After 22 years: Kris Jenner Files for Divorce From Bruce Jenner

Kris Jenner has filed for divorce from her husband, Bruce Jenner, after 22 years of marriage. According to Us Weekly, the court documents were signed on September 5 and filed in L.A. Superior Court on Monday, September 22.

Kris filed the documents without a lawyer, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason of the split. Neither Kris nor Bruce will receive spousal support but both of them will have joint custody of their 17-year-old daugther Kylie Jenner, the only minor left in the family. The couple date of separation was listed as June 1, 2013. Property split is still to be determined.

Back in October, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" stars told E! Online about their separation, saying they were "living separately and are much happier this way. But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority."

Kris and Bruce got married in April 1991. The pair have two children together, Kylie and Kendall Jenner. Kris has four other children from her first marriage; Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and Rob Kardashian. Bruce also has four other children, including Brody Jenner, from his previous two marriages.

Pope Francis: Let no one consider themselves to be the 'armor' of God while planning and carrying out acts of violence and oppression

The usually chill Pope Francis was quite fired up during a speech Sunday in Albania.

Using the formerly communist country as an example of two religions working harmoniously together (in this instance, Christianity and Islam), the pope delivered a scathing critique of extremists who are "perverting" religion as means to justify violence. 

"Let no one consider themselves to be the 'armor' of God while planning and carrying out acts of violence and oppression!" Francis told a small crowd, which included Albanian President Bujar Nishani, in the capital city of Tirana. "May no one use religion as a pretext for actions against human dignity and against the fundamental rights of every man and woman, above all, the right to life and the right of everyone to religious freedom!"

A clear message: Francis lauded Albania's interreligious harmony as an "inspiring example" for the world, but pointed to a number of other places where such harmonizing could use some serious work. 

"This is especially the case in these times in which authentic religious spirit is being perverted by extremist groups," he added, likely referring to recent acts of terrorism perpetuated by groups claiming to act in the name of God. 

As the Associated Press notes, security was beefed up for the Pope's 11-hour visit due to threats from the Islamic State. The Vatican, however, said no special security measures were taken. 

Observers noted that his interactions with the 300,000-strong crowd for his mass were "reduced compared to his previous foreign trips." 

A solid track record: Francis' comments fall in line with his past forward-thinking remarks. Last month, he told investors to lend money to responsible lenders that "focus on social good instead of profits." And in May, he took a surprising moment out of his trip to Israel to pray at the barrier wall running through Bethlehem separating Israelis and Palestinians.

Frank Lampard is perfect for Manchester City- Vincent Kompany

Vincent Kompany believes Frank Lampard and Manchester City are a perfect fit for one another -- and thinks the 36-year-old proved it with a goal that the Belgian believes could have a huge impact on their season.

The veteran midfielder opened his City account against his former club Chelsea to earn the Premier League champions a 1-1 draw on Sunday.

Without Lampard's strike, City would have been eight points behind league leaders Chelsea after five games and Kompany feels it could prove crucial in the final reckoning.

Lampard joined City on loan until January when he goes to New York FC to prepare for their inaugural MLS season.

And Kompany said: "He needed what we can offer him and I think we needed what he can bring to us. If you talk to him I reckon that's how he sees it as well and today was just the icing on the cake. He brings experience.

"It is not a word you make up, it is something that helps and it is like his goal: keeping your head cool in a moment when you are under pressure and down to 10 men -- how many players would have scored that goal? He has proven it himself in only a few minutes, which is good.

"Ever since I have been at this club, seasons and big moments have been decided on small events like this so I will never underestimate what it could mean to our season. It could be crucial."

Lampard scored a record 211 goals for Chelsea and Kompany thinks he proves he still has the ability to succeed at the highest level.

He added: "He brings quality. The goal he scored you would have seen for the last 15 years in the Premier League. He is clever, still extremely motivated and ultimately you play so many competitions you need all the guys to be there and he is another who will clearly make our team stronger. I can base things on what I see day in, day out on the training ground and he is one of the better players."

Vin Diesel shared new photos of him in "The Last Witch Hunter". The bulky actor is currently filming supernatural actioner directed by Breck Eisner in Pittsburgh.

The two images capture Diesel in costume as Kaldur, the immortal witch hunter tasked with the job of coming between the covens of New York City and their goal to destroy humanity by way of a horrific plague. At the same time, the actor hinted at the movie's release date, writing, "Kaldur state of mind ... The Last Witch Hunter. Fall 2015!"

Diesel also shared two new behind-the-scene photos from the set. He captioned a photo of him looking at the script, "Kaulder is truly unlike any character I have ever played ...An exciting challenge. Fighting Ebola: Sierra Leone Three-day Curfew declared "success"

A three-day curfew aimed at containing the Ebola outbreak in Sierra Leone has been declared a success by authorities.

The wide-ranging curfew ended at midnight on Sunday (GMT) and will not be extended, authorities said.

Sierra Leone has been one of the countries worst affected by the outbreaks, with more than 550 victims among the 2,600 deaths so far recorded.

Meanwhile, neighbouring Liberia announced a four-fold increase in the number of beds for Ebola patients.

Liberia is the country worst-hit by the epidemic, accounting for more than half the number of total deaths.

The Ebola outbreak in West Africa is the worst ever, the World Health Organization (WHO) says. The deadly virus is transmitted through sweat, blood and saliva, and there is no proven cure.

The curfew in Sierra Leone came into force on Friday morning, with most of the country's six million inhabitants confined to their homes.

Around 30,000 medical volunteers travelled to affected neighbourhoods to find and treat patients and distribute soap.

Deputy Chief Medical Officer Sarian Kamara said authorities had managed to discover 22 new cases of the virus during the curfew.

"Had they not been discovered, they would have greatly increased transmission," he said.

He also said between 60 and 70 Ebola victims had been buried in the past two days. Bodies of Ebola victims are highly contagious and their swift burial is considered key to containing the disease.

Earlier on Sunday, the head of the country's Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) Stephen Gaojia said there was a "very strong possibility" that the curfew would be extended.

"Even though the exercise has been a huge success so far, it has not been concluded in some metropolitan cities like Freetown and Kenema," he said.

The three-day curfew is the most aggressive measure taken against the virus yet by a West African country.

Manchester United lack defensive leader

Manchester United conceded four goals in the space of 21 second-half minutes in their disastrous defeat by Leicester but it was not their collapse that concerned me the most - it was the fact they looked so vulnerable throughout the whole game.

What went so wrong? Well, United's defence lacked leadership, experience and quality. But if I criticise them, then it is also important that I point out they did not have much protection.

The balance of the team was all wrong. We already knew Louis van Gaal's squad was top-heavy with superb attacking talent but this game was the first time we have seen that it does not matter how dangerous they are going forward if they cannot defend.

At times, they were simply all over the place.

You cannot tell me that they did not have the better players - if you compared the two teams on paper, United should have won the game.

But, tactically, United were naïve.

That, on top of the inexperience of some of their players, combined to make them so bad at the back that, every time Leicester went forward in the second half, it felt like they could have scored. 

Leicester should never have got the penalty that led to their second goal, and that clearly ended up being a big boost for them. Even so, there is no excuse for United conceding three more.

They were still 3-2 up with less than half an hour remaining and, although they were under pressure, the game should still have been in their control. Instead, they were nervous.

When you are in that situation, leadership matters. I am talking about somebody at the back organising things - telling a couple of midfielders to sit in front of the defence and saying "stay there and don't move".

In the past, Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic have been that voice, but they have gone and not been replaced.

Instead, against Leicester, United had 20-year-old Tyler Blackett at the heart of their defence. He is learning his trade and was never going to provide that kind of authority.

When you are a young lad in a back four, you need help from all around you but because of the number of attack-minded players that United had on the pitch, that did not happen. The Leicester players were given far too much space.

I can understand why it happened, because it is hard for players who are forward-thinking to change their mentality and dig in. Too many of United's players have that mind-set.

Aftermath of Kim's leaked naked pics online: Kanye West looks furious as he jets out of LA

Kanye West is bound to be feeling a little out of sorts after seeing photos of his naked wife splashed across the web.

And the rapper certainly looked furious as he jetted out of Los Angeles on Sunday.

His departure came hours after naked photos of Kim Kardashian were leaked online in the latest twist in the celeb photo hacking scandal.

The intimate images, which were not meant for public view, have since been viewed by tens of thousands.

Kanye certainly seemed to be aware of the scandal - in which hackers have targeted dozens of public figures - as he arrived to catch his flight at LAX. 

With a scowl on his face, the 37-year-old stalked past photographers at the airport, his hands in his pockets.

Along with Kim, others targeted include singer Rihanna, actress Vanessa Hudgens and U.S. goalkeeper Hope Solo.

It comes just three weeks after naked photos of actress Jennifer Lawrence and '100 other stars', including supermodel Kate Upton and actress Aubrey Plaza, were published online.

Manuel Pellegrini is hypocritical- Jose Mourinho

Jose Mourinho has accused Manuel Pellegrini of hypocrisy for criticising his team following Chelsea's 1-1 draw against Manchester City on Sunday.

The Portuguese referred to his City counterpart twice as "Mr Pellegrino" in a seemingly deliberate slip, and hit back after the Chilean branded Chelsea "a small team" for what he perceived to be defensive tactics by the Premier League leaders.  

Mourinho was Pellegrini's replacement at Real Madrid in 2010 and the pair have had an awkward relationship since, with the Chelsea manager claiming the 61-year-old is guilty of double standards in his comments about opponents.

"Pellegrino many times says he never speaks about me and my team but he keeps doing the same thing," he told his postgame news conference. "I am the one that does as he says. I don't comment on his words. Don't ask me about his words, I am not interested in that."

Mourinho used his argument to decline to discuss Frank Lampard's equaliser against his former club.

The 36-year-old, who played for the Portuguese in both of his spells at Chelsea, scored 211 goals for the Blues and got his first goal for City against them to level the game.

His former manager added: "I don't speak about players from other teams, I am sorry. I don't speak about Frank. To speak about Frank is to speak about my past with Frank, the player he was for what he means in my career.

"I will never tire of speaking about this. But the moment he is a Man City player, he is a Man City player. I don't speak about other teams' players. Mr Pellegrino, instead of speaking about other teams' players, should speak about Frank Lampard. I am Chelsea manager, I speak about my players. My players did fantastic."

Mourinho's team extended their lead at the Premier League summit to three points and despite losing their lead late on, he argued it was a positive result.

"It is one point won because we arrive here leaders with two points more than [the team in] second and we leave the stadium with three points' lead," he added. "I don't look to direct opponents, I don't look to other clubs in a special way.

"I look to the table and we are leaders with three points. We come here to a super-difficult stadium and a super-difficult opponent and we leave to better conditions than we arrived, so good."

United untouchable player: Wayne Rooney's spot remain constant... rest will have to battle- Louis van Gaal

Louis van Gaal has indicated that Wayne Rooney is the only untouchable outfield player in his star-studded Manchester United squad following this summer’s £150million spending spree.

Rooney faces competition from Radamel Falcao, Angel di Maria, Juan Mata and Robin van Persie in United’s attack, but Van Gaal says that only his captain and possibly goalkeeper David de Gea are likely to be the guaranteed names on the teamsheet.

‘I don’t think any player is fixed,’ said the United boss. ‘Only the captain has more privileges but no other player has privileges I think. Every player knows that because you see how I manage my teams – my captain shall always play and normally the goalkeeper.’

Rooney is one of only four players to have started Van Gaal’s first four Premier League games and, surprisingly, one of the others is young defender Tyler Blackett.

‘There are always players you put in a team,’ said the United boss. ‘Maybe it’s a surprise Blackett has played all the games but he has played well.’

The Dutchman also insisted that Van Persie will still be in contention for a place in the starting line-up once Falcao has reached full fitness.

He added: ‘I don’t think that Falcao interferes with Van Persie or Van Persie interferes with Falcao.

‘Falcao is a very good striker but I said in the first press conference that I like Van Persie also. He’s also a very good striker and we also have Rooney, (Adnan) Januzaj and (James) Wilson. We have five players for the two strikers positions and I have to choose.’ 

Van Gaal admits that he would love to have Rooney's former team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo back at Manchester United but does not think Real Madrid would sell the Portuguese star.

Asked if he would take Ronaldo back, the Dutchman said: ‘When it is possible, what I said with Falcao, players like Ronaldo give a lot extra to a team, but I don’t think Real Madrid shall sell him.

‘It’s always a discussion in the papers and I don’t think the media shall buy Ronaldo.’

Sierra Leone begins three-day curfew in order to allow health workers have easy access to ebola infected patients

Thousands of health workers began knocking on doors across Sierra Leone on Friday in search of hidden Ebola cases as the entire West African nation was locked down in their homes in an unprecedented effort to combat the deadly disease.

Wooden tables lay empty at the capital's usually vibrant food markets. Police stood guard at roadblocks in this nation of six million people. This crumbling seaside capital, its streets normally crowded with bumper-to-bumper traffic, seemed like a ghost town.

Health workers planned to give each household a bar of soap during neighborhood canvassing. Once a house is visited it is to be marked with a sticker. President Ernest Bai Koroma urged Sierra Leoneans to cooperate.

'The survival and dignity of each and every Sierra Leonean is at stake,' he said Thursday night in an address to the nation.

The lockdown comes as six people were arrested in neighbouring Guinea for the deaths of eight people who were on an Ebola awareness campaign.

 

At least 562 people are believed to have died from Ebola since the virus came to Sierra Leone from neighbouring Guinea. It is believed that more than 2,600 people have died across west Africa since the current outbreak started. 

 

Authorities hope to find and isolate Ebola patients who have resisted going to health centers, often seen only as places to die. Some international health experts have warned there might not be enough beds at treatment centers for new patients found during the three-day lockdown which ends Sunday.

UNICEF said the measure provides an opportunity to tell people how to protect themselves.

'If people don't have access to the right information, we need to bring life-saving messages to them, where they live, at their doorsteps,' said Roeland Monasch, UNICEF Representative in Sierra Leone. In a statement, the U.N. children's fund said the operation needs to be carried out 'in a sensitive and respectful manner.'

Most seemed to be taking the order seriously, and there were no immediate reports of resistance to the lockdown.

'It will protect our country from this dangerous virus,' said Ishmail Bangura, a Freetown resident. 'Many of our people have died - nurses and doctors too - so if they ask us to stay home for three days, for me it not bad.'

‘I’ve known Cesc since we were 16-years-old and were in the Spanish youth squads together.

‘I’m looking forward to facing him but in pretty much every game now I seem to be up against a Spanish teammate – when we play Arsenal it’s Santi (Cazorla) or when it’s United it will be Juan Mata.

‘But it’s really all about how the team plays, and our aim as always is to go out and win the game.’

Costa’s impact has seen Chelsea set the early-season pace and they can move eight points ahead of City if they win tomorrow.

The clip starts out with Justin holding a spatula while standing over a frying pan as he jokes around by speaking in a foreign accent.

'As you can see, I'm cooking an organic chicken breast,' the Baby singer says while laughing as the camera pans to show a pal in the background.

Wearing a Los Angeles Dodgers jersey, the pop star then slices up a piece of broccoli on a cutting board and says 'chopping it up' several times before smirking at the camera.

The video then cuts to him holding up a large knife as he iterates his prowess in the kitchen by stating, 'I know what I'm doing.'

The camera quickly pans to reveal a long haired brunette in a colourful printed frock cooking up vegetables, but while her face cannot be seen clearly it does bare a striking likeness to Selena.

But as he seemingly believes there are way too many cooks in the kitchen, Justin assumes his position as head chef in charge by demanding, 'Hey step away from the stove.'

The video comes on the heels of reports that the Boyfriend singer has asked Selena to move into his bachelor pad.

'Selena and Justin are a hundred percent together right now, he’s asked her to move in with him and she couldn’t be happier,' an insider revealed to HollywoodLife.com on Thursday.

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini believes Yaya Toure's form could be suffering as he comes to terms with his brother's death.

Pellegrini, whose renowned man-management skills were a key factor in his appointment at the Etihad Stadium, has offered the club's full support to his star midfielder.

The Chilean manager's thoughts throw a different light on Toure's below-par performances in the opening weeks of the new season.

The Ivorian has not matched the standards he set during a brilliant 2013-14 campaign, with critics coming out in force after Wednesday's Champions League loss at Bayern Munich.

The 31-year-old's fitness, body language, commitment and defensive work were all questioned after a particularly ineffectual second-half display at the Allianz Arena. There were also suggestions the City talisman could be past his best.

But Pellegrini insists those issues have not affected him and any lack of edge could be down to the impact of the loss of his younger brother Ibrahim to cancer in June.

Pellegrini, speaking at a press conference, said: "He is a player that makes a difference in big games.

"Maybe some of you think it's strange he is not in the best moment, but we started the season and maybe he had a lot of personal problems with his brother, not what was said in the media, but in what he feels about it. There are a lot of human things and maybe that is why he is not in his best performance at the moment.

"I think as a team, as a coach, as a club we must support him because he is a very important player. He makes a difference and I'm sure he will return to his best."

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has insisted midfielder Mesut Ozil should not be made a scapegoat for his side's failings, after he was again the subject of criticism following his side's 2-0 defeat against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on Tuesday.

It was not the first time the form and contribution of Ozil have been questioned since his club record 42 million pound move from Real Madrid in the summer of 2013, yet Wenger is convinced his World Cup winning midfielder will silence his doubters over the course of this season.

"Why should Ozil be a scapegoat? We've lost one game since April 1," Wenger responded when quizzed about the form of the 25-year-old midfielder ahead of his side's game against Aston Villa on Saturday.

"We have come out of a very difficult preparation period with decisive games. We had very difficult games against Besiktas [Champions League playoff match]. I don't know -- a scapegoat for what?

"Fans need to be patient. You want your best players in every game but you have to be united and go through hard periods. The criticism [of Ozil] is unfair because it's post-World Cup. It takes a few months for them to get back to their best.

"What is difficult to manage today is that everybody knows absolutely everything and everybody judges people definitely on one game. You have to accept that football is played by human beings who have ups and downs like you have in your life.

"You have plenty of tacticians in the world who have managed zero games. You have to accept their opinion -- they might be right, they might be wrong as well. They have to accept that.

 "We live in a world where everybody has an opinion and we have to live with that. At the end of the day, somebody always has to make a decision and that's the guy who is responsible."

Wenger went on to urge Arsenal supporters to get behind Ozil rather than criticising his performances, as he suggested the Gunners faithful can play a role in easing the German back to top form.

"A club is a union between players, supporters and directors," added Wenger. "You have to be united and sometimes go through periods together where it goes a bit less well.

"They should not be concerned and just support him. I understand that you want your best players always to make the difference in every single game and we all go through periods where we are a bit less good."

"He is hungry for goals and that's the best thing for a team like us. For him to start this season in England, coming from Spain which is a different league and to recreate the same thing he was doing in Spain is fantastic."

Drogba went on to suggest he had a role to play as both a striker and a mentor in the Chelsea dressing room this season, as he hopes his status as a Stamford Bridge legend acts as an inspiration to the younger players in Jose Mourinho's Blues squad.

"I'm here to help but I'm also here to show, if I can say that, to show them the spirit," Drogba said when asked about his leadership role at the club.

"Even if I don't have any doubt about their desire to win, I'm here to help and I will give what I can. I'm preparing myself to give something extra to the team and achieve what we want to achieve."

Drogba went on to suggest he will relish the chance to take on an old colleague when Chelsea travel to face a Manchester City that could feature Frank Lampard on Sunday.

"I can't wait to see him, my partner in crime," added Drogba. "It is a pity that I came back and he's not here any more, but I will be happy to see him.

"It doesn't matter the team where he is playing, I think he still belongs to us. He is a Chelsea player, for what he did. For me, he is part of the history of the club."

Mario Balotelli reunite with his supercar after shipping it over from italy

Mario Balotelli drove to Liverpool training on Thursday in his £240,000 Ferrari F12 Berlinetta that has been shipped over from Italy.

The 24-year-old has now been reunited with his beloved supercar, which was seen arriving at Liverpool's Melwood training base as Balotelli and his team-mates prepare for Saturday's Premier League trip to West Ham.

The Italy forward joined Brendan Rodgers side in a £16million switch from AC Milan in August and he will have been buoyed by the fact his luxurious vehicle has finally made the same move.

Balotelli's love of cars is legendary and many of his infamous scrapes and japes have involved one of his motors.

The Italy star's most famous vehicle was probably the camouflage £160,000 Bentley GP in which he was spotted in Manchester. His white Maserati was also ticketed in the city centre.

A Russian Man Hangs himself on skype while online users cheer him on

A shocking Skype suicide where a young man hanged himself while online spectators urged him on is being investigated by police in Russia.

Victim Sergey Kirilov, 26, from Moscow, had announced his own death on a social networking site and asked anyone who wanted to see it to link to him on Skype.

Astonished police say instead of trying to stop him, many urged him on, saying a 'real man' would have killed himself more quickly.

Dozens of spectators linked to troubled Mr Kirilov's account and looked on as he prepared to hang himself.

Only one attempted to stop him.

One even told him: 'Come on, are you ready yet? Go on - do it.'

And another urged: 'If a man says he's going to do something, he needs to do it.' 

Moscow police are now trying to trace all the people who watched Mr Kirilov's suicide through their internet service providers.

Spokesman Leonti Zubarev said: 'It is beyond belief that people could watch this as a form of entertainment.

'We will be investigating everyone who watched this incident, especially those who urged him to carry it out who may be guilty of negligent homicide.'

Arsenal are exploring the free transfer market in a desperate attempt to ease their defensive problems.woes

The Gunners’ lack of depth in defence was apparent on Tuesday night when Arsene Wenger was left with just three senior defenders for their 2-0 defeat by Borussia Dortmund.

The club are looking for a central defender to provide cover for Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny.

Clubs can still sign free agents despite the transfer window closing on September 1.

Scouts have been asked to examine short-term options Diego Lugano and Joseph Yobo, who are both available and have been discussed at the club’s London Colney HQ.

The pair have Premier League experience — Yobo for Everton and Norwich and Lugano with West Brom — which is key for the Gunners.

Any moves, though, are a way from fruition with the club still considering their options.

There was at least some good news for Wenger on Wednesday when scans on the right ankle of Jack Wilshere, injured in Germany, revealed no serious damage.

Also, Mathieu Debuchy who came off against Manchester City, confirmed he has avoided a broken ankle.

‘No fracture but one broken ligament,’ the Frenchman posted on his Facebook account. ‘I have to wait until Friday in order to know if I must have surgery.’

Mikel Arteta, meanwhile, admits Arsenal have no chance of winning the Champions League if they cannot solve the problems which led to their defeat in Dortmund.

‘We have to react,’ Arteta insisted. ‘If you make errors like we did against the top sides, we know there is no chance to win the Champions League.'

Pep Guardiola says Bayern Munich were tested, but deserved win

Bayern coach Pep Guardiola felt his side underperformed despite creating the majority of an entertaining game's chances in a 1-0 victory over Manchester City in their first match of the Champions League campaign on Wednesday.

Former City defender Jerome Boateng gave the German champions the victory over their English counterparts when he struck from the edge of the box in the 90th minute thanks to a slight deflection off Mario Gotze.

Guardiola said he felt the goal was coming as Bayern controlled the match's closing stages.

"We played well. In the first 20 minutes, Manchester were better than we were but the last 15 minutes we dominated," he said. "We created a lot of opportunities to score but it was not easy against them. We played with a lot of courage and we won and we earned it."

Guardiola paid tribute to the resilience of Manchester City, who were without manager Manuel Pellegrini as he served a touchline ban.

"I know Manuel Pellegrini very well, his defensive movements in the back line are first class, almost perfect," the Bayern manager said. "It is not easy creating so many chances but we were consistent. We tried, we made everything and we deserved it.

Bayern are in second place in Group E, behind on goal difference to Roma, who trounced CSKA Moscow 5-1 on Wednesday.

"We know how difficult this group is. We know it will not be decided until the last game so to start with this victory is very important for us."
