Teenager honour pal by taking all day to place in seats at sports stadium teddy bears he had collected from well-wishers

A teenager has filled a sports stadium with 10,500 teddy bears in honour of their 15-year-old friend who died.
Aidan Jackson, 14, from Widnes made it his mission to fill the Select Stadium with the cuddly toys to raise money for the Olivia Alice Foundation - named in honour of Olivia Walker.
It took eight hours from 9am to 3pm to sit every bear he had collected from well-wishers on as many seats as he could fill.
Some bears even travelled from as far away as China.
Aidan said: “My sister was in China at the time and she was telling people about the project. Her professor told everyone to buy teddies.”

Aidan said Olivia loved stuffed animals and would have enjoyed seeing them all in the stadium.
His favorite teddy he received was a big white bear in a trench coat. One woman even donated 500 bears.
People can also still donate money through Aidan’s Teddy Bear Challenge GoFundMe page .
Olivia, a pupil at Bluebell Park in Kirkby, met Aidan at a local swimming club.
After she died two years ago from complications due to her disabilities, Aidan decided to do something in her honour.

He and his family have raised £2,600 for the Olivia Alice foundation - which donates equipment to hospitals - since its creation last year.
Aidan also raised £6,500 earlier this year for the charity by swimming the equivalent of the English Channel over three months.

Olivia received treatment at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and Claire House Children’s Hospice towards the end of her life.

He took to his own Instagram account after the procedure, and thanked Kim for popping in and sharing the experience with her followers.

Tyga settles with his former landlord after judge issues arrest warrant

 

Kylie Jenner needn't panic that her brand new $200,000 Maybach is going to be seized anymore because it's been claimed that her boyfriend Tyga has settled with his former landlord.
It has been reported that Tyga's legal representatives have reached an agreement with his former landlord's lawyers at Abir, Cohen, Treyzon and Salo.
TMZ reports that the settlement fee was for less than $480,000 but, an agreement was made.
Tyga's lawyer is now set to ask a judge in court on Friday to get the arrest warrant withdrawn.
It was previously reported that Tyga was in the middle of a concert when he was served papers over the hefty legal dispute with an ex-landlord.
Kylie's rapper boyfriend allegedly owed Gholamreza Rezai $480,285.00 in damages for his old rental property, which he vacated "sometime prior to" October 31, 2012, and was given a "gift" of legal documents informing him he was being sued while reaching out to the audience at a club show.
Boris Treyzon, the landlord's attorney, said: "We served him at Fluxx night club in San Diego on July 20th. He was performing on stage, reaching out to the audience, and our processor decided to give him a gift back."
According to the lawyer, Tyga - who had a warrant issued for his arrest on Tuesday after he failed to attend a court hearing on the matter - understood the significance of the case when he received the papers and was aware of the implications when he splashed out on a $189,000 Mercedes-Maybach for girlfriend Kylie Jenner's 19th birthday.
Treyzon added to People magazine: "On the date the debtor [Tyga]'s notice is served, there is a lien that's created on all of his assets. [That means] he isn't allowed to do any transfers.
"Once [Tyga was] served, the lien is created. Of course, we have an irate client who is owed half a million dollars and then the client reads that Tyga is giving a Maybach as a gift - that's in violation of two things.
"There is a hold on him transferring any assets while there is a judgment outstanding - that's going to be a separate action to recover that car unless the judgment is satisfied - and he's to appear in court, be placed under oath and he needs to answer questions."

London opens first nudist terrace where visitors can take off their clothes and enjoy spectacular views

The nation's first nudist terrace will open in London this week in a bid to encourage visitors to take off their clothes as they take in the sights.

The 60ft high terrace, in Parliament Square, offers spectacular views of some of the city's main attractions, including Big Ben, the London Eye and Westminster Abbey.

Visitors can make sure to sun themselves during the city's upcoming heatwave next week, while enjoying a refreshing drink at the open air bar.

It seems the terrace is part of an emerging nudist craze that is is sweeping the capital - opening just a few weeks after London's first naked restaurant.

More adventurous visitors will also be able to enjoy a work out in the nude, with a round of swing-ball or a bounce on the trampoline.

The rooftop was set-up by NOW TV to promote the launch its new 'contract-free Combo'.

Gidon Katz, Managing Director of NOW TV, says: 'As a nation, it seems we're increasingly avoiding being "tied down" in life.'

He added: 'We're going to keep breaking away from traditional conventions; firstly contracts, and now clothes.'

The nudist terrace was opened following new research that revealed young Brits today are the 'No Strings' generation, as they avoid being 'tied down' in life compared to their parents.

On average, today's under 30s are revealed to have had 38 per cent less serious relationships, lived in 28 per cent more countries and worked for 15 per cent more organisations than those 30 years ago.

Cristiano Ronaldo has offered financial support to his native Madeira following devastating wildfires which killed three people and led to mass evacuations.

The Real Madrid striker made the offer during a phone call to island president Miguel Albuquerque.
Reports in Portugal didn’t say how much he had offered.
After Wednesday’s conversation he posted a message on his Facebook page revealing his pain over the devastating fires in Madeira and other parts of Portugal, especially the north.

He said: “It is with an aching heart that I’m seeing what’s happening in Madeira and other parts of the country.
“My support goes out with a thank you to all those firefighters who are bravely risking their lives to save so many others. I am with you.”

Supercars transported from overseas to London as mega-rich Middle Eastern owners arrive for summer holidays

Hundreds of flashy supercars have descended on London’s streets as their mega-rich Arab owners come to Britain for the summer.

Stunning vehicles including a chrome Mercedes-Benz McLaren and a silver Lamborghini Aventador have been parked up outside designer shops in the capital’s most affluent areas.

The arrival of the shiny fleet has become something of an annual event.

Owners reportedly pay more than £20,000 for their cars to be flown from the Middle East to Heathrow on a special service offered by Qatar Airways .

During the 3,000-mile flight as many as 31 vehicles can be stored in the cargo hold.

They are then driven from Heathrow to central London where they can be seen parked in rich areas like Knightsbridge and Chelsea.

Last year furious residents complained about supercars revving their engines and driving disruptively forcing the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea to introduce a Public Spaces Protection Order in Knightsbridge.

Motorists are banned from rapidly accelerating, racing, performing stunts, sounding horns or causing obstructions.

Malia Obama was caught on camera "SMOKING POT” at Lollapalooza festival

The elder daughter of President Obama has been accused of using cannabis after a video emerged showing her smoking a rolled up cigarette at a concert.

According to reports in the US, Malia Obama was caught on camera smoking the cigarette at the Lollapalooza gig in Chicago last month.

The 18-year-old had already courted controversy at the concert after opting to miss the Democratic National Convention with her parents to attend the event in her hometown.

She was later pictured twerking and grinding while wearing a pair of shorts and a tight fitting boob tube.
However new footage, obtained by Radar Online , shows the teenager smoking a rolled up cigarette which a witness claims was cannabis.

Jerrdin Selwyn, 18, told the US gossip site she saw the first daughter smoking during a Bryson Tiller set on July 31.
"I caught Malia smoking pot and I have the pictures to prove it," Selwyn claimed, insisting, "You could smell the marijuana smoke.

"I saw some young guy hand her a cigarette and she took at least one hit on it.
"She had it in her hand for about one minute, then gave it back to him.”
Chicago's state of Illinois recently decriminalised possession of up to 10 grams of marijuana, replacing a criminal penalty with a fine of $100 to $200.

If the allegations are true Malia would not be the first Obama to smoke the drug.
While a secondary school pupil in Honolulu, Hawaii, in the late seventies, President Obama is said to have been a member of the "Choom Gang” - a group of boys who played basketball and smoked marijuana.

Miss BumBum competitors parade on the streets ahead of Miss BumBum competition

Some of Brazil's finest backsides were paraded on the streets this week ahead of the fifth Miss BumBum competition.
As Rio roads closed for the Olympic cycling events yesterday - traffic stopped for another reason - as the girls took the streets of Sao Paulo.

More than one hundred applications from each of Brazil's 27 states had been whittled down to just 15.
And they decided to show exactly what their behinds were made of on Monday ahead of the annual competition in November.
Competition organiser and journalist Cacau Oliver, said the event aimed to represent the wonders of Brazil, where Carnival performers have been known to take out insurance policies on their behinds.
He said: "It is a beauty competition focused on the Brazilian bum, which is a postcard picture.

"I think that is why Brazilian women look after their bodies, to show they are beautiful, they are complete with a postcard bum, so this competition is to show the strength of Brazilian women for those abroad."

Getting into the Olympic spirit, contestant Erika Canela, representing the northeastern state of Bahia, said Brazil would dominate the podium were Miss Bumbum an Olympic event.
"Definitely, (Brazil would win) lots of gold medals, every year since the Olympics began we would win gold because Brazil is known for the prettiest bums in the world," said Canela.

Competing against Canela were mother and daughter, Bruna Ferraz and Eduarda Moraes, who said she was privileged to show off the genes her mother had given her.
"Oh my god, it is marvellous, I loved taking part with my daughter, Eduarda," said Ferraz.
"It has been an honour, especially carrying these genes," added Moraes.

Contestants of the Miss Bumbum competition have to prove that they have not undergone surgery nor used chemical products.
The final will take place in November.
