The two began arguing on Instagram Sunday, August 14 after Justin threatened to make his page private if his fans continued to post mean comments about his rumored new flame Sofia. Responding to this, Selena asked him to stop posting photos of the 17-year-old model and stop blaming his fans.
"If you can't handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol. It should be special between you two only. Don't be mad at your fans. They love you," Selena wrote in the comment section before deleting it. She also threw shade at her ex by thanking her own fans.
Later, Justin appeared to diss Selena as he commented on his own post, "It's funny to see people that used me for attention and still try to point the finger this way." In another comment, the "Hands to Myself" singer then revealed that her ex-boyfriend cheated on her "multiple times" when they were still dating.
"Funny how the ones that cheated multiple times, are pointing the finger at the ones that were forgiving and supportive," she wrote. "No wonder fans are mad. Sad. All love."
Justin and Selena dated on and off for years before splitting for good in 2014. Since then, he's been seen hanging out with a number of different ladies. He was rumored to be dating Sahara Ray after pictures surfaced online featuring them frolicking in the nude during their vacation in Hawaii.
