Prince's sister Tyka Nelson reportedly had a meltdown in the first meeting with the late singer's siblings which took place on Thursday, April 28 in Minnesota. According to TMZ, Tyka stormed out of the meeting over a disagreement about the music icon's fortune, which will be split between all of his remaining siblings.
As previously reported, Minnesota law suggested that all siblings had to share the "Little Red Corvette" hitmaker's wealth, which is $300 million, evenly without considering whether they're half or full-blood siblings. According to sources, Tyka apparently wasn't happy with the decision and she left the meeting, which was also attended by brothers Alfred and Omar, angrily.
Tyka didn't think that they had to split the money equally. She hoped to get more than the rest of the family because she's Prince's only full-blood sister.
According to insiders, the meeting was tense, with Alfred taking two hours to express his displeasure that he was the only sibling left out of Prince's memorial service, which Tyka planned. After the meeting, a rep from the bank that was appointed as the administrator took Alfred on a tour of Prince's home and the area where he died "so he could properly grieve."
