Plush pad: The Essex mansion is on the market for £2.2million, and comes with five bedrooms
Gareth Bale's £2.2million Essex
mansion has been put up for sale with the Welsh star settled into his new life
at Real Madrid.
The five-bedroom pad in Clarence
Gate, Woodford Green, has been posted on property website rightmove.com, giving
fans and potential buyers the chance to look inside Bale's former abode.
The house comes with three
bathrooms, a detached triple garage and a 150-foot garden.
Boasting three balconies, the house has an open plan kitchen/diner and a galleried landing, with French windows throughout to enhance natural light.
The estate agents' advert says it
has been the subject of 'complete modernisation' over the last two years - and
it could get even bigger.
Planning permission has reportedly
been granted to add a second floor onto the property, complete with two more
bedrooms and another bathroom.
Bale is now living in former Real
star Kaka's house in the Spanish capital at the princely cost of £10,000 a
month.
Since his world-record £86million
move from Spurs, Bale has netted nine goals in 13 appearances, with the Spanish
giants taking on FC Copenhagen in Tuesday night's final Champions League group
stage.
The match is a dead rubber for Carlo
Ancelotti's side who are guaranteed to finish top of Group B.
