WWE  Legend Chyna was found dead in her apartment in Redondo Beach, C.A. after she had not been seen or heard of for days.

According to TMZ, a friend went to check on her on Wednesday, April 20 and found her unresponsive in her bedroom. Police responded to a call at around 7:30 P.M. The cause of death is unknown but no signs of foul play were found. Prescription bottles scattered around the house and the death is being investigated as a possible overdose.

Her manager confirmed the death on early Thursday, writing, "It is with deep sadness to inform you today that we lost a true icon, a real life superhero. Joanie Laurer aka Chyna, the 9th Wonder of the World, has passed away. She will live forever in the memories of her millions of fans and all of us that loved her." It was just last week that she posted a video on YouTube, looking alive and well. Stephanie McMahon, Chief Brand Officer of WWE, tweeted, "She was truly a pioneer in our industry and she will be missed #RIPChyna" in reaction to Chyna's death.
