Liverpool boss 'Brendan Rodgers' frustrated as Chelsea won at Anfield
Demba Ba opened the scoring just before the break after Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard had slipped, allowing the striker to latch onto the ball before nutmegging the advancing Simon Mignolet.

Manchester City sit three points off the Reds in third position, with a game in hand and a better goal difference as the title race looks set to go right to the wire.
Rodgers told Sky Sports News: "Congratulations to Chelsea, they won the game, we just couldn't find the breakthrough.

On Thursday, when TIME Magazine named her one of its most influential people and put her on the cover, they recognized something that's long been evident: Beyoncé is an unimpeachable cultural icon. She is a powerful feminist whose art is challenging, phenomenally entertaining and uplifting. Sheryl Sandberg, of Lean In fame, wrote the blurb on Beyoncé for the magazine. Sandberg wrote, "She raises her voice both on- and offstage to urge women to be independent and lead."

Beyoncé's influence isn't simply for women, though. There's something almost comically unflinching in her

Chris Brown apparently has to stay in jail for a bit longer. The R&B singer, who is accused of hitting a man outside a hotel in Washington D.C. in October, was scheduled to stand trial on Wednesday, April 23. The trial, however, has been delayed. NBC4 reports that no specific date has been set.

Brown's bodyguard Christopher Hollosy, who was arrested for an assault charge along with the singer, was found guilty in a separate trial earlier this week and his sentencing is scheduled for June 25. Hollosy, who is scheduled to testify in Brown's case, refused to testify out of fear of self-incrimination because he planned to appeal his own conviction. Pope Francis goes against years of Catholic teaching and tells divorced woman it is OK to take communion

The Catholic Church forbids divorcees from taking communion, but Pope Francis has been looking for a solution to the problem saying that 'something must be done' to help those that want to
A little bread and wine 'does no harm,' Pope Francis said to a divorced woman as he flew in the face of Catholic convention by telling her it's okay for her to take communion.

Catholic teachings traditionally forbid divorcees from the Eucharist, so the divorcee had written to its spiritual leader asking for advice about how she could be part of the ritual.

She had told him she didn't want to do anything that would be wrong in the eyes of the church.

Pope Francis has for some time been looking for a solution to the problem, saying that ‘something must be done’ to help those that want to.

Manchester United confirmed on Tuesday that David Moyes has been dismissed as manager after just 10 months on the job. Ryan Giggs will be interim coach, the club announced.Manchester United have already made the first steps toward bringing in Louis van Gaal, Old Trafford
Exactly a year after winning a record-extending 20th English championship, United dismissed Moyes during a meeting at the training ground on Tuesday morning.
Moyes replaced Sir Alex Ferguson last summer on a six-year contract, but was relieved of his duties after Sunday’s 2-0 defeat to former club Everton, which left the club unable to qualify for the Champions League.
A terse, two-line statement on the club’s official website read: “Manchester United has announced that David Moyes has left the club.
“The club would like to place on record its thanks for the hard work, honesty and integrity he brought to the role.”
Ryan Giggs, who had worked as player-coach under Moyes this season, will take temporary charge of the club, but there has been speculation for some time over Moyes’ permanent successor.
