John Obi Mikel is not on the verge of agreeing a transfer from Chelsea to Inter Milan, according to his agent.
John Shittu, who represents the Nigeria international, has told KickOffNigeria reports linking the midfielder with a move after eight years at Stamford Bridge were speculation.
Mikel, who has made over 30 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions
so far this season, is happy to continue at the Premier League side.
"As far as we are concerned, this is all speculation. Of course it is normal for clubs to show interest," Shittu said.
"But the player has not said he wants to leave, and the club has not said they want him to go.
"There is always contact all the time from different clubs here and there, but he still has three years left on his contract."
