GRAPHIC CONTENT: New Zealand bushman kills giant octopus by biting its head off

This is the gross-out moment a New Zealand bushman killed a giant octopus 'humanely' - by chewing its head off.
Survival expert Josh James - aka the Kiwi Bushman - showed off the gruesome technique to his fans by posting the clip from a recent diving trip on his YouTube channel.
The footage shows the octopus' tentacles flaying wildly around as New Zealand's answer to Bear Grylls - wearing a camouflage wetsuit - holds it up to the camera before he sinks in his teeth between its eyes.
It's not certainly viewing for the feint-hearted.
An octopus has eight sucker arms and a soft sac-like body with strong beak-like jaws - but no internal shell.
It's not clear whether it would feel any pain from this technique.
Before bearded Josh begins he emerges with it out of the water and begins: "Just got an octopus today, these things are really good eating' - but that you have to freeze them before cooking to change the texture.
Then he suddenly says "To kill them, you bite them right between the eyes..." - and bites down hard on its head.
Josh then spits out the flesh of the octopus over the side of the boat before continuing "...because that's where the brain is".
He adds: "There you go, you see he was wiggling around before now he's dead as.
"Now that folks, is how you kill and octopus."
