Manchester
United were again a target for rivals fans online as their poor start to
the season got significantly worse on Tuesday night as they were
thrashed 4-0 by MK Dons.
The
internet had not been kind to Louis van Gaal after he picked up just
one point in his first two games in the Premier League and the web
closed in again after the mauling in Milton Keynes.
United were dire at stadium:mk, with defensive errors commonplace and a lack of attacking cohesion.
Many
virals continued to attack Van Gaal, but there was also plenty of
comment about new signing Angel di Maria, who signed for United from
Real Madrid on Tuesday in a deal worth £60million.
Meanwhile, players from rival clubs also took to social media to enjoy United's misfortune.
Manchester
City's Edin Dzeko and Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech both expressed their
pleasure on Twitter, while former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong
suggested he might as well pop along to Old Trafford for a trial.
