Game of Thrones Season 6 trailer finally released

The much-anticipated trailer of "Game of Thrones" season 6 is finally released. Set to "Wicked Game" performed by James Vincent McMorrow, it opens with a shot of Jon Snow (Kit Harington) who lies motionless after being stabbed by his Night's Watch brothers. "He's gone," says Ser Davos (Liam Cunningham).

Elsewhere, Jaime Lannister's (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) ship is returning to King's Landing, but his reunion with his sister and lover Cersei (Lena Headey) will not be a happy one since he will have to deliver the news that their daughter has been poisoned. "Everything they've taken from us they're going to take back - and more," he tries to console the grieving Cersei.

We also see The High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce) looking very much confident that the Faith of the Seven can "overthrow an empire." Cersei is later having a face-off with members of the Faith Militant. "I choose violence," she says in response to a warning from one of the members.

At Castle Black, Melisandre (Carice van Houten) admits their defeat. "The great victory I saw in the flames, all of it was a lie," she says. There's also a shot of Davos Seaworth mourning alone. Tagged as a red band trailer, the video shows Melisandre opening her robe, although it's unclear whom she tries to seduce this time. Meanwhile, Davos apologizes for what he's about to do with Jon's sword Longclaw. Could this mean that he and Melisandre plan something to bring Jon back from the dead?

Meanwhile, Jon's half-sister Sansa (Sophie Turner) is seen pretty much alive, although it's unclear where she is. Judging from her clothes, it seems that she has arrived at Castle Black. Her sister Arya (Maisie Williams) is seen running away from someone and jumping off a roof. In another scene, Arya is slapped.

Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) is seen in capture and walking among slaves underneath the Dothraki's whip, but it may not be long before Ser Jorah (Iain Glen) saves her as he finds the ring that she dropped in the season 5 finale.

Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright) is seen standing next to The Night's King, but that could be his vision. There are also some battle scenes and the Dothraki charging, but it's not clear whom they're fighting against. Some people suggest that a glimpse of a group of fighters on a hilltop is part of the flashback scene that features young Ned Stark. We also get to see Theon Greyjoy's (Alfie Allen) uncle Euron, played by Pilou Asbaek.

Social graveyard: Facebook will have dead users outnumbering the living by 2098

The number of dead people on Facebook will outnumber living members of the social network by the end of the century, a statistician has claimed.
The social network, which currently has 1.5 billion users worldwide, will turn into the world's biggest "virtual graveyard" by 2098.
Facebook's refusal to automatically delete dead users, together with the site's plateauing membership numbers, means that the living will be outnumbered even sooner than previously thought.
Hachem Sadikki, a PhD candidate in statistics at University of Massachusetts , said that he worked out the figure by assuming that Facebook's growth will begin to slow soon.
In the US, 70% of the adult population has signed up and in the UK the number is more than half.
Sadikki also assumed that Facebook will retain its existing policy on how to handle dead users.
Currently, when a user dies, Facebook does not delete the account and instead turns into into a 'memorialised' version of the page.
The only way to delete the account of a dead person is if somebody has their password and can login and close it down.
But given that few people give anyone their Facebook login, the page is likely to stay up long after they have died.
Online legacy planning company called the Digital Beyond has claimed that 970,000 Facebook users will die this year alone across the world.
That compares to 385,968 in 2010 and 580,000 in 2012.
Facebook's policy on dead users had led to criticism as some families want more control over how their loved ones are remembered online.
Some dead people still appear as having birthdays in users' news feeds and alerts, despite having passed away.
Facebook has tried to get around the problem by asking users to appoint a 'Legacy Contact' - a sort of online executor, to decide what happens to their profile after they die.
The Legacy Contact can administer the page after the user passes away by writing one last post, updating their cover and profile photo and even approving new friend requests.
Users can also choose to give their Legacy Contact additional permission to download an archive of the photos, posts, and profile information they shared on Facebook.
Facebook declined to comment when asked about its own projection for when dead users will outnumber the living.

Kim Kardashian obviously doesn't care about what other people say about her. The 35-year-old reality TV star uploaded on Instagram another racy photo although she got so many backlashes over her recent nude picture.

The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star once again shared with her 62.7 million Instagram followers a photo of herself going completely naked. In the photo, she was seen standing against a black background without any clothes covering her body. She put one of her arms across her assets and used the other one to cover her private area. Unlike in the previous NSFW picture, Kim sported black hair in the new photo. "#liberated," she captioned the photo.

Some of her followers praised her body, while others accused her of altering the photo. "I ain't gonna lie she looks good," one of the commenters wrote. "the photoshop of her waist is anatomically incorrect," another one said.

Kim has gotten many negative comments following her previous nude photos. Some celebrities like Chloe Moretz, Bette Midler and Ellen DeGeneres took to Twitter to share their comments on the controversial photo.

However, several hours after Chloe said that Kim was supposed to teach young women that "we have so much more to offer than just our bodies," the 19-year-old actress clarified that she wasn't "slut-shaming" the mother of two. "There's a huge difference in respecting the platform that you're given as a celebrity and 'slut shaming' something I never have done and would never do," she wrote on Twitter.

Game of Thrones: HBO takes extreme measure to stop piracy

No more early view of "Game of Thrones". In its latest effort to stop piracy, the pay cable channel has decided not to send press any episodes of the show's upcoming season 6 in advance, either on DVD or via online screening, which is contrary to industry convention.

"We're not sending out press copies this year, anywhere in the world," HBO programming president Michael Lombardo confirms this to EW. "There will be no copies for review."

Lombardo explains the move, "It's painful for Dan (Weiss) and David (Benioff) [when leaks happen]. When you have press copies, inevitably friends ask, 'Can I see your copy?' There are things that happen. We talked about the upsides and downsides. Some of the press are fans who might be disappointed, but they'll understand."

The hit medieval drama series has set record as the most pirated TV show for the past few years. Last year, the first four episodes of the fifth season were available for illegal download on piracy networks in full, a day before the season premiere on HBO.

"Game of Thrones" returns with the new season beginning April 24 on HBO.

During the show, Khloe also talked about her marriage to Lamar Odom. She explained that her relationship with Lamar was good although she knew he was unfaithful.

HBO has released a featurette that takes fans behind the scenes of "Game of Thrones". Highlighting the experience of some crew members filming the hit drama series, the featurette shares a few details of the upcoming season 6.

In between the commentaries, you can see the Dothraki army that Daenerys encountered in season 5 finale and their compound. There's a glimpse of Jorah Mormont and Daario Naharis in search for the missing queen, while Tyrion Lannister is alone in a Meereenese chamber.

In Winterfell, two boys are playing swords in the courtyard in what looks like a flashback scene. Meera Reed is seen sitting in the snow, and there are also shots of Melisandre, Jaime Lannister and Daenerys.

You don't have to be in the water to be stung. It can deliver its venom weeks after being stranded on the beach.

 

If you do get stung, don't pee on the infected area. You might have heard that's a good idea, but it can actually make things worse.
Instead, use cold compresses to bring down the swelling. If it gets worse, or you show signs of having an allergic reaction, go to the hospital.

Above all, heed the warning signs and directions from lifeguards.

'Game of Thrones' Season 6 Posters- Is everyone dead?

HBO has unleashed a bunch of new posters for "Game of Thrones" season 6. Continuing the theme of the creepy teaser, these official one-sheets see dead characters like Ned Stark, his wife Catelyn, son Robb and King Joffrey, as well as Daenerys, Tyrion and Arya who are still very much alive among the faces in the House of Black and White Face Hall.

There's also the face of Jon Snow, whose fate has been one of the most debated topics about the show in the past few months. Cersei, her brother Jaime and many other side characters are also depicted as dead men in the posters.

While the show's ad campaign is very focused on the death, this season could be all about revival. There have been speculations that Melisandre may rise Jon Snow from the dead, and Catelyn Stark may return as Lady Stoneheart. It could also be HBO's strategy to keep using Jon's face in its ads while keeping the mystery regarding his fate alive.

'Captain America: Civil War' New Villain Crossbones

Empire Magazine has unveiled the first great look at "Captain America: Civil War" new villain Crossbones, played by Frank Grillo. In the picture, the character looks badass, wearing masks with a big "X" written on his costume.

Crossbones is the superhero incarnation of Brock Rumlow, one of the rogue S.H.I.E.L.D. operatives on the take for H.Y.D.R.A. in "Captain America: The Winter Soldier". He's the guy who leads the attack on Captain America (Chris Evans) in the elevator. At the end, Brock suffered severe burns in the helicarrier crash which caused the facial cover-up.

New York Police Department Urges Beyonce to Apologize for her Black Panther-inspired Super Bowl 50 Performance

Cops across the nation keep taking aim at Beyonce Knowles over her performance of "Formation" at the Super Bowl 50 earlier this month. After a police union in Miami threatened to boycott her upcoming concert in the city, now the New York Police Department wants the singer to explain her Black Panther-inspired set.

According to TMZ, the NYPD doesn't actually think Queen Bey advocated for violence against police, but that's what millions of people watching the big game thought of her performance. Because of it, the NYPD says they want her to speak out to public that she didn't mean to attack cops. Despite the request, the site adds, the NYPD will fully protect the 34-year-old superstar when she's in NYC.

In addition to cops, Beyonce's Super Bowl appearance has angered a lot of people, including former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani and some folks who planned an anti-Beyonce rally outside the NFL headquarters in Manhattan a few days ago but failed to show up.

Last Thursday, President of Miami Fraternal Order of Police Javier Ortiz said in a statement that Miami cops would boycott Bey's concert at the city's Marlins Stadium on April 26. Ortiz also urged other authorities across the country to do the same. "We ask all law enforcement labor organizations to join our boycott across the country and to boycott all of her concerts," he wrote at that time.
