Justin Bieber was reportedly left red-faced when his card failed to work at a store- but fans step in to pay

The Sorry singer was reportedly caught short as he tried to buy a foot-long sandwich, four bottles of milk and cookies at Subway in West Hollywood.
The pop hunk dropped by the store on Sunset Boulevard yesterday as his girlfriend Sofia Richie waited in his car.

Justin was "embarrassingly declined" as he went to pay for his order.
Luckily, one of his loyal Beliebers was on hand to foot the bill.
The source said a generous fan "recognised Justin and jumped in to pay for his order".
