Am i seeing well? Incredible body painter blends her subjects into the landscapes around them

Natalie Fletcher's '100 Bodies Across America' project sees painted individuals blended into the likes of tourist hotspots, forests and ruins.

For each work Natalie travels to a certain spot in the country before selecting volunteers - not models - who she then paints.

So far Natalie, 29, has created works in front of the likes of the Welcome to Las Vegas sign and Superstition Mountains in Arizona.

Each work takes here between 45 minutes and three hours to complete, with her subjects wearing only underwear whilst being painted.

Creative Natalie, from Bend in Oregon, USA, hopes to complete the entire series by September this year.

She said: 'I have been preparing for this for three years - it's my dream project. I've been on the road for so long now I no longer know the days of the week.

'The people I have met, painted and just hung out with have been incredible. I want to put out a positive message of 'love your body' - it's the only one you are going to get.

'That is why I make people on art: each canvas is unique and beautiful.' 

Natalie began her project in March and plans to paint two people in each state that she visits.

On her website the artist encourages those that want to be painted to get in touch with their ideas.

Man City stay won't damage my Chelsea legacy- Frank Lampard

Frank Lampard insists his surprising decision to sign for Manchester City after he ended his long spell at Chelsea last summer has not caused lasting damage to his legacy with the Stamford Bridge club.

Some Chelsea fans were disappointed by Lampard's move to join title rivals City for a season after he initially decided to join MLS side New York City, yet the 36-year-old midfielder is not concerned that his spell in Manchester will have tarnished his status as a Blues legend.

"I had 13 years at Chelsea and I will always be a Chelsea boy because I played there and have so many memories," Lampard said on an appearance on a Channel 4 chat show to be broadcast on Friday.

"They decided I was moving on and at 35 you are not going to fight that. If they want you to move on you move on. Then Manchester City came in for me. it was too good to turn down.

"At 36, not many people get asked to play for the champions of England at the time for five months. I have got such a great relationship with the Chelsea fans. It hasn't broken it.

"I still have my main house in Chelsea and I go back to London a lot, I hope I won't ever lose that, I don't think I will."

Lampard also confirmed he is still a huge admirer of Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, even though the Portuguese tactician was believed to be part of the decision making process that saw the midfielder's 13-year stay at Stamford Bridge end last summer.

"He is brilliant. If you wanted to bottle a manager and get all the good bits in it, he has got them," Lampard said.

"I say that because he helped me in my career a huge amount. When he came I didn't have that self-confidence, I was 25, and he brought that out of me. And he does that with all the players he works with.

"He is very good at gauging a player and he knows if you need a [lecture] he will give it to you individually or as a team on a day but if you need a little bit of love and niceness he does that as well."

Before the transformation starts, the current owner who bought the mansion in December 2014 invited photographer Johnny Joo to go around and see what is inside the glamorous estate.

After having tour around the mansion, Joo shared his opinion to Daily Mail, saying, "My journeys have taken me to some strange places but nothing quite like the abandoned home of a former professional boxer. It felt cold, rather empty and eerie-not so much a creepy eerie but a more interesting one. I knew Mike Tyson had once just hung out here and now I stood staring down everything that had been left behind."

He also detailed the condition of the mansion, "I loved the bathroom simply because of the view and the mirrored ceiling above the Jacuzzi tub. But the pool was probably my favorite just because of how incredibly large it was and thinking how vibrant it was at one point in time. The room was bigger than three of my houses, it was pretty incredible to look at while standing at one end. Everything was so full of life and now simply collects dust."

Asked about the transformation plan, Joo said, "It makes a perfect candidate for the church to move into and build their sanctuary. Structurally the home is wonderful and I can't wait to see the restoration completed over time." The photographer also said that the owner would like for Tyson to attend the first gathering inside the churches sanctuary.

The heavyweight champion boxer Tyson lived in the mansion during the late 1980s and 1990s until he went bankrupt following a conviction for rape and serious financial problems. Now, the 48-year-old only used the property as a base while training for fights at Don King's facility 20 miles away in nearby Orwell.

The 4'4' dwarf, who resides in Florida, has lifted as much as 36 stone.

With women, he is no less ambitious.

Doctors also fear he may have a heart attack if he keeps up his all-action lifestyle.

Kraft is undeterred. 

'Some people say that what I do is weakness, or micro-man syndrome - that I want to do something that I am not built for, to prove something,' he said.

'But I believe there's only one winner - second is first loser. Second doesn't count.

'Overall, I am one of the five strongest guys in the world, regardless of height and weight.

'And I am the only guy in the world who has ever benched four-times his body weight.'

His driving force, he says, is his girlfriend. 

'We used to walk against the current, but the current has changed,' he says.

'Florida is one the states that have same-sex marriage - and both of us are basically the same sex.

'I enjoy dating a transgender woman because she was born a male and is doing the utmost to become as feminine as possible.

'I find that most women born as women do not spend as much time on their appearance.

R. Kelly Sued by a concert promoter for Canceling Concert

R. Kelly is being sued by a concert promoter who booked him for an upcoming concert. According to a new report by TMZ, the promoter named Darryl Austin was pissed after the R&B singer canceled his performance at the show scheduled to take place in Dallas next month, but failed to return the money the promoter had paid him.

Austin stated in his lawsuit that he hand-delivered $100,000 to Kelly's team in January as a deposit to hold him to his commitment for the concert. However, when he contacted the star's team again in February, they said they knew nothing about the event and they never agreed to have Kellz play there.

Austin then asked Kelly's team to return his money, but he only received $70,000. It means, the 48-year-old entertainer still owes him $30,000.

The promoter wants the court to make Kelly pay the money he owes or perform at the concert as originally planned.

Messi and Ronaldo have dominated the "Pichichi" award since the 2009-10 season, with the Argentine finishing top scorer on three occasions -- including his record-setting 50 goals in 2011-12 -- and the Real Madrid star winning it twice.

Haunting image of Fetuses of Smoking Pregnant Women

It's no secret that smoking is bad for you. It's bad for your lungs, it's bad for your heart and if you're pregnant, it can be downright lethal for your unborn child.

To learn more about this last point, a new pilot study published in the medical journal Acta Paediatrica looked at fetuses in the wombs of both smokers and nonsmokers and found what appeared to be the unborn children of the smoking mothers literally gasping for breath.

Over the course of dozens of ultrasounds, babies were examined between 24 and 36 weeks of gestation. The study found that babies of the smoking mothers put their hands over their mouth while also seemingly showing en elevated degree of agitation and discomfort. 

"Babies need a healthy environment when they're in the womb," David Abramowitz, an Obstetrics and Gynecology Resident at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, told Mic. "Anything you do to hinder that is bad."

The facts: Study after study after study has linked smoking while pregnant to adverse health affects in newborn children. According to the U.S. Center for Disease Control, women who smoke during pregnancy increase their chances of a miscarriage. 

Babies born to smoking moms are often premature or underweight, sometimes requiring post-birth hospitalization. The chances of developing birth defects like cleft lip and cleft palate also rise for the babies of smokers. When you think about the hundreds of toxic ingredients in cigarettes like cyanide, arsenic and formaldehyde, it's a small miracle that more damage is not done.

Unlike alcohol, which most people can harmlessly stop during pregnancy, cigarettes are highly addictive, thanks to the nicotine cigarette makers artificially add to keep users hooked. Even when the life of your unborn child is at stake, going cold turkey for nine months is asking a lot, and the numbers reflect that. 

The CDC found roughly 10% of women smoked during their last trimester, and only 55% of women who smoked before becoming pregnant were able to kick the habit during their pregnancy

Limits of the study. With a sample size of just 20 (16 nonsmokers and four smokers), the Acta study was not large enough to draw any firm conclusions. By its own admission it determined that a larger investigation was needed to confirm the results and to evaluate their meaning. 

Much as scientists and philosophers have debated at exactly what point life begins, it is notoriously difficult to evaluate things like "discomfort" or "agitation" in the unborn. Ultrasound technology has allowed us a window to look inside, but in many ways our technology has outstripped our ability to understand what we're seeing. 

In 1984, the documentary The Silent Scream purported to show the horrific and painful death of a 3-month-old fetus during an abortion. Copies were sent to every member of congress and justice of the United States Supreme Court. 

The film, however, was widely derided by professionals as misleading. Many cautioned against overimaginative interpretations of fetal movements. Dr. Jennifer Niebyl, formerly of the John Hopkins School of Medicine, told the New York Times that ''the fetus, at this gestational age, is really exhibiting strictly reflex activity.''

Angelina Jolie reveals she's now in Menopause

Earlier this month, Angelina Jolie denied reports of her putting off cancer surgery for another baby and she has just confirmed that she is now in menopause period. In an open letter to NY times, titled "Angelina Jolie Pitt: Diary of a Surgery", she opened up about how a surgery to remove her ovaries and fallopian tubes following a cancer scare resulted in her having early menopause.

"There was a small benign tumor on one ovary, but no signs of cancer in any of the tissues," she recalled. "I chose to keep my uterus because cancer in that location is not part of my family history".

"It is not possible to remove all risk, and the fact is I remain prone to cancer. I will look for natural ways to strengthen my immune system. I feel feminine, and grounded in the choices I am making for myself and my family. I know my children will never have to say, 'Mom died of ovarian cancer,' " the 39-year-old actress went on explaining. "Regardless of the hormone replacements I'm taking, I am now in menopause. I will not be able to have any more children, and I expect some physical changes. But I feel at ease with whatever will come, not because I am strong but because this is a part of life. It is nothing to be feared."

Compassionate as always, Jolie went on writing, "I feel deeply for women for whom this moment comes very early in life, before they have had their children. Their situation is far harder than mine." She also shared, "I inquired and found out that there are options for women to remove their fallopian tubes but keep their ovaries, and so retain the ability to bear children and not go into menopause. I hope they can be aware of that."

Jolie, moreover, explained, "It is not easy to make these decisions. But it is possible to take control and tackle head-on any health issue. You can seek advice, learn about the options and make choices that are right for you." She then concluded, "Knowledge is power."

Vin Diesel honor Paul Walker by naming his newborn daughter 'Pauline'

 

Vin Diesel keeps Paul Walker's memory alive in his family. The actor names his newborn daughter after his late "Fast and Furious" co-star. "I named her Pauline," he revealed to Natalie Morales during an appearance on "Today" show.

"He was in the room," an emotional Diesel said. "There's no other person that I was thinking about as I was cutting this umbilical cord. I just ... I knew he was there... It felt like, you know, a way to keep his memory a part of my family and a part of my world."

 Pauline is Vin Diesel's third child with longtime girlfriend, Mexican model Paloma Jimenez. The baby joins big brother Vincent Sinclair, 4, and sister Hania Riley, 6.

Diesel credited Walker, who was a father to teen daughter Meadow, for helping him embrace parenthood. "He was an important part of my transition into fatherhood," he wrote on Facebook in November.

"He was a part of so much in my life ... long personal talks with my mother or babysitting the Alpha Angel ... he took a certain pride in being Uncle Pablo," Diesel said of his late pal. "After all, we were filming a scene in FF4 the day [Hania] was born, and he being the only one I told, encouraged me to go in and cut the umbilical cord."

Paul Walker's final movie, "Furious 7", opens April 3 in North America. "This was a labor of love," Diesel couldn't contain his tears as he told fans at SXSW during the premiere. "It was in some ways the hardest movie I ever had to do because the relationships that you see on film are so real. When the tragedy happened, I lost my best friend. I lost my brother."

Ebola-proof tablet to help teams record vital patient information is developed

A tablet device that can withstand being doused in chlorine has been developed to help medics caring for patients with Ebola.

Designed by technology volunteers and Google, it can be used even wearing gloves and in storms and high humidity.

Medecins Sans Frontieres put out a call for an Ebola-proof tablet to help teams record vital patient information.

At the height of the current outbreak, doctors were shouting patient notes across fences to avoid contamination.

Ebola is passed on through close contact with infected bodily fluids.

Even a single piece of paper leaving a high-risk zone poses a risk of passing on the infection, the charity says.

And health workers caring for these patients have to be encased in full protective suits with goggles and multiple layers of gloves, despite the soaring temperatures.

But dictating notes across a fence at the end of exhausting shifts while wearing masks was a "recipe for error", MSF said.

To overcome these challenges the group of international tech volunteers came together, including Pim de Witte of Whitespell and Daniel Cunningham at Hack4Good. They were later joined by Google. 

The tablet has waterproof casing at an "industrial level" according to Ivan Gayton, technology advisor at MSF.

It can be dunked in 0.5% chlorine solution which kills Ebola - if used on unprotected hands this strength of chlorine could cause chemical burns.

Sharp edges of the tablet were removed so that protective clothing would not be pierced.

And it is charged quickly and wirelessly by being placed on a table. The tablet connects wirelessly to a tiny local network server that is roughly the size of a postage stamp.

Health workers use it to track a patient's progress - comparing pulse, temperature and other results over time.
