Jose Mourinho again indicated that Chelsea will sign a world-class striker in the summer window.
Although the Portuguese denied any deals have been done, despite
speculation about the likes of Wayne Rooney, Diego Costa and Radamel
Falcao, Mourinho says the club know what they want and have been making
moves in that direction.
The Stamford Bridge coach stated that there will be no more business done in this window following the confirmed purchase of Saint-Etienne’s Kurt Zouma.
Mourinho stated they had to act on the 19-year-old
Shakira has finally unveiled the full music video for her collaboration with Rihanna,
"Can't Remember to Forget You". The Joseph Kahn-directed clip gives
glimpses at the two superstars singing while flaunting their enviable
curves in body-baring outfits.
At first, Shakira is featured writhing around and dancing in a bed
placed in a big mansion. She later moves to a striped bed and takes a
dip in a pool before Rihanna enters the house and walks around in
all-black.
Both Shakira and Rihanna smoke some cigars, cozy up to each other and do a steamy, synchronized dance on the walls. The coach of "The Voice" then transforms into a rocker, playing the guitar and the drums.
"Can't Remember to Forget You" was co-produced by John Hill and Kid
Harpoon. "This song 'Can't Remember to Forget You' combines both the
reggae and the rock spirit, that's why I thought Rihanna was perfect.
She was the other half of this," Shakira recently talked about the song
and working with Rihanna on it.
The track will appear in the Latin singer's self-titled new album, "Shakira", which is due out on March 25.
Former Barcelona president Josep Lluis Nunez has been sentenced to two
years and two months in prison for the embezzlement of 13 million euros
in public funds, although the 82-year-old is unlikely to serve any time

A Super Bowl ad for Darren Aronofsky's biblical epic "Noah"
has arrived ahead of the big game on February 2. It features footage
from the previously-released sneak peeks and a few new glimpses that
include some angels descending from the sky.
It stars Russell Crowe
as Noah, a man chosen by God for a great task before an apocalyptic
flood destroys the world. He suffers visions of an apocalyptic deluge
and takes measures to protect his family and the innocent from the
coming flood.
"Noah" is set for a March 28 release in the U.S. Nick Nolte, Mark Margolis and Frank Langella are tapped as the Watchers. Other supporting cast members include Anthony Hopkins, Ray Winstone, Jennifer Connelly, Emma Watson, Logan Lerman, and Douglas Booth.
The newly-released spot is just a teaser to build anticipation for a new trailer that is expected to premiere at the Super Bowl XLVIII early next month.
It showcases a lot of freak accidents that ended with people getting
killed. One gruesome incident involves a giant block of ice, another is a
photo shoot gone wrong, and a third incident happens in what looks like a surgery room.
It follows a farmer who chickens out of a gunfight and sees his fickle girlfriend
leaving him for another man. When he meets the wife of a notorious
outlaw who offers to teach him how to shoot, the farmer sees a chance to win back his love but he slowly falls for the woman. Complications ensue when the outlaw returns and reclaims his woman.
Director Seth MacFarlane plays the lead role, Amanda Seyfried portrays his gold-digging girlfriend, Neil Patrick Harris stars as the ladies man, Sarah Silverman becomes the Westward ho, Liam Neeson channels his inner outlaw and Charlize Theron is his wife. The western comedy will open in the U.S. on May 30.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho claimed he will be cheering on title rivals
Manchester City when they take on Tottenham at White Hart Lane on
Wednesday as he has his sights set primarily on sealing a top four
finish in the Premier League this season.
Mourinho continues to insist his ambitions for this campaign are not
focused on winning the title but rather on building a side that will be
capable of competing with the best in the competition next season.
Few believe this serial trophy winner has such moderate ambitions for
the final third of the season, but Mourinho has claimed he is hoping
City will claim all three points at Tottenham.
“I prefer them [City] to win because they win and if we win, we open up
gap to Tottenham,” said Mourinho ahead of his side’s home game against
West Ham.
“If we have a gap of 10 to Tottenham, 12 to United, you have a safe
spot in the Champions League. If you can have a safe spot by February
and play the rest of the season without that pressure, it would be
fantastic for us.
“That’s an objective I don’t want to fail. We cannot fail, because as a
club we need that and as a team we need that too, because we want to
play Champions League.
Vin Diesel showed his fans that he is not only rock hard actor but also hard rocking one. On Tuesday, January 28, the "Fast and Furious" star posted a video of him busting moves to Beyonce Knowles' collaboration with husband Jay-Z, "Drunk in Love", as well as Katy Perry's "Dark Horse".
The black and white video started with Diesel adjusting the camera and
him mouthing the lyrics to "Dark Horse" while dancing. He banged his
head and stuck his tongue out before telling fans why he was in such a
good mood.
"Guys, I'm excited, I'm happy," the actor said. "Universal just called
me and said Riddick is number one on the DVD charts. It's a win for all
of us. Really really want to thank you so much ...Of course Universal said they want to develop the next one."
Before he launched the Beyonce song, Diesel asked fans, "Did you guys
see the Grammys last night? I couldn't go, I had to do work." He then
gave away his rendition of the song and even did the "surfboard" dance.
The video ended with the words "All love".
Diesel had previously displayed his love of music in a video posted last September when he did a karaoke to Rihanna's single "Stay".
Jose Mourinho says Chelsea will not win the Premier League title this
season, but insists it will be a very different prospect next year.
In what has become something of a theme for Mourinho since returning to
Stamford Bridge last summer, he claims the “priority” this term is to
work to the required level.
However, the Blues boss believes that once his squad have been with him

A new trailer for Disney's "Maleficent" has been released during the live telecast of the 56th annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles. It contains some new footage including Angelina Jolie's witch character summoning tree- and grass-like monsters to face off the king's soldiers.
In addition to offering new footage, the trailer features a haunting soundtrack recorded by Lana Del Rey.
Rumor has it, the "Summertime Sadness" hitmaker was handpicked by Jolie
to sing "Once Upon a Time" from the 1959 original "Sleeping Beauty"
film. The film explores the origins
story of the Disney iconic villain from a beautiful, pure-hearted young
woman who turns into a cold-stoned sorceress due to a ruthless betrayal.
Hell bent on revenge, she places a curse upon the king's newborn
daughter.
Helmed by first-timed director Robert Stromberg, the dark fantasy film is slated to hit theaters nationwide on May 30. Elle Fanning stars as Princess Aurora and Brenton Thwaites as her Prince. Other cast members include Sharlto Copley, Juno Temple and Peter Capaldi.
Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard claimed he wants to compete with Lionel
Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo for the tag of the best player in the world.
Hazard has been in sparkling form for Chelsea this season and he has
set himself some ambitious targets in an interview published in Belgian
newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws.
“Of course I want to be the best in the world,” he said during an
interview that has been translated in several English newspapers.
“Previously I was more worried about the game itself: football was just
a game for me, I wanted to amuse myself and didn’t bother what the
people thought about me.
“Since I’m here at Chelsea, I’ve become more aware of my qualities, I
guess. Before I knew I was a good player, but not one of the better
players in the world.
“Now I realise that I can compete with Messi and Ronaldo in the near
future, if I put in some more effort. I don’t know if I will ever reach
their level. It’ll be hard, they have incredible stats, but I accept the
challenge.”
Queen Latifah will make an appearance at the stage of the upcoming Super Bowl
XLVIII. The host of "The Queen Latifah Show" is slated to sing "America
the Beautiful" during the pre-game show on Sunday, February 2.
The New Jersey-born actress/host will perform at MetLife Stadium in her
home state. This won't be Latifah's first time to sing "America the
Beautiful" at the Super Bowl as she sang the song with Carrie Underwood
Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z opened the 2014 Grammy Awards,
which is currently being held on Los Angeles' Staples Center. The
couple delivered the first live performance of their new collaboration,
"Drunk in Love".
Beyonce and her husband managed to steal the spotlight with the steamy
performance. The diva, who looked stunning in a sexy one piece, sang the
song on a spinning chair before Jay-Z joined her onstage. The two stars
then danced together and gave each other a big hug before leaving the
stage. The performance marked Bey and
Jay-Z's first time to take the stage at an awards show since 2003, when
they appeared together to sing "Crazy in Love" at the MTV VMAs. Lorde was also among performers who have been enlisted to perform
at the Grammys. Making her Grammy debut, the New Zealand native donned a
sleeveless white top when treating the crowd with a haunting rendition
of her breakthrough single "Royals".
Other artists who have so far taken the stage at the event include Katy Perry who sang her "Dark Horse", Robin Thicke who was joined by Chicago to perform "Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?" and "Saturday in the Park" before singing his own hit "Blurred Lines", and Taylor Swift who played her piano as she performed "All Too Well". More A-list musicians will perform later tonight.
Before returning with a new season this spring, "Game of Thrones" will offer a behind-the-scenes sneak peek in "Ice and Fire: A Foreshadowing". HBO has now promoted the 15-minute special with a 30-second preview, in which the stars tease the upcoming season 4.
"Tyrion has never been faced with this much humiliation," Peter Dinklage says of his character as the scene shows Tyrion in chain. Lena Headey gushes, "The stakes are super high," while a glimpse of Cersei passionately lip locking with Jaime is featured.
Maisie Williams who plays Arya claims the Starks are "going back stronger," while her on-screen brother Kit Harington teases that the upcoming installment is by far "the most action-packed season."
For a longer look at the fourth installment of the medieval series, fans
can tune into "Ice and Fire: A Foreshadowing" on Sunday, February 9 at
8:45 P.M. on HBO. It will include a look back at seasons one through
three as well as clips from upcoming episdoes, behind-the-scenes footage
and cast interviews.
The new season of "Game of Thrones"
will premiere April 6, at 9 P.M. It will introduce new faces such as
Red Viper a.k.a. Prince Oberyn (Pedro Pascal), Tycho Nestoris (Mark
Gatiss), Styr of the Thenn (Yuri Kolokolnikov), and Hizdahr zo Loraq
(Joel Fry).
The news: Although the World Cup in Qatar will not
take place until 2022, migrant construction workers have already began
building its infrastructure. Construction can be a dangerous job, but
it’s been so dangerous in Qatar that 185 workers died in 2013 while on
this project.
The Guardian reported that the 2013 death toll is expected to rise
as new cases come to light. They added that this could end up changing
how migrant workers are treated from here on out, putting pressure on
both the country as well as FIFA to force meaningful change.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has potentially reignited an old feud with
Arsene Wenger, accusing the Arsenal boss of “always complaining.”
Wenger stated on Thursday that Juan Mata’s imminent move to Manchester United is “not fair” and amounts to Chelsea “playing with the transfer market.”
Mourinho responded, however, by saying such comments are merely in the
Frenchman’s “nature”, before claiming it is unfair that the Gunners
always receive an easier fixture schedule than his side.
“Wenger complaining is normal because he always does,” Mourinho said.
“It's something that we know.
According to Reddit and Tweaktown,
the Korea Central News Agency said the following during a live news
broadcast, naming 17-year-old Hung Il Gong as the astronaut:
"We are very delighted to announce a successful mission to put a man
on the sun. North Korea has beaten every other country in the world to
the sun. Hung Il Gong is a hero and deserves a hero's welcome when he
returns home later this evening."
Hung took just four hours to get to the Sun and will only take 18 to
return, making this a day trip. When he gets back to North Korea, he
will be greeted by his uncle and supreme leader, Kim Jong-un.
Then Hung will be fed to a pack of starving, rabid dogs while Kim
laughs and claps, before Dennis Rodman slam dunks his decapitated head
through a hoop made of bones.

A Kangaroo
court in a village in India ordered a 20year old woman (pictured above) to be
gang-raped by 13 men for having a relationship with a man from another village,
Times of India reports.
The woman was locked in a shed and raped overnight by 13 men, 10 of which had
been 'judges' in the kangaroo court which sentenced her in a village near Suri
in west Bengal state, police said.
The woman is currently fighting for her life in hospital while all 13 men have
since been arrested for rape. Among them is the village headman.
The rapists captured by the police.
The woman managed to tell her story

Chelsea have announced that they have reached an agreement with FC Basel for Mohamed Salah.
Liverpool have been chasing a deal for the 21-year-old, who can also play in midfield, for several months, but they are set to lose out on the Egypt international.
A statement on the Blues' official website
read: "Chelsea Football Club can confirm an agreement has been reached
with FC Basel for the transfer of their 21-year-old attacking midfielder
Mohamed Salah.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted he does not expect to make a
major signing in this transfer window, after seemingly ruling out a move
for Schalke midfielder Julian Draxler.
Wenger has been persistently linked with a move for Draxler in recent weeks, with a deal for the 20-year-old Germany attacking starlet reported to be close in the first two weeks of this transfer window.
However, Wenger was firm in his conviction that Draxler will not be
joining Arsenal this month, as the Arsenal boss believes he has the
squad depth required to sustain a challenge in three competitions with
Nicklas Bendtner now fit to return after his ankle injury.
When asked whether there was any chance of Arsenal signing Draxler,
Wenger offered a firm "no", before
This is absolutely mesmerizing: Watch a match head, slowed down to 4,000 frames per second, steadily ignite and begin its (super-slow) burn.
The video was created by UltraSlo,
a production company that wants "our slow-mo footage to encourage
viewers to be aware of the world around them, to enjoy it, protect it
and learn from it."
How did they shoot the video? "There was over 2000 [watts] of light
within 4 inches (10 CM) of the match with mirrors and reflectors too,"
UltraSlo writes in the YouTube description.
"What you see in an instant will take quite a while on screen," UltraSlo founder Alan Teitel says in the video.
We like Gizmodo's colorful description of the burning match head looking like "dying alien worlds," but it's actually a chemical reaction:
"The heat generated from the phosphorus is enough to break down
potassium chlorate, and in the process, it releases oxygen. This oxygen
combines with sulfur, allowing the flame to thrive long enough for us to
light a candle or barbecue."
Manchester United have agreed a fee of 37 million pounds for Chelsea playmaker Juan Mata

"I ask you to ensure that humanity is served by wealth and not ruled
by it,” the letter read. Francis called for “decisions, mechanisms and
processes directed to a better distribution of wealth, the creation of
sources of employment and an integral promotion of the poor which goes
beyond a simple welfare mentality."
If there’s one surefire way to cause a commotion at the WEF, it’s
calling for a redistribution of wealth and a "promotion of the poor" in
front of the richest people on Earth.
Of course, this is familiar territory for Francis. Just last month, the pope tackled
income inequality — or, as he referred to it, one of the "grave
financial and economic crises of our time." And before that,
Manchester United are hopeful of securing a deal for Chelsea's Juan Mata
by this weekend.
United officials have remained in London over the last two days to
conduct negotiations for Mata and one other "European-based central
midfielder" -- believed to be Juventus' Arturo Vidal.
While the second deal is still some way off, and may even be for the
summer, sources have stated that there has been considerable movement in
Mata negotiations and, for the first time, Chelsea are considering a
sale to a domestic rival.
While any such move would involve United breaking their transfer record

It is easy to assume that his comments are the result or prejudice,

It seems odd that there's criticism from some quarters over the recent form of Mesut Ozil. Although
the German's performances are always looked at through the prism of the
£42.5 million price tag, it's curious that a minority of Arsenal fans
are openly questioning the talent and ability of the former Real Madrid
man. We live in a world of Pot Noodle opinion. A player can be
the hottest property one month, a failure the next. However, the issue
with Ozil is quite simple: he's a fantastic player who isn't playing as
well as he can. There's not a lot more to it than that. It's not
complicated. There's no doubt he can perform to a higher standard, he
even said so himself ahead of the Fulham game so he's not lacking
self-awareness, but perhaps there's just an element who always like to
complain about something without giving it too much thought.
Jenni Rivera's
daughter, Chiquis, has debuted a song dedicated to her late mother who
died when her plane crashed in Mexico back in 2012. She took to YouTube
to post the song entitled "Paloma Blanca" ("White Dove").
The song comes along with its lyric and an image of Chiquis wearing a
white dress while standing in front of a cloud-filled background. It
features her singing in banda style, which is a brass-based form of traditional Mexican music.
"You don't know how much I miss you... today I miss your laugh/ From a
star you take care of me," she sings at the beginning of the song.
Chiquis, who was reportedly not on good terms with her mom when she
died, also hints at the rocky relationship in the song. "I was probably
wrong, but it was never that bad/ It is out of this world to betray
someone that I love so much," she sings at one point.
The title of Chiquis' song is a nod to "Paloma Negra", a song which her mother dedicated to her during her last concert.
For 15 glorious minutes on Sunday at Stamford Bridge, Manchester United
fans briefly forgot the grim reality of their Premier League fortunes
and made believe that all was right with the world. As their
team attacked the Chelsea defense with the kind of energy and conviction
that reminded them of those heady days of seasons past, the supporters
reverted to their old cocksure, swaggering selves. "Jose
Mourinho, you wanted this job," they chanted at a very grumpy-looking
Chelsea manager who was reported to have coveted the United throne so
fiercely that he blubbered like a baby when David Moyes was crowned instead.
The news: If you've been on Facebook, Twitter or Reddit, chances are pretty high that you've seen this heart-breaking image
of a young Syrian child sleeping between his parents. It's a wrenching
testament to the devastating horrors of war and the pointless death
occuring across Syria in the battle against President Bashar al-Assad's
authoritarian government.
Jose Mourinho has predicted Manchester United will sell Wayne Rooney to
an overseas club this summer -- though David Moyes has refuted his
Chelsea counterpart's claim.
Mourinho, whose Chelsea side take on United at Stamford Bridge on

end of the season, when he will have just one year remaining on his
contract.

In Chelsea’s match with Manchester United this Sunday afternoon,
arguably the most fascinating battleground will be the central midfield
zone.
That is entirely common in matches between two big clubs,
but usually because of the vast quality on display. This weekend’s match
is different, as both teams are weakest in that very position: the
central midfield, the heart of the side.
There are injury
problems: Chelsea may be without Frank Lampard while David Moyes will
probably still be unable to call upon Marouane Fellaini.
Beyond
that pair, Chelsea have depended upon just four central midfielders and
have recently been using centre-back David Luiz in the holding role,
despite Jose Mourinho previously insisting he would not, and have now
re-signed Nemanja Matic -- a player they sold as part of the Luiz deal
in 2011 -- for 21 million pounds.

Gleeson says he was initially ambivalent about whether or not he

It's rare for astronomers to spot a planet in a star cluster. That's
partly why a cluster called Messier 67 is so special: We now know that
it has three planets orbiting stars.
Even more exciting: One
these planets orbits a star called YBP1194 that is so similar to our sun
that scientists call it a "solar twin." The results are described in a study in the journal Astronomy & Astrophysics.
A solar twin is similar
to the sun in mass, temperature and chemical abundances. This particular
star is the first solar twin found in a cluster that has a planet,
astronomers say.
For many stars, winning an Oscar isn't just the cherry on top of an
illustrious career — it's the award that cements them in movie history

For others, though, the award seems to have the opposite effect. Here

Cuba Gooding, Jr. won the Oscar in 1996 for his breakout role as Rod Tidwell ("Show me the money!") in Jerry Maguire. The next year, he was nominated again for his supporting role in As Good As It Gets. And that's pretty much as good as it got.

This Iranian man you see above hasn't allegedly had a bath for 60 years.
Daily Mail reports that 80 year old Iranian Amou Haji hasn't washed for
60 years because he believes being clean will
make him sick, and his favourite food is rotten porcupine.
To relax he likes to sit down and have a smoke, from a pipe packed with animal faeces. Mr

emotional setbacks in his youth and since then - perhaps unsurprisingly -
he has become a bit isolated.
His home is in Dejgah village in the

She isn't the only one making big waves in pop music with her feminism. Lily Allen and Miley Cyrus
also took to the air waves to spread their viewpoints and messages on
the topic. And the world listened because, increasingly, a feminist
stand from a pop star in the spotlight often elicits major Internet

Miley Cyrus took a more sexualized, overt route to express
her brand of feminism — twerking away the naysayers. When asked about
her views on feminism, she told BBC Radio 1's Newsbeat, "I feel like I'm one of the biggest feminists in the world because I tell women to not be scared of anything."
Lily Allen, on the contrary, released a feminist anthem called "Hard Out Here," directly mocking Robin Thicke's

music. Her anger about the state of the genre (especially its
sexualization of young women) comes across in the song, one line of
which states, "I won't be bragging 'bout my cars or talking 'bout my

Cristiano Ronaldo has won the Ballon d'Or after a stunning year that saw
him net an astonishing 69 goals in 59 games, ending Lionel Messi's
four-year run as the world's best player.
The Real Madrid talisman's achievements saw him surpass Hugo Sanchez in

Fourteen of his goals came in the Champions League as Madrid reached
the semifinals before being beaten by Borussia Dortmund -- and that
