Nicki
Minaj has
been honoured with a wax figure at Madame Tussauds in Las Vegas.
The
32-year-old rapper's likeness is at the centre of a larger display
depicting a moment from her hugely successful Anaconda video.
Officially unveiled at the museum on Tuesday, the provocative figure will join other artists in the attraction's Music Room.

According to the Los Angeles Times, more than 20 craftspeople were involved with the sculpting process over a period of six months.
First
sculpted in clay to precise measurements taken from the Starships
artist, the wax figure itself was created in a plaster cast with details
like hair and eyes added later.
Nicki's
wax likeness is the central figure in the display, placed in a crouched
position seen several times in the Anaconda video.

Real dancers were on-hand - wearing costumes from the video - to flank Nicki's waxwork.
The
figure's costume - a gold bikini top with black bottoms and high-heeled
sandals - also comes straight from the video, which has been viewed
almost 500 million times to-date.
In
addition to being one of the most popular online videos of 2014,
Anaconda was Nicki's highest-charting single to-date and earned her a
Grammy nomination at the end of the year.
