The dance music icon and perpetually outrageous fashion star proved she wasn’t going to let her split from Bob Mackie slow her down, stylewise — she even gave pop stars Madonna and Miley Cyrus a run for their money Thursday, donning red heart-shaped pasties on her nipples as she hit the stage in Boston.Cher, who turns 68 in May, donned a highly suggestive flesh-toned bodysuit
that was draped with sparkling silver crystals at the torso, framing
her bodice (and emphasizing those hearts), plus a thick fringe jacket
that cinched at the waist and fell past her hip. The diva finished
finished her ensemble with nude fishnets and silver booties, and wore a
platinum-and-pink wig that matched her lipstick and eye shadow
perfectly.
The singer’s tour is aptly named “Dressed to Kill.” Though she may have dramatically parted ways with her longtime designer Bob Mackie
before the tour, she still proved her lifelong fashion commitment to
putting her assets fully on display in wild outfits. She also showed off
an enormous feathered headpiece and a spangled Cleopatra costume, among
others.
Our take, if you look like that and your career’s still going strong (she released her 26th solo album last September), you can wear any sparkly pasties on stage you want.
