Petr Cech set to sign for Arsenal for £11million

Arsene Wenger will end his two-year wait to sign Petr Cech when his £11million switch to Arsenal is rubber-stamped this week.
Following lengthy talks between Chelsea and the Gunners, the north London club are now supremely confident of snaring their top transfer target on a three-year deal, worth in the region of £100,000-per-week.
There was no official confirmation from Arsenal, Chelsea or Cech's representatives on Monday night, however Sportsmail understands Arsenal - barring an astonishing collapse in the deal - will complete the formalities of transfer before ratifying the move in the coming days.
The swoop ends Wenger's long wait to land the Czech Republic international.
Sportsmail can reveal the Gunners first plotted an audacious attempt to land Cech in the summer of 2013 - though they were quickly informed the keeper wasn't for sale.
At the time, Arsenal believed Thibaut Courtois was returning to Stamford Bridge for the 2013/14 season meaning Cech may be available.
There was further interest last summer, but again the Blues were unwilling to sell the goalkeeper.
But with Courtois firmly established as Chelsea's first-choice goalkeeper, Arsenal have finally secured their long-term target.

He wrote: "Congratulations Mr and Mrs Young"
Pike is the mother of Young's two children, 10-year-old son Tyler and his younger daughter Ellearana.
The two children were in attendance for the occasion, which took place at the posh Stoke Place hotel, Buckinghamshire.
The family posed together as the couple signed the register.

Highlander Syndrome: South Korea 26-year-old man who can't grow up

Hyomyung Shin, from Korea, suffers from a rare condition called the 'Highlander Syndrome', which prevents his body from physically aging and slowing his growth to almost a halt, Koreaboo reports.
He looks as young as a school kid who is yet to reach puberty but this baby-faced boy is actually a 26-year-old man.
With his soft voice, short stature and chubby cheeks, the young teenage-looking man enjoys hitting nightclubs on weekends, drinking alcohol and having a boogie on the dancefloor.
Dubbed as the Peter Pan of Korea, he often gets mistaken for a child because of his hairless soft skin, forcing him to show his identity card to prove he was born in 1989.
Appearing in a local television documentary, Mr Shin was seen dancing in his pyjamas inside his home before getting dressed into a formal suit to casual jeans, hooded jumper and a baseball cap.
Behind his bedroom door, he has a pin-up poster of Hollywood actress Scarlett Johansson, confessing his desire to meet a beautiful girl one day.
During the program, the baby-faced man, who claims he still hasn't hit puberty, had a makeover in an attempt to look older but unfortunately, he still appeared young.
Photographs emerged from his childhood, showing Mr Shin appearing to have developed normally as a kid but his growth suddenly stopped in his teenage years.
The film also shows Mr Shin, who is 163 centimetres tall, going on a date in a cafe with a young woman who appeared shocked when he told her his age.
Despite his condition, doctors said Mr Shin is in good health.

It's a boy! Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are expecting a Son

Kim Kardashian revealed her baby's gender on late Sunday, June 21. Kim posted on Instagram a photo of her husband Kanye West reading to their daughter North West along with a sweet message which read, "Precious moments like this when we were traveling on tour with you are what I live for. You're such a good daddy to North & you will be the best daddy to our new son too!"
Earlier this month, Kim denied having a baby boy after a so-called pal revealed the sex of their baby. "So many rumors ... we are not having twins, yes I am carrying my own baby lol & we have not told anyone the sex of our baby yet!" the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star tweeted at that time. "Nothing is confirmed unless you hear it from me!"

While it's still unknown what name Kim will pick for her son, she has ruled out South West. "I don't like South West though, because North will always be better, and she has a better direction," she told NPR, "I wouldn't do that. I don't think we'll go with another direction."

"You'll be surprised at all the names people do send us," she added, "I mean, everyone keeps saying South, and I think that's so stupid. It's the stupidest thing ever, and just ridiculous."

Paul Walker's Daughter shares tribute pic in honor of Father's Day

Paul Walker's daughter Meadow shares a throwback photo as she paid tribute to her deceased father. The 16-year-old girl posted the sweet vintage image on Sunday, June 21 via Instagram in honor of Father's Day.
The photograph shows the "Fast and Furious" actor lying on the floor while holding Meadow as a baby and planting a kiss on her cheek. Meadow looks straight at the camera while flashing a big smile and hugging Paul's neck.
The only daughter of Paul simply captioned it, "Happy Father's Day."
This is Meadow's second Father's Day without her dad since he died at the age of 40 following a horrible car crash in November 2013. She has been since keen on paying tribute to his dad by posting throwback photos of him.

Not What it Look Like- England Under-20s Football Stars in Their Training Camp

At first glance, they look like any bunch of young lads sitting down to a meal. In this case, they happen to be the England Under-20s football squad. Look more closely, though, and you will see a startling fact: one table is entirely inhabited by black players, the other by white.
The same pattern can be seen in other pictures taken at the squad’s training base during a tournament in France last month.
Exercising in the swimming pool, six white players line up alongside each other, while the black youngsters gather together at the other end of the pool. And on a line of training bikes, it is the same story. Black and white separated by colour.
So what are we to make of it?
It is clear there is no animus between the groups. Indeed, other pictures taken during the tour show the squad training, laughing and joking together with no divisions at all. They are comfortable and happy in each other’s company. And yet as we can see, more than once — in social and sporting situations — the group seems subconsciously to divide in two.
There is clearly no racism at play here, in either direction, but the pictures illuminate an element of British society that is too often ignored, not least because in this politically correct age it is deemed taboo.
Look at playgrounds and parks, youth clubs and nightclubs and you will see this pattern repeated time and again. Whites will socialise with whites, blacks with blacks, and Asians with Asians. They effectively segregate themselves.

North Korea claims to have cured Aids, Ebola, Sars and Mers with a single drug- which they chose not to reveal

Kim Jong-un claims to have succeeded where the greatest minds in science have failed... by producing a single drug which can prevent and cure Aids, Ebola, Sars and Mers.
North Korea is currently suffering from one of the worst droughts in its history while still pursuing a nuclear programme.
The official Korean Central News Agency said the portly despot's scientists developed miracle drug Kumdang-2 from ginseng and other ingredients - without saying which.
North Korea claimed the same drug cured deadly bird flu outbreaks in 2006 and 2013.
The North’s claim comes as rival South Korea fights an outbreak of Mers - a respiratory disease similar to SARS - that has killed two dozen people.
There is no known vaccine for the disease.
North Korea’s announcement via their central news agency today contained no detailed information. Korea is one of the world’s largest producers of ginseng.
North Korea is currently suffering from it’s worst drought in over a century, leading some commentators to believe the science announcement was meant to divert attention from the problem in a country highly dependant on agriculture.
Thirty percent of its rice paddies have dried up, and the UN has warned that the food supply could be seriously affected.

What is ginseng?

The herbal drug is taken from the root of the perennial plant and has been used for hundreds of years.
It has been claimed to be a suitable treatment to boost the immune system, lower blood sugar levels, which could benefit people with type 2 diabetes as well as help fend off cancer, heart disease, fatigue, erectile dysfunction, hepatitis C, high blood pressure, menopausal symptoms and other conditions.

Game of Thrones S5: Lena Headey's nude walk of shame body double speaks out (Rebecca Van Cleave)

Lena Headey

The body double who performed Game of Thrones’ Walk of Shame nude for three days is breaking her silence on enacting the stunning sequence.
Actress Rebecca Van Cleave (photo below) worked closely with star Lena Headey on the gripping penance walk in Sunday’s season 5 finale. While filming the Walk in Dubrovnik last October, Van Cleave performed nude while Headey wore a simple beige shift. The show’s visual effects team then merged the performances together—combining Headey’s progression of facial emotions during Cersei’s punishing hike to the Red Keep and Van Cleave’s physical movement echoing Headey’s body language in order to create the seamless illusion that Headey was completely bare for the sequence.
“It was one of the scariest, most wonderful, most gratifying experiences I could have imagined,” Van Cleave tells EW. “I never in a million years would have thought I would be in Dubrovnik surrounded by hundreds of extras and crew members throwing food at me, but it was amazing.”
More than 1,000 actresses applied for the role of Headey’s double for the season’s climactic sequence, where proud Cersei Lannister is shorn, stripped and forced to march for miles through a hostile King’s Landing crowd. Seven finalists were then flown to Belfast to meet with producers, including Van Cleave, an American who has landed theater and minor roles since she was 5, but had never previously performed a nude scene. “It was actually the most comfortable casting I’ve ever had, considering,” Van Cleave says.
Headey says she chose not to be nude for the six-minute climactic sequence “for several reasons,” among them that she wanted to focus on the emotions in her performance. She also opted out of the casting process for her double. “I was like, ‘Listen guys, she happens to have a beautiful body, but I don’t do casting,” the Emmy nominee says. “If somebody is brave enough to do this, I applaud it.”
Director David Nutter called Van Cleave’s casting one of the most important parts of making the finale. “We needed somebody who could do The Walk of Shame physically, somebody who could match Lena’s integrity, intensity and sensibility,” Nutter says. “We found a tremendous actress in Rebecca; she was a godsend. The courage of this girl, who’s never done anything like this in her life, who understood what was important about this … once I had her I felt like I could accomplish anything.”

EW was on the Thrones set when the sequence was filmed. Headey would walk Van Cleave through each shot, giving step-by-step insight into Cersei’s mindset. “Lena was so good about walking beside me and guiding me into what Cersei was thinking and the movements,” Van Cleave says. “We were playing tag team ‘You’re it!’ and trying to make light of the fact we’re all covered in everything and going through this together.”
As for what it was like to march naked through 500 screaming extras hurling food, liquid, and derogatory terms, Van Cleave says, “The first time I took off the robe there was all this anticipation building up to it. But it’s such an emotional experience for Cersei, you almost check out of the fact that you’re nude. You’re so in touch with the scene and what you’re going for.”
Yet there were some rough moments, too. “Particularly moments when I got all kinds of stuff thrown at me, with the chamber pots [being dumped out],” Van Cleave says. “Then on the last day, there was a well of emotion when she’s finally getting to the end and I was getting to the end too—not in a bad way, it’s almost like being one with the character.”
During our on-set interview with Headey, the actress praised Van Cleave’s work ethic. “It was a long process trying to find somebody who got what it means physically to be there with all that stuff going on, and Rebecca is a great actress,” Headey says. “It takes a lot to walk through the crowd naked for three days in a row with the crowd braying at you.”
Fast-forward eight months later to Sunday night’s finale. Van Cleave watched her performance combined with Headey’s for the first time. So what was that like? “It was very surreal and emotional, to be honest,” Van Cleave says. “I had a good little cry afterward. Lena and I put so much into that scene and to see it all come together was really special.”
The performance was so top secret that many of Van Cleave’s friends and family don’t yet know about her role on the hit show. And while body doubles are typically nearly invisible to those outside the industry, the U.K. press outed Van Cleave on Thursday, so she won’t be anonymous for long.
The actress also notes she disagrees with some of reactions she’s read to Headey utlizing a double in the scene. “I personally don’t agree with anybody who says having a body double detracts from the scene,” Van Cleave says. “Lena put her heart and soul into that scene. It should all be about the finished product, not about whose body was where and and whose head was where.”
Having said all that, Van Cleave hopes her work on Thrones helps her land her a role that’s a bit more traditional. “It’s definitely the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but also the best experience of my life,” she says. “And I hope the next thing I do will have my head in it!”

Naked for the love of sport: Venezuela newsreaders strip off on air regarding made promise if team win

A positive Copa America result for Venezuela apparently means attractive female news readers need to get naked.

Sports broadcasting in Venezuela seems to work somewhat differently to what we're accustomed to here in Britain.
In Venezuela, the newsreaders still tell the viewers about the latest results and stories from the football world. They just do it naked.
In fairness, the ladies from subscription news website Desnudando la Noticia are probably the only ones doing it in the buff. But still…
Last week, they claim that they would mark any Venezuelan success at the Copa America by getting naked - all in the name of "empowering women" (ahem).
Well, Venezuela beat Colombia 1-0 in their opening game - and true to their word, one of the ladies doing the channel's most recent report in her birthday suit.

The lady in question runs through the results of the first few Copa America matches, weirdly making no reference to the fact she is taking off every stitch of clothing.
The only nod to their previous vow of nudity comes in her sign off:
"We just want to say well done to all the teams who appeared in these first games. A big kiss and a message to the national team - we're with you…"
It may be unorthodox, but this motivational tool is clearly working; Venezuela were certainly not expected to beat the Colombians.

Kim Kardashian shares new pics from North West's birthday party

Kim captioned the pic.

Planets at war: Jupiter and Venus to collide in the sky- NASA

Jupiter and Venus are to converge in the night skies this month, creating a spectacular event for stargazers.
The two brightest planets in the night’s sky are converging for what NASA is describing as a "jaw-dropping close encounter".
“You don’t want to miss any of the action,” the space agency says in a video.
To view the phenomenon you have to go outside and look west just as the Sun goes down - you don’t even have to wait until the sky is fully dark.
Jupiter and Venus have been steadily coming together during the month so far and are now around 10 degrees apart - meaning you can hide them both at the same time behind the palm of your outstretched hand.
The main event to look out for is on June 30, when Jupiter and Venus are so close they almost look like they are colliding - you’ll be able to block them both out with an outstretched little finger.

Britain’s Largest Family: 17 Children and Still Counting

Noel and Sue head up Britain’s largest family, which last week welcomed its latest member — a 7lb 15oz girl called Hallie.
Incredibly, she is the 17th child for the couple whose other children include Chris, 26, Sophie, 21, Chloe, 19, Jack, 17, Daniel, 15, Luke, 14, Millie, 13, Katie, 12, James, 11, Ellie, nine, Aimee, eight, Josh, seven, Max, six, Tillie, four, Oscar, three and two-year-old Caspar.
It may seem like an extraordinary number of children, but Noel, 43, and Sue, 39 — who shot to fame several years ago in the Channel 4 documentary 15 Kids And Counting — are taking it in their stride.
Since Sue got pregnant with their eldest son Chris when she was just 13 — she and Noel were childhood sweethearts — very few years have gone by when she hasn’t been expecting. The couple say they originally planned on having three children, but they loved the experience so much that they simply kept going.
Of course, large families like the Radfords’ are not uncommon. But what makes their story stand out from the usual headlines about double-digit progeny is that they refuse to rely on state benefits. Instead, they work and support themselves by running a successful bakery business.
‘It’s important that our children see us working,’ says Sue, at their ten-bedroom home in Morecambe, Lancashire.
‘When they’re old enough, they go out to work themselves. Chris is a scaffolder while Sophie and Chloe help out in the shop. They have been doing that since they were 14.

AC Milan confirm head coach Filippo Inzaghi dismissal

AC Milan have finally confirmed the dismissal of head coach Filippo Inzaghi.
He was reported to have been dismissed on June 4, with former Sampdoria boss Sinisa Mihajlovic already having announced himself as Inzaghi's successor, but the club have only now officially communicated the 41-year-old's exit.
A short statement on the club's official website read: "AC Milan announces that it has sacked first-team coach Filippo Inzaghi and thanks him for the work he has done."
Inzaghi, who starred for Milan as a striker between 2001 and 2012, replaced former teammate Clarence Seedorf as Rossoneri boss last year.
However, he oversaw a disappointing campaign in which the club finished 10th in Serie A -- their worst position in 17 years -- and he has now been relieved of his duties.

Game of Thrones S5 Finale: Jon Snow was betrayed and slaughtered by his men... 'He's Served Justice'

"Game of Thrones" was never shy of killing off its characters, but the season 5 finale may have just delivered the biggest death on the show so far. Jon Snow, a beloved character on the series, was betrayed and slaughtered by his men at the Night's Watch, with his protege Olly delivering the fatal stab.

Speaking about the shocking death, Kit Harington who played the bastard son of Ned Stark says he "knew it was coming." He tells Entertainment Weekly, "I didn't read [George R.R. Martin's novel] 'A Dance with Dragons'. But I read the other books and I had heard this is what happens. So I had an inkling it should be this season."

"I loved it," he says of the scene. "I loved how they brought Olly in to be the person who kills me. I love how the storyline with Thorne was wrapped up. I think it was really well crafted by [showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss]. It felt like the right way for it to happen."

Still, he understands how Jon Snow would've felt about being betrayed by his men. "I had wanted it to be a beautiful death, a release," he tells New York Daily News. "But they way it unfolded, it was a huge betrayal and a gruesome death. It was an abrupt and brutal finish with no absolutely no peace for Jon in the end."

"He dies sad," the actor adds, "understanding that the last person to stab him is Olly, his steward. Jon had taken him under his wing and mentored the boy, but he forgets that this boy's family has been murdered by wildlings. There's a real loneliness at the end for Jon Snow."

Harington realizes Jon Snow had made "a huge amount of fault." He goes on detailing his character's mistakes, "He hasn't paid attention to the people around him. He's only looked at the big picture this season. His major fault is a bit like Ned's in that when trying to do the right thing he wasn't observing the people around him. He had blinders on."

"All he could really see is this impending doom by the White Walkers and doing things for the greater good, and what he was missing was Olly and [Ser Alliser] Thorne and some of the men around him. He wasn't seeing their discontent and dealing with the smaller issues. And because of that, he's served justice. Olly puts the last dagger in him. In that moment i think he realizes that he didn't look after his kin, this young man, and let him down."

"He makes the humanitarian choice," says Harington. "And just like his father, the moral choice gets him killed." Showrunner David Benioff says a similar thing about the consequence faced by Jon Snow, "On this show it always seems that when you have someone who tries to do the right thing, they get punished for it."

Harington says it's "heartbreaking" that Jon Snow "never finds out who his mother is," but "we have to go by what 'Thrones' does. And 'Thrones' treats drama as real life. And people die and don't accomplish what we think they're meant to in real life."

The actor goes on confirming that his character is dead. "I'm quite dead," he says. "It's over for Jon Snow - at the very least, he gets to join his family and kin and leave this terrible world behind." He adds, "If anything in the future is not like that, then I don't know about it - it's only in David and Dan and George's heads. But I've been told I'm dead. I'm dead. I'm not coming back next season. So that's all I can tell you, really."

While his character is gone from the show, Harington says there are others who viewers can root for. "Follow Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) or Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) or Brianne (Gwendoline Christie)," he suggests. "There are certain good people left in there. Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) to an extent, although that's a very gray area."

As for what makes his character lovable, he explains, "What I loved about Jon is that he really wasn't that much of a gray character. There was ignorance and stupidity, and naivet e , definitely. But a bad soul? No. And I think that's why people liked him. He was always trying to do the right thing - he really was one of the last bastions of goodness left in Westeros."

Chris Brown had a feud again with his ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran

The war of words taking place on Instagram was triggered by the "Ayo" hitmaker's comment on Karrueche's interview and soon concluded by his sincere reply.
The R&B singer made a harsh comment on a video showing the model's interview talking about him. He was dismayed by his ex-girlfriend who was willing to talk in public about their relationship. "Honestly, it's so f**king pointless to keep doing interviews about me. Talk about your career," so he wrote. "Da f**k u keep doing interviews for. Yes. I have a daughter. And I'm gonna man the f**k up and take care of her." Chris also asked Karrueche to stop doing interview when it would just make their relationship even worse. "If there is no more relationship then u shouldn't be doing f**king interviews with people I won't let get pleasure of prying into my personal life," he continued.
The 27-year-old model soon slammed her ex-boyfriend with a fierce lengthy note on Instagram. She posted a picture of her lifting one eyebrow. She began by pointing out the 26-year-old singer's earlier interview in which he spoke about her. "First off @chrisbrownofficial you just did an interview w Ryan Seacrest in which you spoke about me. My interview w Access Hollywood was not entirely about you.. they asked a question and as a mature adult I answered. I'm not gonna shy away from something that I lived through. I'm talking about my life and experiences. I'm not speaking on you or bashing you (like I easily could)," she wrote.
Karrueche also recalled how the "Loyal" singer wasn't loyal to her. "Don't be mad at me because our relationship is over due to your lack of loyalty." She then mentioned their fight earlier this month in which he damaged her car. "You know what's weak?? You forcing yourself into my car.. my broken window.. blowing up my phone.. trying to shower me w gifts..," the model added.
She then put an expletive similar to how Chris put on his early comment and offered him her career information, "Man the f**k up and change the bs in your life like I've told you several times. Since you want to hear about my career - check out @vanityseries every Thursday on StyleHaul.com.. Emmy winning @thebaytheseries this Sept and 3 Headed Shark Attack on SyFy next month." She ended her note by wishing the best for him and his baby. "Best of luck to you and beautiful Royalty," she concluded.

Surprisingly, Chris didn't reply with anger or another harsh note. Instead, he expressed his gratitude for having had relationship with her. "I'm eternally thankful for you being in a part of my life. I've learned so much from you. I wish u nothing but happiness and the best," he added. "@karrueche all I was doing was trying to fight for the woman I love. ThanxI learned a lot."
The two split up after the news broke in March that Chris had a baby with model Nia Guzman. Since then, their relationship was getting worse.

Kate Middleton shows off slim post-baby body in skinny jeans

Kate Middleton enjoyed a playdate with Prince George while his father played in a match during Gloucestershire Festival of Polo at the Beaufort Polo Club in Gloucestershire in England on Sunday, June 14. The Duchess of Cambridge looked slim in skinny jeans and a Me + Em striped navy top, just six weeks after giving birth to Princess Charlotte in May.

The mother of two completed her look with Sebago "Bala" shoes and sunglasses. Her son, meanwhile, donned a buttoned, blue V-neck cardigan over a white collared shirt, dark blue shorts and blue Crocs. The two played on the grass as his father played in a match.

An onlooker tells Us Weekly, "George had a lot of fun. When he saw his cousins rolling around on a hill, he wanted to get involved too, so he raced over the slope and tried to roll. Kate was with him and they were lying in the grass together. He's so cute."
