Kim Kardashian hosts mermaid themed party for North West

Kim Kardashian earned serious Cool Mum points as she held a mermaid themed birthday party for little North and her cousin Penelope.
It's fair to say Kim was the hottest ever mermaid as she wore a figure hugging 'tail' and pearls.
And little North couldn't contain her pride and excitement at the themed party for her and little Penelope.
Kim wrote: "North and P had a joint mermaid party over the weekend! They are obsessed with mermaids, so we gave the party a fun Under the Sea theme."
While Kim and her daughter wore seashell style tops, Kanye West hardly pushed the boat out for the nautical theme as he wore a T-shirt.
Although Kim has donned the tail on a past occasion, we can't imagine it's been out of her wardrobe that many times.
Kim added: "How cute is this mermaid costume North had on?!
"I had to bring out my 2012 Halloween costume, when I was a mermaid. I can't believe it still fit!
"North was in awe, and I knew I would get major 'cool mom' points for wearing this."

Bobbi Kristina Brown's death was HER OWN DOING- Nick Gordon

Nick Gordon has claimed that Bobbi Kristina Brown 's death was her "own doing" as he opened up on the passing of her and her mum Whitney Houston.
World famous singer Whitney and her daughter both passed away after being found unconscious in a bath, just three years apart, and Gordon was there on both occasions.
Speaking out in a tell-all interview with the Sun on Sunday, he said: "What happened to Krissy was Krissy’s own doing, sad as it is. I didn’t get to go to my fiancee’s funeral. There’s a lot of regret there.
"On the day I went to the beach and watched the waves. It was something she liked to do and I talked to her and I cried.”
Bobbi Kristina spent six months fighting for her life in a coma after she was discovered face-down in a bath at the start of 2015.
She died on July 26 of that year, and an autopsy has since ruled that a fatal cocktail of marijuana, booze and anxiety drugs led to her drowning.
Now Gordon has claimed he was there when both her, and her mum, passed away - and insisted he gave Bobbi CPR until the ambulance arrived.
He told the newspaper: "She wasn't breathing so I gave her mouth-to-mouth. Three minutes in she spat out some water and that motivated me to keep going.
"It was the hardest and saddest thing I have ever done."
Bobbi's death came years after her mum Whitney, 48, died in similar circumstances in 2012 - and Gordon claimed he also attempted to push on her chest when she was found unconscious in her bath.
However, according to him, she was already gone and there was little he could do.
Describing the moment he broke the news to Bobbi of her mum's death - who at that time he saw more as a "sister" - Gordon admitted she took it so badly, she had to be taken to hospital.
Following that, he described them both spiralling and alleged they drunk and took drugs together. Gordon claimed Bobbi began suffering anxiety attacks, and as they grew closer, their relationship eventually developed.

Beyonce and Drake dominate BET 2016 Awards Winner list

Beyonce Knowles came out as the biggest winner of the 2016 BET Awards, which has just wrapped up. The singer took home a total of four awards, including Best Female R&B/Pop Artist. Thanks to her "Formation", she also won Video of the Year, Coca-Cola Viewers' Choice Award and Centric Award.

Drake and Bryson Tiller trailed behind with three and two awards, respectively. In addition to the Best Male Hip-Hop Artist title, Drizzy nabbed the Best Group Award for his works with Future and Best Collaboration for his latest hit with Rihanna, "Work". Tiller, meanwhile, was named Best Male R&B/Pop Artist and Best New Artist.

Other musicians making up the winner list included Nicki Minaj (Best Female Hip-Hop Artist), Kirk Franklin (Best Gospel Artist), Skepta (Best International Act U.K.) and Wizkid (Best International Act Africa).

Some actors and athletes were also honored at the 2016 BET Awards, which aired from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Taraji P. Henson and Michael B. Jordan earned the Best Actress and Best Actor titles, respectively, while Samuel L. Jackson won the Lifetime Achievement Award.

In sports categories, tennis player Serena Williams was dubbed Sportswoman of the Year. As for the Sportsman of the Year title, it went to NBA star Stephen Curry.

Lionel Messi has stunned the footballing world by announcing that he is to quit international football following Argentina's penalty shootout loss to Chile in the Copa America final.
The 29-year-old missed his spot-kick in the shootout as Argentina lost their third major final in three years, following last year's Copa America final and the 2014 World Cup final.
"It's tough, it's not the time for analysis," Messi said. "In the dressing room I thought that this is the end for me with the national team, it's not for me.
"That's the way I feel right now, it's a huge sadness once again and I missed the penalty that was so important.
"I tried so hard to be champion with Argentina. But it didn't happen. I couldn't do it."
"There are four finals, not for me, unfortunately, it was what I wanted. More than ever I wanted to win at least this cup but (it) could not be.
"It's very hard, but the decision is taken. Now I will not try more and there will be no going back.
"I tried many times to get a title and failed."
Sergio Aguero, Messi's best friend on the team, said he had never seen the mood in the dressing room so low, while Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero is hopeful that Messi may rethink his decision.
"I think Leo spoke in the heat of the moment because we missed that great chance," said Romero.
The Copa American final in New Jersey was the Barcelona star's 112th appearance for his country.
Messi scored five goals in the tournament, but blasted his penalty over the bar after the game finished 0-0 after 120 minutes.
He cut a dejected figure following the conclusion of the shootout, as as Argentina's trophy drought was extended to 23 years.
Following the game, Messi confirmed the news on Argentina's Twitter account.
Messi hangs up his international boots as Argentina's all-time leading goalscorer, having netted 55 times for his country, surpassing Gabriel Batistuta last week.

Kim Kardashian spoke up about Rob and Chyna's romance which she dubbed "embarrassing" for the family. "He must legitimately hate our whole family," the mother of two said. While the rest of the family members slammed Rob and Chyna for their secret engagement, Kylie Jenner's on-/off-beau Tyga suggested to give the pair a break. "The best thing is to sit back and just let them be," he said. "Everything you're going through I've gone through worse with her. She's not a bad person."

Khloe then angrily said, "Why was he able to propose in front of her whole family but not us? I feel like Rob is deliberately excluding us from so many things and he almost likes this wedge being put between us all," adding that Rob would "come back crawling" when he needed something because he's "full of bulls**t."

Khloe also said that she would never attend Rob's wedding. Kourtney Kardashian then fired back, "But how many weddings have we been to in this family and they don't mean s**t so let's all get over it!"

Khloe wasn't the only one who's sick with Rob's behavior. Kris Jenner vented her anger to her friend when she was on a vacation in Vail, Colorado with the rest of the family. "I'm not going to call him, he should have called me," Kris said. "To hear Rob got engaged through social media is a bit disappointing to say the least."

"So to me, overcoming that is the biggest thing. Someone may look at me and think, ‘Why would you have insecurity?’ Well, this is real life and I’m human, and these are the things that I deal with that many others might deal with.”

Kanye West debut his jaw-dropping video for controversial track FAMOUS

The rapper hosted a viewing event in Los Angeles on Friday night to premiere the song, the first visual from The Life of Pablo, that features those cutting Taylor Swift lyrics.
The NSFW video features lookalikes of Bill Cosby, Caitlyn Jenner, Amber Rose, Ray J, Kim Kardashian, Chris Brown, Rihanna, Donald Trump, Anna Wintour, George Bush and of course Taylor.
Inspired by American painter Vincent Desiderio, it also features a lot of naked flesh as they all lay in one enormous bed together.
Speaking previously about the video, which will be available to watch exclusively on Tidal for a week, he shared: “It’s not in support or anti any of [the people in the video].
“It’s a comment on fame," he added to Vanity Fair.

Just hours after Kylie Jenner uploaded a photo of herself with her ex-boyfriend Tyga tagged on her butt, HollywoodLife.com reported that the pair are getting married. According to the site, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star and the 26-year-old rapper are "on the fast track toward a reconciliation."
The marriage report surfaced after a source told E! News that the rapper started to call the makeup maven his "wifey." "They are not back together officially, but started seeing each other again romantically," the source said. "It's not as much pressure this time around because they both have had some space over the past few weeks apart. Tyga wants to get back with Kylie, though. Tyga says that [she is] his wifey, in good or bad."
However, Gossip Cop has set the record straight, saying that the marriage rumor is completely false. The source clarifies that Kylie and Tyga are not getting married and they "aren't even exclusively dating right now."

Game of Thrones Season 6 Finale: People will die

HBO may not release the official synopsis of "Game of Thrones" season 6 finale, but we've now got hints at what to expect from the upcoming episode. The stars of the hit HBO series, including Liam Cunningham and Kristofer Hivju, have described the final episode.
Cunningham who plays Davos Seaworth keeps his lips sealed to avoid sharing any spoiler, but he hints that it won't be less intense than episode nine that featured "Battle of the Bastards". He explains, "For a couple of seasons, we've built up to episode nine. We have this huge episode nine, and then going into episode 10, we see where we are for the season, and we start setting up the next season. It's going to be a little bit different this time. You can certainly say there are going to be some surprises in the next episode."
Echoing his statement, EW reports that "unlike some of the Thrones finales that aired after action-packed episodes, this season-ender definitely does not slow down the pace." It adds, "You can expect pretty much every major character to make an appearance, with Cersei and Ser Loras' trial serving as a pivotal centerpiece that will change King's Landing politics next year."
Miguel Sapochnik who directed last week's episode and the upcoming outing simply says, "People die," when asked to describe the final episode. Gemma Whelan who plays Yara Greyjoy claims it will be "thrilling, epic and overwhelming."
Kristofer Hivju who portrays Tormund Giantsbane uses the words "breathtaking, amazing, brilliant" to describe the episode. Dean-Charles Chapman who stars as Tommen Baratheon adds that it's "worth waiting for," while Tom Wlaschiha, the Jaqen H'Ghar depicter, teases, "The end is near."

The movie's official Instagram shared close-up photos of vehicles used by Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel), Letty (Michelle Rodriguez), Tej (Ludacris), Roman Pearce (Tyrese Gibson) and Luke Hobbs (Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson) in the upcoming movie.
Dominic gets a grey sedan called "dodge ice charger," Letty's car is a modified SUV called "rally fighter," Tej's ride is a modified tank called "ripshaw," Roman's is an orange Lamborghini, and Hobbs gets an "ice ram."

Mariah Carey reportedly wanted to save herself for the wedding night

As the wedding day of Mariah Carey and James Packer approaches, a source close to the pair has revealed new detail of their relationship. In an interview with The Sydney Morning Herald, the source claimed that the 46-year-old star wanted to "save herself for the wedding night."

"I hear that it has been a mostly platonic relationship," the source said, adding that the pair probably held off on having sex until they exchange vows. "According to what I hear she wants to save herself for the wedding night," the source continued.

According to a recent report, the "We Belong Together" singer and the Australian businessman are set to tie the knot on the exclusive island of Barbuda in the Caribbean. The wedding ceremony will reportedly be attended by only 50 guests and will take place sometime in the summer.

Last week, Mariah also gave updates on her wedding with her fiance. She said that the preparation's going well and she even already got her wedding dress. "You know what? It's time. The dress and the whole thing. I'm working and he's working and everyone puts so much pressure," she said. "I have the dress. It's in a box, darling."

English Premier League reacts to Brexit decision

The Premier League have given a statement on the outcome of the EU referendum , stating 'there is little point second guessing the implications until there is greater clarity'.
As with most walks of life, football will be affected in numerous ways by the historic political vote which has seen Britain vote out of the European Union.
Clubs will now not be able to sign young players from within the EU until they are aged 18 or over, perhaps putting them at a disadvantage against some of the continent's other sides.
With suggestions this could aid the long-term future of Britain's national teams, however, the Premier League have released a cautious statement about the overall impact of the vote.
A spokesman said: “The Premier League is a hugely successful sporting competition that has strong domestic and global appeal. This will continue to be the case regardless of the referendum result.
"Given the uncertain nature of what the political and regulatory landscape might be following the 'Leave' vote, there is little point second guessing the implications until there is greater clarity.
"Clearly, we will continue to work with Government and other bodies whatever the outcome of any process."

Brexit decision is devastating and bad news for TV and film industry, Game of Thrones affected

The decision for Britain to leave the European Union following yesterday's referendum has been described as "devastating" to our TV and film industry.
The chairman of the Independent Film and Television Alliance (IFTA), speaking to Variety, explained the uncertain future of the creative sector.
"The decision to exit the European Union is a major blow to the UK film and TV industry," said Michael Ryan.
"Producing films and television programs is a very expensive and very risky business and certainty about the rules affecting the business is a must.”

Many prominent actors, including Keira Knightly, Benedict Cumberbatch and Jude Law were against Britain leaving, and signed a letter saying it would damage the creative industries.
"This decision has just blown up our foundation," Mr Ryan continued.
"As of today, we no longer know how our relationships with co-producers, financiers and distributors will work, whether new taxes will be dropped on our activities in the rest of Europe or how production financing is going to be raised without any input from European funding agencies.
"The UK creative sector has been a strong and vibrant contributor to the economy — this is likely to be devastating for us."
 Game of Thrones is filmed in Northern Ireland, where the rugged scenery doubles for Westeros.
That means that local creative jobs involved in the production - from costume designers to caterers - benefit from the series being based there. If it were to leave in order to stay in the EU, many people would find themselves affected.
"It might be up in the air for US studios who want to film in the UK," said Peter Chase, a senior fellow at the German Marshall Fund of the United States' Brussels office, told Foreign Policy .

Surgeon mistakenly chopped off man's testicle then tried to cover his mistake

A surgeon was struck off after he mistakenly lopped off a man's testicle and tried to cover it up - by telling him it was very small.
Dr Marwan Farouk was supposed to repair a hernia and remove a cyst from his patient at the private BMI Chiltern Hospital in Buckinghamshire in April 2014.
But instead, he removed the entire right testicle and told staff to chuck it away - before refusing to tell the patient.
The Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service ruled on Wednesday that Farouk had been misleading or dishonest.
He told theatre staff to "chuck" the specimen or words to that effect before discarding it in the sharps bin.
Then, during a post-operative consultation with the unnamed patient on April 30, 2014, he covered his tracks by telling him: "You have a small right testicle but it won't give you any problems."
Farouk admitted during the hearing that he had removed the testicle.
The ruling told him: "As an experienced surgeon, even on a cursory examination, you must have recognised the specimen for what it was.
"This was a series of deliberate acts designed by you to cover up the fact you had made an error."
He has 28 days to appeal the decision to remove him from the medical register.
