Stumpy is a hulking fixture in seas around Ningaloo Reef off the
coast of Western Australia. Photographed there often, he has a tranquil,
inquisitive demeanor — despite his 10-ton heft.
Following the launch this month of Wild Me, a new social media app, Stumpy is one of almost 5,000 whale sharks that can now be “friended” on Facebook.
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho insists he wants to remain in charge of
the club for more than a decade after revealing he took a pay cut to
return to Stamford Bridge last summer.
Mourinho is still reported to be one of the highest earning managers in
the game, but stressed his desire to make an emotional return to
Chelsea, and not a motivation to increase his bank balance, was the
driving force behind his move from Real Madrid.
“If I was here for me, I wouldn’t be here,” Mourinho told reporters
ahead of the crunch game against Arsenal on Monday. “If I was here for
financial reasons, I wouldn’t be here getting a lot less money than I
The General Overseer of The Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor W.F Kumuyi
warned his church members during their annual National December
Convention which held on Saturday Dec 21st, against celebrating
Christmas, because according to him it is idolatrous and unscriptural.
Kumuyi said;
“We don’t celebrate Christmas.
It actually came from idolatrous background. That is why you don’t hear
us sing what they call Christmas carol, Never! We always say it is the
December retreat. We are only gathering together because it is the
holiday period and love the lord more, and rededicate ourselves more.
There were originally more victims in "X-Men: The Last Stand" where Professor X was disintegrated by Phoenix. In a storyboard obtained by Comic Book Movie, Magneto was supposed to meet his demise as well.
In the movie's final version, however, Magneto was saved due to "the
cure" Beast injected on him. Magneto originally opposed the serum which
was invented by pharmaceutical company Worthington Labs to suppress
mutants' X-gene.
Moreover, the film featured the final battle taking place at Alcatraz Island but the storyboard showed Washington DC setting.
Brett Ratner directed the third "X-Men" film after Bryan Singer who helmed the first two films left the franchise to make "Superman Returns".
Cyclops also became Dark Phoenix's victims, while Mystique and Rogue
were among those taking "the cure" either forcibly or voluntarily. Patrick Stewart starred as Prof. X, Anna Paquin as Rogue, Kelsey Grammer as Beast, Ian McKellen as Magneto, Rebecca Romijn as Mystique, Famke Janssen as Phoenix, and James Marsden as Cyclops. Released in 2006, the film got mixed reviews but gained success at box office.
Not only did Justin Timberlake dominate music scene but apparently he was also on top of the high fashion game.
The "Suit and Tie" hitmaker was just named the most stylish man of the

In the female department, singer Rihanna, model Miranda Kerr and actress Kerry Washington are among Vogue's choices for the Best Dressed Women of 2013. The list also includes the likes of Lily Collins, Cate Blanchett and Cara Delevingne.

In the upcoming film, Ross will face off a frenemy, Mel Gibson's
Conrad Stonebanks. Ross was forced to kill Stonebanks, a co-founder of
the original Expendables, after he became a ruthless arms trader. But
Stonebanks survived and has now made it his mission to destroy The
Expendables.
To help the team overcome his old adversary, Ross resorts to recruiting a new generation of Expendables. Kellan Lutz is tapped to play the leader of the new group. Jason Statham, Jet Li and Arnold Schwarzenegger are among the returning members.
Supported by Harrison Ford, Antonio Banderas and Kelsey Grammer, the action movie will make its way out Stateside on August 15, 2014.

Paul Walker's memory is kept alive in a music video for his last movie, "Hours",
soundtrack, "All I Feel Is You". Singer/actress Natalia Safran
premiered a music video for the song as an ode to the actor who died
November 30 in a car crash.
Inserted in the clip are scenes focusing on Walker as a father trying to
keep his newborn baby alive in a New Orleans hospital during Hurricane
Katrina. At the end of the video, Safran encouraged fans to donate to
Walker's first responder organization Reach Out WorldWide. Proceeds from
the song will also go to the charity.
Description under the video said, "Video for the official track of 'Hours', a dramatic thriller starring Paul Walker and Genesis Rodriguez.
...Paul delivers an incredible performance with electrifying intensity
and truth. To know this is his last film is heartbreaking."
"The song and the video were an ode to lost love and an unbreakable connection. Now they must be a farewell. A farewell
to an incredible man and a dear friend. We wanted to honor his memory
and his inspiring life and hope this video does it in some small way.
All profits from the single benefit Please donate, support it and keep
Paul's vision alive!"
"Hours" was released a couple of weeks after Walker died.
There is something inherently lame about a
cappella singing. This may be because of its roots in barbershop or the
high technical barrier required for entry. Or maybe it’s the fact that a
group of people standing around mimicking instruments is kind of
ridiculous. How could voices ever stand up to actual instruments,
especially in the face of an era benchmarked by electronic sound? That
said, what a cappella groups can do is undeniably distinct. When done
well, a cappella definitely does stand up. As we move through the 2010s a
cappella is seeing its moment in the sun. Popular culture is finally
catching up to what so many fans already knew: a cappella is worthy of
our iPods, our downloads, our views. If it weren’t for the internet and
viral videos, the genre would not be nearly as successful.
Like many modern trends, the internet played a huge role
in the birth of a cappella’s popularity. The form was popular on college
campuses for decades, but the web allowed for the rapid spread of
ideas, technique and music. Suddenly schools across the country — and
the world — could see what other talented students were doing and
replicate it. Portals like YouTube and iTunes became indispensable for
the dissemination of a cappella. It was only a matter of time until the
mainstream media took notice and saw dollar signs.
NBC premiered The Sing-Off,
a limited-run reality competition series, in December of 2009. The show
pitted 10 a cappella groups ranging from high school to professional in
a head-to-head battle for the title of the ultimate team. A cappella
was getting its first shot at major exposure. The show
constantly reminded viewers the groups were only doing this with their
voices, and the public responded by showing up in big numbers.
Former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has told The Sun of his respect for Jose Mourinho, who he will face in the Champions League knockout phase.
Chelsea have been drawn against Drogba's current club Galatasaray in

Stamford Bridge for three years, before the latter parted company with
the club in 2007.
This might be one of the most unique Christmas videos we've seen this year. Artists George Zisiadis and Mustafa Khan
decked a mini "drone" with glittering garlands and sprigs of mistletoe,
before flying it over the heads of unsuspecting passerby in San
Francisco's Union Square. Couples (or would-be couples) — both young and
old, gay and straight — adorably obliged the drone's demands. Some even
signaled for it to fly their way.
Zisiadis' imaginative and
subversive works seek to alter people's relationships to their
environments for the better, and are a nice shift from the popular tone
of technological paranoia. Zisiadis told PolicyMic, "My work is about
playfully re-imagining the world around us. Drones have been causing all
sorts of paranoia lately and I wanted to reframe them from being
something scary and ominous to be being fun and human. Its not about the
technology, its about how we use it." It's certainly one way to get
people into the holiday spirit.
Zisiadis' past projects include the world's first interactive balloon immersion, a bubbleverse, and cards placed on public transit
that encourage people sitting next to each other to strike up a
conversation. More whimsical ideas for city transformation can be found
in his book Urban Imagination, out now.
Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo’s 3
year-old son, Cristiano Junior, helped his father unveil the museum
plaque dedicated to him in Funchal, Madeira, Portugal, on Sunday Dec.
15th. That's a cute lil' man. The museum will display 150 of
Cristiano's trophies and awards, waxworks, jerseys and everything
concerning his football career.
He's the first heir to the British throne to be christened in 31 years, making the private family ceremony at the Royal Chapel of St. James's Palace in London, a memorable moment for the entire country.
PRINCE WILLIAM: 1982
Hopefully, Prince Charles passed on some tips to his son as he prepares for Prince George's christening.
Here, the elder royal looks on as Princess Diana expertly soothes a

Palace's ornate Music Room on Aug. 4.

Kanye released "Christmas In Harlem" in 2010
as part of his GOOD Fridays series of free music giveaways.
It samples
songs by Marvin Gaye and Shuggie Otis, tacks on a slew of verses by
other artists, and "raps" (sorry, I had to do it) them up neatly with a
bow.
The song takes a look at the holiday season
from the perspective of Harlem residents, and includes the typical
themes of family, gifts, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, and
last-minute shopping. It also touches on drugs and luxury, and includes some of West's most atypical sex references:
"The streets lit up, it feel like Christmas officiallyTold her that 'You the star at the top of my Christmas tree'My only question is, 'Where my presents?'She said, 'Shhh,' she got a gift for me that ain’t for the kids to see"
While many of us might think of Christmas
music as sappy, sentimental tracks laden with too many jingling bells
and kids' choirs, West is actually tapping into a rich tradition of hip
hop artists releasing holiday-themed music that brings different themes
to the table.
Run-DMC
is perhaps the most famous example. The group released its classic
horn-filled ode to the holidays, "Christmas in Hollis,"
in 1987. Much like "Christmas In Harlem," the track references a New
York City neighborhood — Hollis, Queens, where the duo is from.
Other major hip hop artists such as Ludacris, Snoop Lion, and Outkast
have all tried their hand at Christmas tracks. While West and Run-DMC
have left the strongest impressions with their takes on the holidays,
the hip hop holiday tradition is as rich as the Christmas pudding you'll
soon be devouring.

Franz Beckenbauer has chosen his all-star line-up and
it features many of the planet's finest football talent but will the
best of Earth be good enough?
It started in October with the sightings of
mysterious circles at landmarks across the globe and was followed by the
arrival at top football grounds of a group of strange robed figures.
The curiosity of football fans was raised by #WINNERTAKESEARTH until the
extraordinary riddle was solved... with the setting of a unique global
challenge.
Franz Beckenbauer revealed last month he was compiling
a team of "the world's finest" and the concept of the GALAXY11 was
born. Details of its purpose remained ambiguous but Beckenbauer was
clear that the mission was linked to mysterious circles beamed onto
Sugerloaf mountain in Rio de Janeiro and Times Square in New York. The
huge hole gouged into London's Hackney Marshes by a ball bearing was
also connected.
In addition to cover art for her long-awaited album, Angel Haze just released a lyric video for her newest song "A Tribe Called Red." Like her other pieces, while the song's beat pulls you in, it's the lyrics that take center stage.
The song is a vow to fans that Haze will keep her music real despite her impending fame tin 2014. She also snuck in some Azealia Banks references, reminiscent of their on-going Twitter battle, for good measure.
Hip-hop is notoriously unkind to women, much less female artists themselves. Look around and you'll see the likes of Rihanna and Nicki Minaj, both of whom are really more pop than hip-hop. Their audiences are pop fans — not those who listen to Kendrick and J.Cole (nor the ones who complained when J.Cole's first album seriously dissed the underground hip-hop community).
Lady GaGa performed her single "Do What U Want" on "The Voice" on Tuesday night, December 17. The Mother Monster wasn't alone as Christina Aguilera, who's also a coach on the singing competition, joined her onstage to sing the second cut off "ARTPOP" album.
Wearing a shiny outfit and a wig, GaGa sang while dancing with some
dancers. Appearing onstage mid-song, Aguilera showed off her figure in a
dress with similar color to GaGa's. The two singers sounded and looked
perfect together.
At one point, GaGa rested her head on Aguilera's chest. The performance
ended with the two pop stars linking arms with glasses of champagne.
GaGa and Aguilera were not the only performers on that night's show. Celine Dion and Ne-Yo hit the stage and delivered the first live performance of their uplifting duet, "Incredible".
Previously, Dion sang her hit single called "Love Can Move Mountains" with Adam Levine's protege Tessane Chin, who later came out as the winner of the fifth season of "The Voice".
