Drogba
We're not sure if it would be of the sentimental variety or if this is just a second go round that's tantamount to a marriage of convenience. But one thing's for sure, the rumours surrounding a second bro-mance between Jose Mourinho and Didier Drogba aren't going away.On the surface, Drogba's return makes sense. Chelsea is the side that the Ivory Coast national had his best success under the guidance of Mourinho the first time around. Plus, the lack of pop in the attack was a well-documented complaint from Mou all last Premier League season, though the arrival of Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa at Stamford Bridge should help plenty on that front.
Drogba, for his part, looked somewhat of his old self in Brazil -- physically dominant in the air and his touch seemed magic as an appearance off the bench versus Japan coincided with his team's two decisive goals. Drogba's contract with Galatasaray is expired, so needless to say we'll keep close tabs on this one.
