Meet the Most Notorious Womanizers in Sports History

Magic Johnson

Meet the Most Notorious Womanizers in Sports History

Magic’s love life seemed all fun and games as he admitted to having sex with around 300 people per year for a few years. However, his life took a turn in 1991, when he admitted to being infected with HIV.

At this point in time he announced he had “lost count” of his number and said he had absolutely no idea which girl that he got it from.

The devastating news forced him to retire his career with the LA Lakers. 21 years later, Magic is still active with his foundation, which attempts to decrease the occurrence of HIV/Aids in vulnerable.

He was able to get married and have a child, neither of which are HIV positive. Overall, Johnson’s reputation went from promiscuous in the 90′s to an honorable role model now.

Cristiano Ronaldo

Meet the Most Notorious Womanizers in Sports History

Ronaldo’s case is also unique because he only has one child (Cristiano Ronaldo Jr.). The biggest speculation of his case was who was the baby mama?

She wasn’t seen for the first year or so of her child’s birth. The ultimate ruling was that it was a 25-year old student that couldn’t afford her child so she let Ronaldo have custody.

However, there is speculation that Ronaldo was paying her to keep hush about who she was. Besides that, Ronaldo has dated numerous women, including celebrities Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton and Imogen Thomas.

The Real Madrid star has now settled down and is in a two-year relationship with model Irina Shayk.

“Gay weddings will be done soon. At the moment in Luxembourg, we have to change the situation of marriage, religion and divorce laws. But I don’t think it’ll be in the next five years – it’ll be next year.” Prime Minister Bettel promised.

Mandela was never a revolutionary, always a radical - Gary Younge

Critics trying to prove or disprove Mandela's sanctity failed to grasp that he was simply a political leader guiding his country through transition

A fitting way to commemorate Nelson Mandela is to describe his arrival in the townships during the first democratic elections in 1994. The crowds travelled up to 100 miles in cattle trucks or minibuses to get to places that apartheid had deliberately made remote and barren. Then they waited for hours, in a ramshackle stadium with little shade. Despite being punctual in his personal life, Mandela on the campaign trail was always late: a victim of overambitious scheduling and inefficient minders.

Finally, the crowds saw his cavalcade throw up dust in the distance, and they began to sing the campaign song Sekunjalo Ke Nako (Now is the Time). Everyone started to dance, ululations and cheers growing in intensity. Many of those present had not seen Mandela even on TV, and knew his face only from posters and newspaper pictures. Flags and placards hoisted above heads created a ripple at first, then a wave of excitement on a sea of black, gold and green.
