinces of Chaco and Santiago del Estero, just north-west of the Argentine capital of Buenos Aires.
The site is covered in craters, IFL says . They came from an iron meteor shower around 4,000 years ago. The largest crater measures 91 metres across.
Some believe the finding is the second largest meteorite ever found. The largest, known as Hoba, weighs 60 tonnes and lies in Namibia, Africa.
As yet, nobody knows the 'value' of the new rock, but local politician Livio Gutierrez called it a "milestone" – and hopes it attracts more tourism.

North Korea celebrates nuclear test by holding a strange demonstration in Pyongyang

02:44:00    No comments

North Korea has hosted an eerie mass rally to celebrate the country's successful nuclear test, despite widespread international outrage.
The strange demonstration took place in the centre of the secretive state 's capital Pyongyang.
North Korea's state-run television KRT today aired a video of the epic celebration, in which countless thousands of residents moved in spooky synchronicity.
On Friday, Pyongyang set off its most powerful nuclear blast to date, saying it had mastered the ability to mount a warhead on a ballistic missile, ratcheting up a threat that its rivals and the United Nations have been powerless to contain.
KRT showed thousands of North Korean citizens and soldiers along with high-ranking government officials attending the rally and chanting in Pyongyang's Kim Il Sung square.
However, the isolated state's leader Kim Jong Un was not seen in the video and KRT did not specify the date of celebration.
During the rally, a senior government official hailed the reclusive country's successful nuclear test.
"The standardisation of the nuclear warhead will enable to produce at will and as many as it wants a variety of smaller, lighter and diversified nuclear warheads of higher strike power," said Kim Ki Nam, North Korea's vice chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).
South Korea said yesterday the North is ready to conduct an additional nuclear test at any time.
On Tuesday, two US B-1 bombers flew over South Korea in a show of force and solidarity with its ally.

Kim Kardashian has decided to forego the high glamour and mounds of make-up for a more laid back look as she battles sickness.
On Tuesday, the mum-of-two kept her head down when she was spotted returning to her luxury New York Airbnb apartment sans make-up and sporting a messy mane of unbrushed hair.
The star, who has been in New York for the last few weeks to support husband Kanye West during Fashion Week, was dressed in an all black outfit made up of long cut-off denim shorts, a long black baggy T-shirt and a black bomber jacket.
Kim, who told her fans she was feeling under the weather in a Snapchat video, finished off the casual ensemble with her pair of favourite Givenchy mink slides.
"I'm sick in bed. I can't believe I got sick. It's so annoying," she said while lying in bed with a face mask on.
It's a very different look to the one Kim is sporting on her latest magazine cover.
The reality star poses up in fishnet stockings, huge white underwear, and a puffy jacket - adding a giant veil to the ensemble for the dramatic cover photo.

"How many y'all heard about what the Vice President said about me?" he asks the crowd. "Cops kill innocent black folk every day and Quail's comin' after me?" The next scenes show him getting roughed up by cops, firing guns and having an intense conversation with his mother Afeni (Danai Guira). Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has showed off his luxurious collection of super cars at the German Nurburgring race track.
The total value of the cars is estimated to be £8.5million, which included a very rare Pagani Zonda R, one of just 15 that have ever been produced with a price tag of approximately £2.5million.
The 49-year-old took his rides for a spin on former business partner and fellow Russian oligarch Viktor Kharitonin's world-famous track.
Kharitonin closed the track for two days in order for the billionaires to play with their toys.
Abramovich also brought a Ferrari FXX, a Bugatti Veyron, a Ferrari 488 GT3, a Mercedes-Benz AMG GT3, a Lamborghini Reventon and an Aston Martin Vulcan.
A Nurburgring instructor, Tatiana Golovlyovo, said: "Usually track days are organised for the owner of the Nurburgring, Viktor Kharitonin. This is an exclusive event for the owner and his friends, nobody else (apart from the staff and crew working for event) can enter the property."
Reports suggest the businessmen spent the first day racing on the ‘Nordschleife’ (‘Northern Loop’), which covers 13 miles.
The second day involved the shorter GP Strecke, which spans 3.2 miles.
The Russian moguls also tested the entire range of the Porsche sports cars and the single-seated "Formula-BMW" vehicles throughout the event.

Miss America 2017: Miss Arkansas Savvy Shields beat out 51 other contestants to claim the crown

02:08:00    No comments

Miss Arkansas Savvy Shields is the newest Miss America. The 21-year-old beauty beat out 51 other contestants vying for the coveted title during the pageant taking place on Sunday night, September 11 at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

At this year's event, hosted by Chris Harrison and Sage Steele, 15 contestants got to move on to the swimsuit portion of the competition and 12 of them were announced to compete in the evening gown portion. Later that night, ten semifinalists showed off their talents, but only seven ladies had the chance to impress judges during the Q&A portion. The girls, who included Miss New York, Miss Washington, Miss Mississippi, Miss South Carolina, Miss Arkansas, Miss Maryland and Miss Tennessee, were asked various questions about politics by judges like Ciara, Mark Cuban, Cole Swindell and Gabby Douglas.
Asked to give her opinions on Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, Shields answered, "If you're trying to be leader of the free world, everything you say and do matters. And all of your actions are held to a higher standard." "And unfortunately, the media does love to sensationalize everything. It's hard to decide what is truth and what is truly scandal," she continued. "Both of the contestants have done a good job, but they also need to watch what they're doing."

Shields was crowned Miss America 2017 by her predecessor Betty Cantrell, who was representing Georgia when winning last year's competition. Miss South Carolina Rachel Wyatt was the night's first runner-up, followed by the second runner-up Miss New York Camille Sims.
