The blonde 20-year-old was left devastated when she discovered she had her title removed after having sex on ITV2 dating program Love Island .
Talking about the decision since leaving the show, Zara said: “I’ve done nothing wrong. All women have needs.”
"There is nothing wrong with having sex on TV. I knew what I was signing up for - it is Love Island . I am a 20-year-old girl who was in the moment. There are lots of girls my age who go out every week and do that, mine was just on national TV,” she told The Sun .
The model, from Hull, added: "I haven’t committed a crime so why should I have my title taken from me? It’s horrific.”
She went on to say she had lots of fun on the show and has no regrets - except for her family members having to see it.
"The rules are all on the website. Some say they're outdated but at the end of the day, rules are rules and you have to stick to them," Deone shared.
But I think the pageant community saw this coming. Nobody is saying she did anything wrong. She is a young girl enjoying life but under these circumstances, she can't be a title holder."
“Well, if that’s her opinion, let her have it," Zara added to the newspaper.
