'Game of Thrones' Cast sign for Season 7 with big pay

"Game of Thrones" has secured the main cast through a potential season 7. The principal actors, who were initially signed through six seasons of the show, have signed new contracts that extend their stay on the hit HBO series until a possible seventh season.

As part of the deal, the actors reportedly get big pay raises. Emilia Clarke, Kit Harington, Lena Headey, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Peter Dinklage, who are included in the "A" tier, are paid at the highest level, The Hollywood Reporter says. According to Deadline, they fivesome will receive close to $300,000 an episode.

Maisie Williams, Natalie Dormer and Sophie Turner, who are listed among the "B" tier, also get salary increases in exchange for season seven options. Even other regular actors of a lower tier are getting pay increases, although smaller than the "A" and "B" classes.

"Game of Thrones" is currently filming season 5 in several countries, including Spain. U.S. Ambassador to Spain James Costos says that the show's production in the country has already boosted local tourism by 15 percent just two weeks into filming. "The intial information shows that Seville and Osuna, the two locations for the shoot, have already increased their visitor numbers around 15 percent," Costos says.

U.S. producers have been calling the embassy about shooting in Spain since "Game of Thrones" announced it would shoot parts of the fifth season in the southern part of the country. Moreover, the production of the medieval fantasy series attracted more than 86,000 people to auditions when Spanish production company Fresco Film said it needed 600 extras for "Game of Thrones".

Arsenal's midfielder 'Mesut Ozil' working out in the gym with kneel brace

Arsenal's Mesut Ozil is battling back to fitness, with his knee still in a brace following the injury he sustained against Chelsea earlier this month.
Ozil and Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger were shocked when it was revealed that the Germany World Cup winner had suffered a "serious knee injury" in the defeat at Stamford Bridge, with ligament damaged only identified by German national team doctors several days after the incident.
It seems likely that Ozil will not play first team football again in 2014, but he revealed that he is doing all he can to stay fit and tweeted a picture of himself working out in the gym on Thursday.
Wenger has refused to put a timescale on Ozil's recovery, insisting that the belated detection of the injury was not the fault of the Arsenal medical staff.
"We have our own specialist giving us his opinion after reading the scan and examining Mesut," he said. "We will follow our own recommendations."

Manchester United sign a commercial deal with Chi Limited in Nigeria

On Wednesday, United announced yet another commercial deal - this time with Chi Limited to become the club's official soft drinks partner in Nigeria.
The multi-year deal allows Chi Limited to use United's crest and club imagery on their products in Nigeria.
For United, the deal will boost their coffers further as they look to continue to fund their incredible spending on players through commercial tie-ups.
It has been a busy week for United's commercial department as they signed up IVC as the club’s first ‘official Chinese wellness partner’ on Monday.
Clubs signing up a myriad of sponsors and partners is nothing new, but few have the breadth of deals United can boast. How many clubs do you know with an 'official Chinese wellness partner'?
And how many clubs can count the Hong Kong Jockey Club as an official partner?
A look at United's tie-ins provides an insight into how far and wide United have cast the net.
As well as an 'official Chinese wellness' partner and Nigerian soft drinks partner, United have a global noodle partner (Nissin Foods Group), gaming partner in Japan (Gloops), an official paint partner (Kansai Paint) and a tyre partner in UK and India (Apollo Tyres).

The Kardashian Sisters celebrates with Bruce Jenner on his 65 birthday

Bruce Jenner was surrounded by beautiful women during his belated birthday celebration on Wednesday, October 29 at Geoffrey's restaurant in Malibu. The former athlete, who turned 65 on October 28, was joined by daughters Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner as well as Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian.

Kim posted on Instagram a picture from the family gathering. "Family lunch #Bruce'sBDay #Malibu," she captioned it. Khloe shared a similar photo, simply writing along with it, "The Family." Kris Jenner, who is currently in divorce process with Bruce, was absent from the event.

"You can tell they love Bruce very much. They all seem very close to him. They all seemed happy to be together," an onlooker tells E! News. The girls reportedly brought some gifts for Bruce and they stayed at the venue for about two hours.

A day before, Bruce received some birthday wishes from his daughters and sons. Kendall wrote, "happy birthday to my dad, my everything!" Kylie said on Instagram, "happy birthday daddio I love you," while Brandon Jenner wrote along with a pic of his father riding a horse, "Happy birthday to this cowboy! Love you dad." Kim also congratulated him, writing, "Bruce!!!! Happy Birthday!!!!! You're officially a senior citizen! Lol have the best birthday ever!!"

On the same day, Bruce treated himself to a pampering session. He got red-hot manicure which was then removed before the birthday celebration with his daughters and the Kardashian sisters.

Yaya Toure and David Silva injury worries City ahead of sunday's derby

Premier League champions Manchester City were given a double injury worry ahead of Sunday's derby after David Silva and Yaya Toure came off with problems in their Capital One Cup defeat to Newcastle.
Silva suffered a knee injury while Toure struggled with his groin as the holders City were beaten 2-0 at home and both will be assessed on Thursday.
World Cup winner Silva hurt his knee in a fourth-minute challenge with Ryan Taylor and was replaced a few minutes later by Samir Nasri, who made his first appearance since September after recovering from a groin injury.
Manager Manuel Pellegrini said in his postgame conference: "David has a problem in his knee. I don't know how serious it is. We will see tomorrow with the doctor."
Toure played on after going down in pain after a tackle by Mehdi Abeid but was eventually substituted and Pellegrini added: "Yaya has a problem with his groin."
Pellegrini defended his decision to select Silva, saying he had planned to bring Samir Nasri, who made his comeback after a month out with groin surgery, on for the Spain international.

Zambian President 'Michael Sata' is dead, age 77

Zambian President Michael Sata has died at the age of 77 after receiving treatment for an undisclosed illness, the government says.
President Sata, who was being treated in the UK, died in London's King Edward VII hospital on Tuesday night.
Media said that he died after "a sudden onset [of] heightened heart rate".
It is not immediately clear who will succeed the president. The issue may be decided by the Zambian cabinet which meets on Wednesday morning.
"It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing on of our beloved president," cabinet secretary Roland Msiska said.
His death comes just days after Zambia celebrated the 50th anniversary of independence from the UK.
Earlier this month reports in Zambia said that President Sata had gone abroad for a medical check-up amid persistent speculation that he was seriously ill.
After he left the country, Defence Minister Edgar Lungu was named as acting president.
Vice-President Guy Scott has regularly stood in for the president at official events. But he is of Scottish descent and his parents were not born in Zambia, so he may fall foul of a constitutional clause on parentage which would nullify his candidacy.
Known as "King Cobra" for his venomous tongue, Mr Sata was elected Zambia's president in 2011.

Jose Mourinho blame Vicente del Bosque for Diego Costa's injury troubles

Jose Mourinho thinks Spain coach Vicente del Bosque is the man to blame for Diego Costa's recent injury troubles.
Costa began the season in prolific fashion, scoring nine goals in seven matches, but he has missed Chelsea's last three fixtures because of a persistent hamstring injury.
The former Atletico Madrid man had also been suffering from a cold in the build-up to Sunday's match against Manchester United, but Mourinho revealed it was injury, rather than illness that ruled the 32 million pounds signing out of the match at Old Trafford.
The striker has been troubled by the hamstring problem for some time, but Mourinho believes it was exacerbated by Spain coach Del Bosque, who fielded the 26-year-old for back-to-back games against Slovakia and Luxembourg at the start of October.
"The virus is fine," the Chelsea manager said. "It was hard, he had to go to the hospital and obviously it doesn't help him to recover from his injury. But he didn't play on Sunday because of the injury, not because of the virus.
"Diego has the hamstring [problem] because he played two matches in three days when he was not with us."
Mourinho voiced his concern over a lack of communication with Del Bosque and other national coaches earlier this month and the problem still clearly concerns him.
When asked whether he hoped Costa's injury problems were now over, Mourinho replied: "But he still has [to play for] the national team in November!"
For the immediate future, Mourinho looks as though he will be able to depend on the striker.
"I think so," replied the Portuguese when asked if Costa would be fit for Saturday's Premier League game against QPR.
Mourinho confirmed the Brazil-born front man would not travel to Shrewsbury for Tuesday's Capital One Cup fourth round match against the League Two side.
Given that he is 36 years old, Didier Drogba will need to "sleep for 24 hours" after his exertions at Old Trafford and will therefore miss Tuesday's game.
With Loic Remy out through injury, Andre Schurrle is expected to lead the line at New Meadow, although young forward Dominic Solanke could also feature.
Mourinho confirmed in a post-match briefing at Old Trafford that Schurrle, Mohamed Salah, Kurt Zouma, John Obi Mikel and 19-year-old midifelder Lewis Baker will play at Shrewsbury.

FIFA unveils list of Ballon d'Or candidates: Gareth Bale made the list

Wales forward Gareth Bale is the only player from the home nations on the 23-man shortlist for the Fifa 2014 men's world footballer of the year award.
Bale, 25, scored 22 goals for Real Madrid last season, as the La Liga side won the Champions League.
Five Premier League players in Thibaut Courtois, Diego Costa, Angel Di Maria, Eden Hazard and Yaya Toure have also been nominated for the Ballon d'Or.
Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo will be looking to retain the award.
Barcelona forward Lionel Messi, who has won the award three times in the last four years, is also on the shortlist, alongside team-mate Neymar.
The 23 shortlist will be reduced to three in December before the winners are announced on 12 January, 2015 in Zurich.
There is no place for Barcelona striker Luis Suarez, who played a crucial role in helping Uruguay qualify for the last 16 in Brazil but was suspended from all football-related activity for four months for biting Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini.
In terms of Premier League clubs, Chelsea have the most players on the list with three - Courtois, Costa and Hazard, with Manchester United (Di Maria) and Manchester City (Toure) each supplying one.
Real Madrid and Bayern Munich players dominate the list, with each club supplying six players.
World Cup winners Germany have the most players nominated with six, with Spain and Argentina three apiece and France and Belgium two each.
Wales, Portugal, Sweden, Brazil, Netherlands, Colombia and Ivory Coast each have one of their players in contention.
Carlo Ancelotti, who guided Real Madrid to the Champions League, Super Cup and Copa del Rey last season, has been nominated for the coach of the year award.
Chelsea's Jose Mourinho, Manchester City's Manuel Pellegrini and Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal, who guided Netherlands to the third place in the World Cup, are also on the 10-man list for the coach award, alongside World Cup winning coach Joachim Low.
Fifa world men's player of the year shortlist: Gareth Bale (Wales, Real Madrid), Karim Benzema (France, Real Madrid), Diego Costa (Spain, Chelsea), Thibaut Courtois (Belgium, Chelsea), Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal, Real Madrid), Angel Di Maria (Argentina, Manchester United), Mario Gotze (Germany, Bayern Munich), Eden Hazard (Belgium, Chelsea), Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Sweden, Paris St-Germain), Andres Iniesta (Spain, Barcelona), Toni Kroos (Germany, Real Madrid), Philipp Lahm (Germany, Bayern Munich), Javier Mascherano (Argentina, Barcelona), Lionel Messi (Argentina, Barcelona), Thomas Muller (Germany, Bayern Munich), Manuel Neuer (Germany, Bayern Munich), Neymar (Brazil, Barcelona), Paul Pogba (France, Juventus), Sergio Ramos (Spain, Real Madrid), Arjen Robben (Netherlands, Bayern Munich), James Rodriguez (Colombia, Real Madrid), Bastian Schweinsteiger (Germany, Bayern Munich), Yaya Toure (Ivory Coast, Manchester City).
Fifa coach of the year shortlist: Carlo Ancelotti (Real Madrid), Antonio Conte (Juventus/Italy national team), Pep Guardiola (Bayern Munich), Jurgen Klinsmann (USA national team), Joachim Low (Germany national team), Jose Mourinho (Chelsea), Manuel Pellegrini (Manchester City), Alejandro Sabella (Argentina national team), Diego Simeone (Atletico Madrid), Louis van Gaal (Netherlands national team/Manchester United).

She's got a long hair there but, not yet record-breaking

With her long golden hair, schoolgirl Katy White could be Wales' answer to fairytale heroine Rapunzel.
Katy, a pupil at Amman Valley Comprehensive, isn't short of admirers, who stop her to marvel at the length of her hair - which is almost the same height as her.
Katy, of Bishop Road, Ammanford, is 4ft 11in and her hair, which flows to the back of her knees, measures 3ft 4in.
'There was a time, when Katy was about six, when she decided to cut two big chunks out of the front of her hair,' said mother Barbara.

'I saw the hair in the bin and assumed Katy had thrown a doll away. When I pulled the hair out I turned around and saw that Katy had two huge steps in the front of her hair. Apart from that she's only ever had it trimmed at the hairdressers, and only three times.'
But as well as attracting admirers, Katy's hair also creates it own problems.
'It may be beautiful but it can also be pretty deadly,' laughed Barbara. 'She practices the martial art Choi Kwang Do, and to do that we have to put her hair in a plait.
'The only problem is that when she spins, her hair whips round, and people have to move out of the way. It's like a secret weapon.'
On average, Katy's hair takes an hour to wash and just as long to dry. 'People stop me to ask about my hair all the time, I'm used to it now,' said Katy.
'I can't imagine having it cut, although I do have it tied back most of the time, especially when I'm in school.'
Despite its head-turning capabilities, a spokesperson from the Guinness World Record said Katy's hair is not yet record-breaking but added: 'That is some long hair for a girl of her age.'
Asha Mandela and her 55ft long dreadlocks currently hold the world title.

Louis van Gaal was furious with Van Persie for pulling-off his shirt after injury time goal against Chelsea

Louis van Gaal claimed Manchester United’s fighting spirit will take them back into the top four after Robin van Persie’s last minute equaliser against Chelsea.
But the United boss criticised his striker’s ‘stupid’ reaction in ripping off his shirt after scoring the goal, earning him a booking.
United were seconds away from their third defeat this season when Van Persie smashed the ball home beyond 10-man Chelsea’s defence, the first goal of the Van Gaal era in what used to be known as ‘Fergie time’.
Van Gaal said: ‘Chelsea tried to kill the game, they made the pitch big and we had to run a lot but we fought till the end.
‘When we scored it was deserved. We created a lot of chances - far more than Chelsea.
Van Gaal admitted he was furious with Van Persie for ripping his shirt off after scoring. ‘It was a stupid reaction after the goal,’ he said. ‘I can see he was excited but after he was booked it was not so smart.’

Scientists have developed a new method to Target and Kill Cancer

Scientists have developed a new method for fighting cancer that involves unleashing killer stem cells specially created to fight the disea
A team of researchers from Massachusetts General Hospital and the Harvard Stem Cell Institute have successfully tested the method on mice and published the findings in the journal Stem Cells. By engineering stem cells to secrete a toxin that kills cancer cells, they were able to remove brain cancer from the mice without harming any healthy cells.
"Cancer-killing toxins have been used with great success in a variety of blood cancers, but they don't work as well in solid tumours because the cancers aren't as accessible and the toxins have a short half-life," lead author Khalid Shah told BBC News. "Now, we have toxin-resistant stem cells that can make and release cancer-killing drugs."
In other words, if this method proves successful, doctors may actually be able to target cancer cells — and only cancer cells — to destroy them while leaving others unharmed, which would be a major revolution in the field of cancer treatment.
How it works: The researchers first took mice with brain cancer and surgically removed their tumors. They then extracted the genetically engineered stem cells, which were placed at the former tumor site in the form of a gel.
Because the stem cells were designed to produce a toxin that kills cancer cells, the big challenge was making sure the toxin didn't kill healthy brain cells or other stem cells. Luckily, this part was a success, and this success is what makes this potential treatment method so exciting.
The next step, Shah said, is to try the process using different types of cancers. He told BBC News he hopes there can be clinical trials in the next five years.
What it means: This doesn't mean we can now cure brain cancer, since the technique has yet to be tested on humans and will likely require plenty of work before it can be used outside of a laboratory environment.
Still, this is good news. The deadly and complex disease that it is, finding any new and promising method to fight cancer is always a step in the right direction. And from the initial findings of this stem cell treatment method, experts are calling this a major step in cancer treatment research.
"This is a clever study, which signals the beginning of the next wave of therapies," Chris Mason, professor of regenerative medicine at University College London, told BBC News. "Cells can do so much. This is the way the future is going to be."

Chelsea should have had a first-half penalty- Jose Mourinho

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho indicated that he was unhappy with referee Phil Dowd after his side were denied all three points by a 94th-minute Robin van Persie equaliser for Manchester United in a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.
The Premier League leaders had gone in front when Didier Drogba, deputising for the injured Diego Costa, headed home a corner early in the second half.
But after Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic had been sent off for a second yellow card following a foul on Angel Di Maria, Van Persie slammed home a rebound from the free-kick to level.
Mourinho made it clear he was unhappy with that decision and also felt Chelsea should have had a first-half penalty when Ivanovic went to the ground under a Chris Smalling challenge from a first-half corner.
"The red card, I could see it coming," he said. "If I have to speak about the second yellow I have to speak about lots of things -- the penalty that Ivanovic should have been given, the accumulation of yellow cards, the throw-ins. I know I speak always with my heart and get in trouble."
But he praised his team for a second-half performance that had seemed increasingly likely to bring all three points, saying: "For me as a coach it's not fair to speak about Didier [Drogba], because my team was fantastic. They were brilliant.
"The second half was much better. From the start of the first half, we showed we wanted to win.
"In the second half, we didn't give them chances they wanted. To come here to Old Trafford the way we did -- it was fantastic by my boys."
After a weekend that saw both Manchester City, who lost at West Ham, and Liverpool, held at home by Hull, drop points, Mourinho said: "We don't look to others, we look to ourselves.
"Old Trafford is one most dangerous fixtures we have had. The result is not the result we want, but the way we performed means we don't need to look to others.
"After nine matches, we are top of the league with four points difference. We have also played away at Manchester United and Manchester City."

El Clasico: Real Madrid beat Barcelona 3-1 in Bernabeu

Real Madrid took the clasico crown as they beat Barcelona 3-1 in the first meeting of the two Spanish giants this season.
With Luis Suarez handed a starting berth for the first time, Neymar opened the scoring for Barca inside five minutes with a wonderful curling effort as he picked up the ball and slotted it coolly past Iker Casillas.
Real Madrid had to re-establish their grip on the game and they did so through right back Marcelo driving into the penalty area on 34 minutes.
His cross induced Gerard Pique to collapse to the ground in an attempt to block and in doing so handling the ball. The penalty was inevitable as was the finish from Ronaldo: a crisp, unstoppable striker into the bottom right hand corner.
With the scores level, finally the game calmed for a brief period. It could hardly not, having been played at such intensity, pace and verve for the previous 35 minutes. Even Suarez must have been desperate for the break.
The brief truce couldn’t survive half time. Messi played in Dani Avles, flying forward, on 47 minutes but his cross was blocked as Suarez lurked once more, ready for his moment.
Real responded pouring forward, as Benzema released Ronaldo. As he shaped to shoot a goal beckoned, but Pique, sliding in, blocked for the corner.
No matter. Toni Kroos trotted away to take the kick and delivered beautifully, a cross full of pace and precision that was signposted for Pepe at the far post. The Portuguese connected as a centre half should: heading the ball firmly, resolutely into the bottom corner.
The Bernabeu was itself again, full of noise and confidence and twirling scarves. Barcelona hadn’t conceded in La Liga this season; it was a record always unlikely to survive this outing.
Not that they would retreat. Sergio Ramos needed a crucial sliding clearance to prevent Messi from connecting with a Neymar pull back, which would almost certainly have led to an equaliser. Even then, Jeremy Mathieu hit a remarkable strike from 35 yards which Casillas dived to save spectacularly.
But the flow of the game was with Carlo Ancelotti’s men. Barca looked to be tiring and Iniesta as good as confirmed the fact with an uncharacteristic lazy touch that allowed Isco to break and feed Ronaldo, who turned and played the ball to James.
The Colombian touched a pass on to the advancing Benzema, who finished quite splendidly, pulling his shot across goal and past Claudio Bravo.
Barca’s suddenly appeared terribly brittle and vulnerable, exposed frequently at the back by the pace and width of Real. Mascherano’s fine sliding challenge prevented Ronaldo adding to the scoring on 65 minutes.
Minutes later Dani Alves needed to do the same to stop that man again, leaving the world player of the year in a complaining, crumpled heap. Suarez departed on 68 minutes: he had run his course, done his best but ultimately, it looked to be in vain.

Pregnant Shakira shares a picture with partner 'Gerard Pique' on Instagram

In a new Instagram snap of the Colombian singer with her soccer star partner Gerard Pique, he can be seen cradling her belly as they pose for the cameras.
Shakira, 37, ensured her stomach was on display in a plunging tight black top which she paired with skinny jeans and a metallic tuxedo jacket.
Her blonde hair was in wild curls around her face and she couldn't have looked happier.
Not surprising considering her handsome 27-year-old soccer star partner was standing beside her, dressed to impress in a dapper suit.
Shakira captioned the picture: 'Celebrated my partner Puig's 100th Anniversary tonight, and wearing my new favorite accessory, #Rock! Shak.'
The couple - who have been together for four years - recently announced they will be adding a second boy to their brood, after first welcoming son Milan 19 months ago.
Shakira is now five months into her pregnancy, which she revealed in the Spanish version of Cosmopolitan by saying: 'Yes, I'm pregnant.'

Ebola case: The two years old girl who was first confirmed of ebola in Mali is dead

The young girl who just two days ago  became the first confirmed case of Ebola in Mali has passed away.
The two-year-old  had recently arrived from neighboring Guinea, where the outbreak began.
The child was brought to a hospital in the Malian town of Kayes - which is about 375 miles from the capital of Bamako - on Wednesday, and her blood sample tested positive for the virus.
Now, there are new outbreak fears as WHO has revealed the girl was exposed to an unknown number of people while riding on buses.
This after it was reported yesterday, 'The condition of the girl, according to our services, is improving thanks to her rapid treatment.'
It was also reported yesterday that, 'The sick child and the people who were in contact with her in Kayes were immediately identified and taken care of.'
This has now been thrown into question with news that the girl had traveled with her grandmother hundreds of kilometers by bus from Guinea via Mali's capital to the western town of Kayes.
A health ministry official, who asked not to be identified, said the girl's mother died in Guinea a few weeks ago and the child was brought by relatives to Bamako, where she stayed for 10 days in the Bagadadji neighborhood before heading to Kayes.
Health officials have long viewed Mali as one of the most vulnerable to Ebola's spread as the nation borders Guinea - one of the hardest-hit countries - and Senegal.
The news emerged after the World Health Organisation (WHO) said just days ago that it had 'reasonable confidence' the Ebola virus plaguing three West African countries had not spread into neighboring states.

Louis van Gaal claims he is made of a bit iron

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has claimed he is "made of iron" and will not get drawn into the mind games that are so often played between the top Premier League managers.
Van Gaal insisted that he was not fond of his nickname of "The Iron Tulip" shortly after his arrival at United, but the Dutchman may have given that tag fresh impetus after claiming he will not be drawn into public verbal sparring matches with the likes of Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho or Arsenal chief Arsene Wenger.
Former United boss Sir Alex Ferguson was a master of trying to influence matches with some well placed pre-match comments, but Van Gaal stressed that is not his style.
"I'm made from a little bit of iron," Van Gaal told reporters. "So I have a shield, an iron shield. Everybody can write or speak about me and I cannot change that.
"It took me a long time to understand that, but I cannot change what you are writing about me. So I have learned not to react and to believe in myself, my players, my staff. That is important.
"Every human being reacts to what is said in his own way. You have to ask [Mourinho] why he reacts like he reacts, not me."

Corey is quoted as saying to OK!: 'I don’t know how anyone had those pics because no one was seated across from us.'
'That worries me and I’m hoping it’s not a setup from Kris because I do really like her.'

Kris certainly looked totally transfixed by her companion and appeared to be hanging on to his every word.
As the pair left the eatery at around 8:30 pm, Kris' date reportedly led her out of the restaurant with his hand on the small of her back.

Police to investigate Mario Balotelli after threatening his mum's neighbour for allegedly taking pictures of his £240,000 Ferrari

Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli is being investigated by police over claims he threatened his mother's neighbour for taking pictures of his £240,000 Ferrari. allegedly
Police were called to a housing estate in the Wythenshawe area of Manchester at 3pm yesterday, when the 24-year-old was reportedly visiting his mother Rose Barwuah.
The controversial Italian footballer parked his Ferrari F12 Berlinetta and a number of residents came out to take pictures before going back indoors.
Balotelli is then said to have come out to remonstrate with one neighbour.
The alleged victim told the Manchester Evening News that the former Manchester City striker stooped down to look through her front window before launching into a tirade as she came to the front door of the property.
The woman, who asked not to be named, was visiting her own mother at the time and said the footballer left her 'frightened and speechless' by the rant.
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: 'We are investigating a report of threatening behaviour. Officers will be speaking to all concerned in due course.'
The woman said: 'I hadn't even taken any pictures. He came and looked through the front window. He was wearing a black beanie hat and he gave me a bit of a fright.
'Then when I came to the door he was getting right near me and pointing in my face saying "you took pictures of my car" and I kept telling him "I didn't, I didn't".
'Then he said, "if you do anything with them, I'll come back, I'm warning you", which to me was a direct threat.
'I don't care who he is, I won't be threatened like that by anyone. He's a big guy and it was very frightening.'
The woman's mother said: 'When he was at City he'd come round all the time and sit with us, so for him to be so nasty is a shock.
'We used to cook him eggs, bacon and tomato and now he treats us like this. It's not on.'
Other neighbours said that Balotellihad always been friendly towards them while visiting his mother.
Brian Robinson, 76, said: 'I've had my photograph taken with him and he's always been pretty good. He likes to have a laugh and a joke with us.
'I guess he could get peeved with people pestering him for autographs. But he's always been OK with me.'
Hayley Ashton, 28, saw the striker leaving his mother's house on Thursday. She said: 'I didn't see him arguing with anybody.'
Pictures of the car on the road were taken by someone not involved in the incident.
Liverpool Football Club said they would not be commenting until all the facts had been established.

Luis Suarez admits he is getting help on his impulse to bite

Luis Suarez says he is getting help in order to control his "impulse" to bite.
The striker, 27, who will make his Barcelona debut against Real Madrid on Saturday, was banned for four months for biting Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini during the World Cup.
Admitting he had a problem, Suarez told the Guardian Weekend magazine: "It is like an impulse, like a reaction.
"I believe I am on the right path now, dealing with the people who can help me, the right kind of people."
Suarez's attack on Chiellini was the third time the Uruguayan had bitten an opponent.

Diego Costa could be available for United vs. Chelsea match- Jose Mourinho

Diego Costa has "a little chance" of playing for Premier League leaders Chelsea against Manchester United on Sunday but fellow striker Loic Remy is definitely out, according to manager Jose Mourinho.
Mourinho had spent the past week playing down the possibility of Costa appearing at Old Trafford, after a recurrence of the Spain international's hamstring injury and suffering from a viral illness, but the coach expressed some hope of his top scorer featuring during his prematch news conference.
"He has a chance, a little chance," Mourinho said. ""He had to go to hospital with a viral situation, had to spend one night, before [Tuesday's 6-0 Champions League win over] Maribor.
"The problem is being ill didn't help his recovery process, because we couldn't have him here at Cobham."

Millions of Ebola vaccines doses to be made available by 2015- WHO

Millions of doses of experimental Ebola vaccines will be produced by the end of 2015, the World Health Organization has announced.
It said "several hundred thousand" would be produced in the first half of the year.
And vaccines could be offered to health workers on the frontline in West Africa as soon as December 2014.
However, the WHO cautioned that vaccines would not be a "magic bullet" for ending the outbreak.
There is no proven cure or vaccine for Ebola.
In response to the largest epidemic of the disease in history, the WHO is accelerating the process of vaccine development
It normally takes years to produce and test a vaccine, but drug manufacturers are now working on a scale of weeks.
Two experimental vaccines, produced by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) and the Public Health Agency of Canada, are already in safety trials.
The GSK vaccine is being tested in Mali, the UK and the US. Research on the Canadian vaccine is also under way in the US with further trials expected to start in Europe and Africa soon.
The results are expected in December. After that, trials will move to countries affected by Ebola, probably starting with Liberia.
That will allow researchers to assess how effective the vaccine is and what dose is needed to provide protection.
Healthcare workers, who place themselves at risk when treating patients, will take part in the first trials in West Africa.
The WHO says we should have the first hints of how effective these experimental vaccines are by April.
There are no plans for mass vaccination before June 2015 but the WHO has not ruled it out.
The WHO says vaccines are likely to be key to ending the outbreak, even if cases fall in the next few months.

Liverpool to deal with Mario Balotelli shirt swap with Pepe- Brendan Rodgers

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers confirmed he replaced striker Mario Balotelli at half-time in the Champions League clash against Real Madrid for tactical reasons and hinted the striker will be punished for swapping his shirt with Pepe as he left the field.
Balotelli has struggled to make his mark at Liverpool since his 16 million pound move from AC Milan in August, scoring just once in the Champions League, and his withdrawal at the break added to a growing list of frustrating performances.
"It was just tactical," Rodgers told Sky Sports when he was asked to explain his substitution of the Italy international. "We needed a bit more intensity and a bit more work rate through the middle. We had to occupy their centre-halves a little bit more.
Balotelli was seen swapping shirts with Pepe as he headed down the tunnel at the interval, and the action disappointed his manager.
"That is the first I have heard of that," he said. "It's something I don't like to see.
"I've seen it happening in other leagues in other countries, but it is something that doesn't happen here. We had a [similar] incident last year with a player and I dealt with it and if that's the case, I'll deal with it again."

Cristiano Ronaldo relish Real Madrid 3-0 win over Liverpool

Cristiano Ronaldo saluted another "fantastic" Real Madrid performance as the European champions claimed a comprehensive 3-0 win at Liverpool.
Ronaldo himself was in scintillating form, opening the scoring in their Champions League Group B encounter midway through the first half with a tremendous half-volley finish from James Rodriguez's delightful chip.
Surprisingly, it was the forward's first goal at Anfield and, although he passed up several further chances to add to his tally, it mattered little as Karim Benzema's brace had put the Spanish side three goals ahead before half-time.
Carlo Ancelotti's men eased off in the second half, perhaps with their attention on Saturday's Clasico, but that did not take away from a memorable display for Ronaldo.
He told Sky Sports: "It was special. It was my first goal here, so I feel very proud for that. I feel happy. We win three points, so amazing.
"We knew before the game that Anfield is a difficult place, but I think we played fantastic, especially in the first 45 minutes, and we deserved to win.
"I'm happy because it's dedication and hard work, but the best thing is that the team wins. We have nine points, so 75 percent of the qualification is done.''
Real now have one foot in the knockout stages as they are six points ahead of Liverpool, Basel and Ludogorets, and Ronaldo sees no reason why they cannot become the first team to retain the Champions League.
"Why not? We're thinking step by step,'' he said. "We know that the qualification is the priority of the team, but we're going to try, like last year. We know it's going to be very tough, but we are positive and it will be possible if we play like that.''

Selena Gomez was spotted with Orlando Bloom at LAX after she reportedly split from Justin Bieber

Selena Gomez has fueled dating rumors with Orlando Bloom after they were spotted at LAX just several feet apart from one another on Monday, October 20. The rumors came after Selena reportedly split from her on-and-off boyfriend, Justin Bieber. Selena and Orlando were believed to be heading to the We Day event in Canada.

Selena could be seen walking arm-in-arm with Justin's friend Alfredo Flores. She looked down and hid her face while Orlando trailed a few feet behind her. The "Behaving Badly" actress wore all black outfit and carried a black bag. The star of "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug", meanwhile, sported a black tee, grey jeans and a large fedora.

This is not the first time Selena and Orlando have been rumored to be dating. They previously fueled dating rumors when they were spotted hanging out together at Chelsea Handler's stand-up comedy show in Los Angeles back in April. At that time, Selena and Orlando were photographed sitting together on a sidewalk outside the Forum in Inglewood, California.

Orlando and Selena's on-and-off boyfriend famously do not get along after they had a fight in Ibiza, Spain back in July. At that time, Orlando reportedly threw a punch at Justin after the "Baby" singer apparently called the "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" actor "b***h."
